On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed that funds were being taken out of my paycheck regarding a garnishment. The documentation provided to my employer was from a judgement from XX/XX/XXXX sent to an address that I did not reside at for an owed amount of {XXXX} in principal and {$XXXX additional interest and Attorney fees creating an owed amount of XXXX A Filed Case was done in XX/XX/XXXX over XXXX years after the original judgement to which the debtor claims {XXXX} interest with an XXXX % or {XXXX per day has accumulated bringing the new owed balance of {$XXXX}. The statute of limitations is XXXX years in Nevada and this is for a debt that has passed the statute with interest that has tripled over the original amount in XXXX. The debtor sent the notification to an address that I did not reside at nor have they made any connections regarding this matter. I did open a claim with the XXXX XXXX XXXX which the debtor says they have made contact with me and is refusing to provide information regarding the debt. I have sent certified letters to the debtor trying to obtain a letter of validation of debt which the debtor refuses to provide. The addresses on file for the debtor are addresses where the company does not reside at. The company is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX where the address on file are : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX ( address is an apartment complex with no apartment number ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX ( address is an dentistry as well as an return certified letter for undeliverables ). I finally found an address for the company at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX where I did send a certified letter that was delivered yet the company has not responded. The only conversation I have had with the company has been through my XXXX claim which the company is denying to provide a letter of debt validation or other information regarding the previous attempts to collect upon this debt. The XXXX case is # XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has received {XXXX} and claims {$XXXX is still owed for a debt that I am not aware of, sent to an address that I did not live at, a debt that is past the statutes of limitations to collect upon, and will not relinquish any information regarding the debt or the attempts to collect upon it nor the attempts to contact myself regarding this debt

Today I was at work when I was interrupted by my Supervisor around XXXX and was notified that Security needed to see me. My supervisor escorted me to Security and I was handed some paperwork. The man appeared to have a badge on his blue shirt that read " Constable ''. I was told by the man who had the badge that I was being served for a credit card but that it was n't a big deal and that I had 20 days to respond. He was explaining to me that I was being sued for a credit card but he did n't ask me to sign anything and I did n't end up sign anything at all which I thought was odd. After taking a look at my credit report, I noticed that this debt was from XX/XX/XXXX and the last time I had made a payment was XX/XX/XXXX. According to Nevada law I know that they only have 4 years to sue me which would have been XX/XX/XXXX and I know that they can not come to my place of employment. They have violated my consumer rights by trying to sue me now in XX/XX/XXXX and coming to my place of employment. I am also not sure if the person was really a law enforcement official or not I 'm still trying to figure that out.
