I actually never received anything from this company regarding a debt owed. However, several weeks ago, I received a letter from M2 Law Group PC about this debt owed and they supplied paperwork. Maybe my complaint with with the payday loan place but I also have a complaint with M2 Law Group PC. http : XXXX I believe under the FDCPA, you are not to imply you are a lawyer. However, this is a law group attempting to collect the debt. Their letterhead reads : M2 Law Group PC, Attorneys at Law, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, ID XXXX. At the bottom of the letter text reads, " ... and any information obtained will be used for that and other purposes allowed by law. '' Well, I have called and left messages twice with the law firm AND I submitted my information through their website 's Contact form. I have yet to receive a response. I have recorded my attempts. I just do not want to get blindsided with a lawsuit as I have attempted to contact them and make arrangements. Now I'm worried this company is not legitimate and not working for the XXXX XXXX company but XXXX have purchased the debt.

Notification was given to me through legal affiliation that I was being notified by a local attorney and debt collector of a debt owed to an online lamp company in the amount of XXXX dollars for a XXXX dollar loan. A response was sent in the form of a validation of debt request in my behalf. 22 days later a response was sent back with a generic arbitration outline, a generic statement of charges and a letter from the representative stating the debt " appears '' to be valid and that " I should contact '' thier office and they would continue to pursue collection actions which " could include legal actions. '' The requirements of the FDCPA and FCRA minimums were not met as per the FDCPA. No contract with a wet ink signature provided, generic statements with no banking information provided. Further validation with valid information must be provided.
