I was to receive a check from the government in XXXX, but found out it was intercepted. I called the number listed and was told it was due to this unresolved medical debt. I explained to the women I am on social security XXXX, that I am fully covered and my information was provided at the hospital. She told me that it was too late to refund me the money the state intercepted, and that she'd talk to her manager to see what they could do about applying my insurance so late after the fact. She told me she would call me back. I never heard back. I only see that the {$20.00} something payment was applied to the debt, and it's affecting my credit. This makes no sense when I have full coverage insurance!

I do not owe this debt. I have rechecked my dates that I was covered by my parents policy with XXXX and verified with the insurance company that I was actually covered from XXXX not as what I had presumed of XXXX. I came of my parents policy in XXXX XXXX.
On turning the age of XXXX, it became my secondary policy with XXXX and my primary was with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and part of my employment package in XXXX.
All payments for health care services had been compensated for via insurance. I do not owe any medical balances, I even had additional coverage in my employment package. Please note this to my prior entry.

XXXX trying to collect a debt that the day I originally occurred the debt is past the 6 year statue of limitations and it is still negativily impacting my credit. I believe it's manupilative business practices which they should be held accountable. The account is duplicated on my credit I believe driving my collections up to negatively impact my score.
