I am XXXX military and have been for XXXX years. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received XXXX, at which time, I had canceled various services to which I had at my home. One of these services, was a home security system. I submitted a copy of my XXXX as I had done with other services I terminated to no issues from the company. Around XXXX years later in XX/XX/XXXX, I started to receive outstanding debt notices from this company stating I owed {$1100.00}. I explained my situation and that I had previously resolved this matter prior to moving. The individual apologized and said they would take care of it. I heard nothing back until XX/XX/XXXX. I had again received XXXX. While in XXXX, my wife was back in the states buying a home for us in the next state we would be living in. It was at this time, we discovered the security system company had reported the debt to the credit bureaus. Before we could purchase the home, we had to have these issues resolved. I presented my case and the items were removed from my credit reports. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and this year, I have received multiple calls from XXXX different collection agencies all referencing this particular debt. Each time I request to have a bill mailed to me, the debt is sold to another agency and the process starts all over again. I have contacted the original debtor and they claim they have nothing further to do with this debt as it was sold off to collection agencies.

XX/XX/2022, I received a phone call at work that I was owing a sum of money to a known payday loan company. I didn't recognise the name of that payday loan company and attempted to verify that the debt was real. The people on the phone rushed me and insisted that they were a legitimate legal collections entity and that they already contacted my bank to verify if the payment really did not go through. They then transferred me to a " lawyer '' that expressed if I paid {$500.00} right then and there that the client will be happy and leave this alone. So I paid the {$500.00}, giving my debit card information, I requested a receipt and they sent me XXXX from a strange " mail.com '' email address. and my bank statement showed an entirely different company that i paid this money to. I never received any contact again. Today, XX/XX/2022 XXXX EST, I received a call again from this same collections agency expressing that I have an amount owing to the payday loan company. I was confused because in XXXX, I was told that I already paid in FULL. But this time around, I am more confused about how I am owing {$5400.00} and that the payday loan company is willing to accept {$3100.00} to pay off the remaining balance. I do not remember taking any kind of loan from this company. I believe I was scammed in XXXX because I actually paid {$500.00}.

I return a call to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 's located in XXXX, NY. I get calls at all hours and lots of them saying they are going to sue me, if I do n't pay they are going after my husband too. I get XXXX different numbers to call, called back a XXXX XXXX for her to be nasty and hang up when I asked to talk to her supervisor, that if I do n't pay they will seek legal action resulting in me paying the bill+court cost+lawyer fees. I never ever open this account and I tried to tell her that but she would n't hear me out. I look up the numbers and a XXXX XXXX shows up at the address and location she gave me. Number look up basically gave me the same things. I do n't know what to do at this point I am a laid off stay at home mom of XXXX young kids, my husband works XXXX jobs to keep us a float, I was just in a accident and was injured I have no time to go back and forth with these people. Help.

M & S Recovery Solutions contact me staring that they received my information from XXXX for a debit and threatened to sue me if I did n't comply with the terms I advise M & S Recovery Soultions that I have knowledge of this debt and do not call me again and the representative on the phone said well saying you have no knowledge is like saying you do n't have a brain. I told him he should not contact me again and before I could hang up he said that M & S Recovery would be sending my personal information to the credit agencies. I contacted XXXX acceptance perviously the originating company and advise that I did not apply for any credit with XXXX and a representative stated that they did n't have any information with my personal information. M & S Recovery Solutions LLC are attempting to threaten me into paying a debt that is not mine.

Repeated calls to a number that is not mine, and I have asked them to remove the number from the file. I offered a different number that they could call daily if needed. This company rep stated on voice mails that " A file with your social security number attached is in our office. If you do not contact us you will no longer be allowed to use your bank. '' Also they threatened legal action. When I mentioned that I was going to file a complaint, they said they would no longer give me any written documentation and that they would see me in court. I offered to make a payment plan, but was told that would cost an additional {$5.00} in " processing fees '' per month.

This company is trying to ruin my life. They call and threaten me all day, and for the past month, have been calling ALL of my family members up the entire XXXX XXXX. They will NOT validate debt ( If there is even a debt ), so I have no idea what they want. The harassment is getting so bad that I am seeking legal counsel next week. I just want them to stop calling my family and validate whatever debt they think I owe them. I did a complete debt consolidation two months ago so I have no idea what they want. They use threats and unethical practices and I have no idea how they are still in business. I am horrified by this company and what they do to people.

M & S Recovery Solutions, LLC contacted my mother on a past debt that I was not aware of on XXXX/XXXX/2015. They left a message for her to call them back. When she called they told her that they were going to file a XXXX on her with the IRS on a Credit Card purchase of mine at XXXX XXXX XXXX and told her to have me call them immediately to prevent this action. She was never involved with either the obtaining of a credit card for me or any purchase I made at XXXX XXXX XXXX and they are threatening her and giving her information on my account with them.

This number XXXX has been calling family and friends looking for us saying they want money from us for some debt and give no name as to their business or information about the matter but never have we received a call from them. When I looked up the number it was reported as a scam alert. Plus that number is not in service and goes to a XXXX voicemail service when called. The name my mom got was XXXX XXXX. She was uncertain as to the spelling of his last name. This has happened before and I do n't know how to stop it.
