On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from MCS inc in reference to a medical debt owed. After investigation I have discovered the debt is from a service performed in XX/XX/XXXX. I never received a bill nor was contact till over nearly 8 years after the service was performed. They could not give an account number to reference nor date of service. I had to investigate all to verify. I have contacted MCS and explained to them the debt is over the statute of limitations, they are still going to proceed with court actions. The letter attached is the very first contact I have had with both the service provider and debt collector since the the initial date of service. Since this debt is in Virginia and I live in Idaho. It makes fighting very difficult.
