I opened my account with XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/22. I was planning to use this account as an online checking account and for bill pay. I had a direct deposit to my account on XX/XX/22 and was rewarded with a {$50.00} credit for my first direct deposit. Later, I was credited a {$5.00} bonus for using my debit card for the first time on XX/XX/22. I attempted to pay my credit card bill today at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/22, but my bank does not allow me to pay using the Majority XXXX. Since this was the primary reason I decided to open this account, I decided to close my account with Majority. After informing Majority of my intent to close my account, Majority debited both the {$50.00} direct deposit credit as well as the {$5.00} bonus from my account. They refused to return the funds, even after I told them I would not have closed the account had I known they would remove my {$55.00}. I emailed them twice letting them know this was unacceptable but they told me there was nothing they can do and I should continue to close the account. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I just want my {$55.00} back and to be done using the Majority app since it's clear they don't value treating their customers well.

I have been using Majority bank checking account which was opened and approved on XX/XX/2022. I had initial issues with not being able to use my funds in the account but they sorted the technical error and I could start using my account from XX/XX/XXXX. The account allowed me to use my credit card and fund the account which was a feature of the account and I used it till XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent an email to the support team of Majority that I am not able to deposit funds using my card that was added to the account. They asked me if the card is a debit or credit card to which I responded that it was a credit card. They said that its not allowed to deposit funds using credit card. However, I was able to do it for the past 15 days without any issue. Finally, on XX/XX/XXXX, they sent me an email that they will be closing my account without giving me any reasons and asked me to withdraw funds from the account by XX/XX/XXXX. I found it unfair and disrespectful for abruptly asking me to withdraw funds as they solely decided to close my account without any reason.

On XX/XX/15 - I was unable to log into the Majority online app to access my account. I requested online support to resolve the login issue. I received the following message : " XXXX XXXX, The trust and security of our members and their accounts are of the utmost importance to us. For this reason, we routinely review accounts to ensure there is no potential risk. During a recent review, we discovered unusual activity on your account, which is why we have decided to close it. No further action is required from you at this time. Thank you, The MAJORITY team '' I replied 3 times with messages over phone and email asking for more information. I have not received any additional information. Additionally, Majority has not provided me any documents after my account was applied for and opened, or since its closure.

I had an account open with Majority, a XXXX XXXX operated by Majority USA , LLC and backed by XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, they sent me a message stating " After a review of your account, we have made a final determination that we are unable to continue servicing your account. As a result, your account will be closed as of XX/XX/XXXX. Please ensure that you bring your balance to {$0.00} prior to the above date, or complete the attached balance transfer form and we can transfer your remaining balance to another account. I sent them the balance transfer form via email to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I had no response. This is now my final effort to collect the remainder of my balance in the account. I do not know the exact amount that was left, but I think it was around $ XXXX.

I had over {$700.00} in unauthorized transactions on my account. I disputed them. On the 10th business day, when I was inquiring where my provisional credit was and why it had not been placed into my account yet, my account was closed without my knowledge and no type of communication at all was sent to me explaining why we're letting me know that was happening. I was expecting that provisional credit and now it is caused a hardship for myself and my family and I have unable to pay bills that needed to be paid. This company owes me over {$700.00} and I want my money and I also want to be compensated for the additional fees and charges that I will be assessed for bills being late.

re : Majority Banking ( https : //www.majority.com ) On XX/XX/2022 Majority sent me email that my account will be closed on XX/XX/2022 and I should " ensure that you bring your balance to {$0.00} prior to the above date ''. I used my Majority bank account to pay off part of the balance on my XXXX XXXX credit card. The attempt by XXXX XXXX to pull funds on XX/XX/2022 was rejected due to " account closed ''. This resulted in retuned payment fee in the amount of {$39.00} added to my XXXX XXXX credit card balance and a negative mark on my record with XXXX XXXX.

I received a email from majority XXXX on XX/XX/2023 that the XXXX XXXX in my majority account was transferred to the bank account I listed on the transfer form. It is now XX/XX/2023 and have not received the XXXXXXXX XXXX and can't get a reply from majority email support or majority phone support.

I filed a dispute & they refunded my money & the same day they refunded my money they also blocked my account and the new debit card they sent me. I have called multiple times and they hang up on me & are very rude. They will not allow me to access my account to have access to my money.
