A garnishment attached to my payroll check in XX/XX/XXXX and paid in full in XX/XX/XXXX based on the payroll record. The attorney ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) reinstated the garnishment XX/XX/XXXX stating he never received all of the payments. He stated that payments were only made to him up until XX/XX/XXXX. My employer ( XXXX ) has not provided requested information showing me who the payments were made to and when. The attorney refuses to go to the courthouse to check to see if the payments are there and have not been applied. He stated he checked the electronic records and they were not there and the only way to know if there were received and not applied ( which he said the court does ) was to go to the courthouse. I asked him how soon he would be going to the courthouse and his reply was " not for 3 or 4 months ''.
