My ex husband ( of nearly XXXX years ) was at the agency 's office to pay on his account. The employee asked if he wanted to pay on my account. She informed him he was also on the account. He told her that was highly unlikely as we 've been divorced for nearly XXXX years. She then told him how much I owed and what it was for. He then contacted me so that I could get it straightened out. I spoke the the manager of credit care in person. He said, " I do n't know how that could happen ''. I informed him that my ex knew all the private information, so it obviously did happen. He said he would investigate to find out who gave out the info and reprimand them.
He agreed that it was a violation, and apologized for my experience.
It was embarrassing that my ex was privy to my medical and financial information.

We receive back to back threatening letters to sue us and contact us at work. I called to arrange something and they repeadely said my whole families information and ss #. Very violating of my families information. Would n't answer me to why he needed my ss # when the bill is in my husbands name. Constant letters threatening us.
