I got a loan for a truck, they charged me to much for the truck and the truck wasnt even legal to be driven on the roads. It actually smashed an elderly ladies vehicle while I took my kids into the baby sitter, I paid a lot of money to get car fixed. Once I paid off truck I got a XXXX loan for {$1000.00}, which wasnt supposed to include my truck but did. They added it on there and by that time I signed it. I was making payments and got a new job. I got loan in XXXX of XXXX, by around XXXX I had gotten a new job. I was going to be late for a payment and called them and told them I got paid on Thursdays now and that I got a new job they were holding out a week and as soon as I got paid I would come pay them. One day before I told them I would be there they came and took my truck. When I called them to inform them they had made a mistake they told me the only way I could get my truck back was if I paid off the loan in full, {$500.00}. Months later they took me to court demanding I pay them {$900.00}. I told the judge I did not owe them that. that they took my truck and that should of been payment enough. We went back and forth to court numerous times where they refused and never did put in proof of how much they sold my truck for. The judge kept putting it off for 2 weeks. He told me it wasnt criminal court it was fine if I couldnt come. He also said the last time I went that he felt it was best for us to work this out outside of courtS. I contacted them numerous times and they did not respond. Court came I was 15 mins late for court and the judge put a judgement in on their behalf. I was upset and the judge called me a XXXX XXXX word. I called to set up payment they sent me to somebodies voice mail. I called 3 times to set up payment. I heard nothing for years. I figured they were gon na let it go since they got my truck. They never put it on my credit report. Now XXXX. All these years later, Court was in XXXX? According to their paper. But I believe we started going to court the end of XXXX. They have sent me a letter stating that I owe them {$2000.00}. That interest has accrued onto the {$900.00} judgement and that now I owe them {$2000.00} almost and that they are going to force me to sell the interest in my house to get their {$2000.00} ( {$1800.00} to be exact ) That they are going to take a lein and then force me to sell my home. They still have yet to this day told me house much they sold my truck for. I went up their daily to see them announce they were going to auction off the truck because they are supposed to put it on the front door and announce it, they never did. These people robbed me stole my truck charged me double and are now threatening to take my house? Please help me. I have been a nervous wreck since I received the letter. I have mental health issues and this has pushed me to the point of throwing up sick shaking crying cant sleep : I have XXXX kids. I clearly told them in court give me my truck back Ill pay the rest of what I owe. Or they needed to put what they got for my truck into the loan. I feel like I just paid them {$3000.00} for the truck it ought to of satisfied the {$500.00} I owed them. How cant they wait 4 years to contact me and then charge me an extra {$1000.00}? This is so messed up!!!
