Hello, my complaint is as follows. I was engaged with New Coast financial services in regards to a boat loan. Through the process they collected significant amounts of Financial and non public information. At no time in the process did they provide a notification of their policies and practices for protecting my NPI. They collected my NPI on a non secure XXXX XXXX and routed my personal information over non secure email. Nor did they disclose the 3rd parties my data has been shared with and what their policies are re : protecting consumer NPI. I have substantial assets in the accounts they collected information on, and I received no response in regards to my queries on their policies for protecting and or destroying my NPI and PPI. I am a former XXXX XXXX and have intimate familiarity with the As a broker or lender you are governed by Gramm Leach Bliley Act, or GLBA which requires financial institutions to provide clear and understandable notification of the companies policies and practices for protecting NPI. And that the notification must be made explicitly on paper or online, and must meet specific disclosure requirements. The company failed to provide any such notification during the application and data collection process and failed to respond to my direct questions regarding my privacy rights and their responsibility for protecting my NPI. I am a victim of financial fraud in the past and am deeply concerned that New Coast Financial is miss handling my NPI. here is the contact of the individual I was working with ....
