I received a loan offer that I agreed with the lender before releasing all the contingencies, after releasing the contingencies for the loan, a few days before closing I found out that my loan was not the same and they changed the terms to higher interest rate which caused higher mostrar Paymetns and also asking for a higher closing costs for about XXXX more. I didnt agree with the terms but I was told to sign so that we could start counting the days as we needed 3 days to process it. I was told by the broker that the bank changed the terms after we released the contingencies and that it was not his fault. Now if I dont. Close this property I will lose my XXXX and per my real estate agent also theres a risk that the seller will also ask for money from other damages. The broker said it was too risky to try to apply with other banks and that it would take about 2 weeks, pushing me to closed 2 days before closing date. I told them with time that o wouldnt qualify because I dont have enough for closing costs as they had increased the amount but they just lower the closing costs and increase my interest even more, causing the mortgage payment to increase again.
