The law offices of Alan R. Mege Attorney ID # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX XXXX has purchased my debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the debt originated with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The law offices of Alan R. Mege are now trying to sue me in small claims court for the amount owed on the debt however under the original consumer leasing agreement which he is using as exhibit A in his case it clearly states this is not permitted in the binding arbitration agreement and reads as follows " You and we agree that any claim or dispute arising from or in any way related to the agreement must be resolved by binding arbitration in the state where you live instead of a lawsuit ''. I was never even offered the arbitration as an option nor received any communications from the law firm to set up any such arbitration. Secondly Alan R. Mege is in violation of the fair debt collection practices act which states that the debt collector can not collect any amount of money that is not authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. Because there is no agreement between myself ( alleged debtor ) and the collector ( The Law offices of Alan R. Mege ) no collection can be sustained. His complaint is for the amount of {$1100.00} plus a {$750.00} legal fee the original debt dates back to XX/XX/XXXX. I am hoping you can assist me with this issue as the law firm is the 5th owner of this debt and as mentioned above not entitled to collect these monies thank you in advance for your help and feel free to contact me for further information if needed.
