Attorney XXXX XXXX has been sending several threatening foreclosure letters before the date granted by her client XXXX XXXX XXXX HOA for the amount of {$780.00} due no later than XX/XX/XXXX. This payment was paid in full sent on XX/XX/XXXX USPS certified returned mail and was available for pickup XX/XX/XXXX. My check # XXXX {$780.00} was endorsed by XXXX XXXX XXXX HOA president XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX HOA dues. I explained to XXXX XXXX that I have a statement from XXXX XXXX XXXX HOA with due date XX/XX/XXXX {$780.00}. She stated her letter dated XX/XX/XXXX for {$820.00} due by XX/XX/XXXX superseded XXXX XXXX XXXX HOA letter dated XX/XX/XXXX for {$780.00} due by XX/XX/XXXX. I am not an attorney but it seems against the law for XXXX companies to collect on the same debt and I believe XXXX XXXX is in violation of the FDCPA. I do believe Attorney XXXX XXXX should have waited after XX/XX/XXXX to start her legal proceeding which would have been understandable. However, Attorney XXXX XXXX continued her collection efforts on a difference of {$44.00} without verifying the accuracy of the debt. To make matters worse, on XX/XX/XXXX I received a voicemail from Attorney XXXX XXXX illegally disclosing that XXXX XXXX XXXX received my payment but she is still collecting on the balance of {$120.00} and that needs to be paid to prevent her from putting a lien of foreclosure on my home. To my understanding XXXX minus XXXX equals XXXX not XXXX. I also received XXXX more letters threatening foreclosure letters from Attorney XXXX XXXX demanding {$390.00} by XX/XX/XXXX and {$760.00} by XX/XX/XXXX. At this time, I have sent Attorney XXXX XXXX a certified letter disputing this debt. I feel I am being harassed by Attorney XXXX XXXX on a debt that was paid in full by the timeframe given by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At this time, I am in need of your assistance to stop the Law Offices of Stage and Associates, P.A. XXXX XXXX from placing a foreclosure lien on my home and to stop her aggressive attempt on collecting on a debt that I feel I do not owe. I have a copy of all documents mention above and my saved voice mail from XXXX XXXX.
