On XX/XX/2018, I received a XXXX title loan from Lenco Finance. Extra charges were applied for credit life and accidental death insurance ... I asked if the loan was paid out early if I would be penalized. The answer was no and I would get credit for the unused portion of insurance. On XX/XX/18, 5 days later, I called for a payoff. They gave me a total of XXXX. I questioned the amount being so high and asked if I was getting credit for the 2 insurances they added to the loan and was told I was getting credit. I called the insurance company to inquire on what the refund would be and was told that I had to request a cancellation through the loan company and they would reimburse me the money. I called Lenco and asked for a printout that showed a breakdown on how they were calculating the payoff amount and was sent a printout that only showed the amount of XXXX as payoff. No indication of how this amount was calculated. I know it was a high interest loan but I knew I would be paying the loan off early to avoid the high interest charges. I understand that I incurred some fees but do not understand how they calculate that I owed them XXXX for a XXXX loan that I paid off in 5 days.
