Since XXXX, I had been paying XXXX XXXX XXXX monthly to help me pay off debt. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from XXXX stating that since I was good about making payments, they recommended that I speak to Liberty Lending who would pay of my remaining debt and I would start paying them. After speaking with Liberty Lending, I pointed out that I didn't like the XXXX XXXX interest and I specifically asked that if I signed, if I could back out of this agreement. They have this on a recorded phone call. He told me the loan process would probably start XX/XX/XXXX or up to XXXX days since when we spoke and that I had XXXX days to cancel. I was under the impression that I could cancel. After the phone call, over the course of a week, I discussed this opportunity with a family member and also my best friend. My best friend told me that they could lend me the remaining amount so I would not have to worry about the high interest. The following week, I called them to see about canceling the loan. They told me to call XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX said it was out of their hands and that the process had already started, meaning that they had already started paying my debt. They told me to call back Liberty Lending, which I did and they told me there was nothing I could do because the process had started. She said that within days ( not specified ) that the process would be finalized and I would get an email. I then asked for the loan agreement and it never got sent to me. This past week I got the finalized notice via email and I have been going back and forth between XXXX XXXX XXXX and Liberty Lending trying to get answers as to why this happened so quickly and why it happened without my ability to cancel. I also expressed how upset I was that XXXX XXXX XXXX literally threw me to the sharks so I could pay almost XXXX extra on debt that I was trying to pay down. I never had a fighting chance to get out of this loan. I felt extremely pressure the first day I spoke to them and I should have listened to my instinct. They misled me and in my opinion were highly unethical to do this. Now, I am stuck paying an additional {XXXX}. XXXX where if I had stayed with XXXX XXXX XXXX, I would not have to pay that. This is not right, it's not ethical at all. This should not be legal but people get XXXX every day apparently. I should have been able to cancel the day I called to cancel, which was less than XXXX days.

What Happened- I took advantage of an offer from XXXX for debt consolidation. I applied and was matched with Liberty Lending. On XX/XX/2022, I was sent an email that stated that my load had been approved and this was the final review. I have this email, both saved and printed out. On Tuesday XX/XX/2022, I received a voice mail from Liberty Lending asking me to call back in because they had an update on my loan. I called back in and was told that my loan was being denied, but Liberty Lending has this awesome partner agency, that could help me and if I would like Liberty Lending could put me in touch with them. I thanked the representative for their time. I called back and asked for an adverse action letter, and to make sure that I would not be charged the {$440.00} payment due to come out on XX/XX/2022 printed on the XXXX statement. I was unable to get a straight answer and I was refused an adverse action letter. It appears that Liberty Lendings original offer was not genuine and that my application was always meant for this partner agency which was not mentioned in the XXXX statement. I feel that I am the victim of bait and switch. I also reached out to Liberty Lending via email to state my displeasure. I just checked the website today XXXX and their dash board is set up like I am receiving this loan. This is after I was told that I was denied. Thank you

In XXXX of XXXX, I signed up with XXXX XXXX XXXX I was making a payment of XXXX to consoldate my debt. As time passed, I was getting lawsuits against several of the companies that I had debt with even though I was paying more than what I had agreed to pay. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was asked about a consolidation loan by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was transfered to what I though was a third party company XXXX XXXX. The sales person explained to me that it would take me longer to pay off my debt than the 4 years that I had agreed so it would be better to accept a consolidation loan. I agreed to the loan because I could no longer afford to pay more to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was paying about a XXXX a month which was doubled. I was afraid to go to court as well. Liberty Lending began taking payments in XXXX of XXXX. In the meantime, I learned that they were afflicted with XXXX XXXX XXXX becuaser they had the same address in XXXX XXXX. I learned this through emails that I received from both companies. I was never told of this when agreeing to take the loans. I had paid XXXX XXXX XXXX a lot in fees and was given a loan that had a hughe interest rate. I don't feel that this should be legal. I stopped paying in XXXX of XXXX. I thnow that there are others who are having the same issue. I just want this practice to siop.

I am extremely stressed about this matter with Liberty Lending, as the consumer and natural person they are violating multiple federal laws. Congress says under 15 USC 1605 determination of a finance charge - the amount of the finance charge in connection with any consumer credit transaction shall be determined as the sum of all charges, payable directly or indirectly by the person to whom the credit is extended, and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to the extension of credit. Truth and Lending says that the finance charge is the SUM OF ALL CHARGES, the charges i've been giving is significantly higher than the finance charge. XXXX XXXX, a representative from Liberty Lending also violated my rights as a consumer by contacting me after ignoring my cease and desist letter and failed to provide accurate information for the validation of this alleged debt. I, XXXX XXXX give permission to all parties involved to investigate this matter

I had a consolidated loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX and at the end of the process, the remaining amount owed was transferred to Liberty Lending , LLC at 27 % interest. The payments towards the loan with Liberty Lending began in XX/XX/XXXX. I was in the XXXX XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX and started a civilian job immediately following terminal leave. I was laid off in XXXX of XXXX and requested a forbearance. A 60-day forbearance was granted in XX/XX/XXXX and my first payment was due in XX/XX/XXXX when the forbearance ended. In XX/XX/XXXX, Liberty Lending told me that I was late on my payments and began to charge additional interest and late fees. Payments can only be made via the website. I have paying what I can every month. Today I went to the website and can not make a payment, see my balance, or any other account information. I have called the number on the website several times to no avail. Thank you
