The landlord Credit Bureau received information from XXXX XXXX on a property in XXXX California least by my fiance at the time. My fiance signed a lease and agreed to a credit check with this man. I did not agree to anything either verbally or written. I am not on the lease. This man went to the credit bureau with no evidence and lowered my credit score by XXXX points. This is outrageous that a citizen can arbitrarily lower another person 's credit score at will. I feel my civil rights have been violated and these people need to answer for it.
