On or about XX/XX/2019, I received a collection letter threatening to sue me. That letter was dated XX/XX/2019. I contacted the collections law firm Farmar Law Group fka Law Offices of Rory W. Clark on or about XX/XX/2019. I spoke with attorney, XXXX XXXX. I negotiated a payment plan and received an e-mail confirming the payment schedule on XX/XX/2019 from XXXX XXXX. My first payment must be received by XX/XX/2019. XXXX XXXX discussed the payment options. I was told that there would be no lawsuit filed against me. On XX/XX/2019 I deposited cash ( {$200.00} ) into the law firm 's checking account. The same day, I received an e-mail from XXXX XXXX confirming receipt of my first payment. Then on XX/XX/2019, I received a third party notice from a court lawsuit monitor that a lawsuit was filed against me from Farmar Law Group. I went to the XXXX XXXX Superior Court website and they did indeed file a lawsuit against me on XX/XX/2019. I have received no response from the attorney XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2019, I called Farmar Law Group and initially they said it was an error and that someone would call me back. I called again and the same lady that answered said that the lawsuit was valid. I am attaching my evidence. XXXX XXXX XXXX is not licensed in California to practice law. I checked the California State Bar website and his license is listed as inactive. The bank account for this firm is in his name.

I received a form letter with a date stamp of XX/XX/2021 from a law firm/debt collector I do not know and had never been contacted by. The letter is not signed. I received the letter on Friday afternoon, XX/XX/2021, of the holiday weekend. I only had to time to type a letter and send registered mail to the law firm. I do not recognize the credit card company. The letter is threatening and harassing, further more the law firm caused duress by sending the letter the afternoon of a holiday weekend, when no one could be contacted.
If indeed the letter is correct, and the amount is owed, I made an offer to the law firm of {$10.00} per month as I am on widow 's benefits.
I am enclosing the form letter from the law firm FarMar Law Group , PC, the envelope with the postal stamp of XX/XX/2021, and my registered letter to the law firm.
I also sent a fax copy of the letter to the law firm as well.
I was not afforded 30 days to respond to the threats of a lawsuit. I have never been contacted by FarMar Law Group , PC, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX.

XXXX XXXX XXXX, has placed a lien on my home through their attorney in California Rory W. Clark, I never received a notice informing of a court appearance or lawsuit. My original debt amount is for {$3000.00} they are asking for {$10000.00}. I have called them to XXXX XXXX XXXX and the Law Offices of Rory W. Clark to negotiate to resolve this debt they refuse. XXXX will only deal with me through their attorney. The representative I spoke with at the law office of Rory W. Clark is XXXX XXXX. I am a XXXX XXXX year old woman living on a fixed income. I feel that XXXX XXXX is using the law to intimidate to pay a debt, that is well above the amount of money I actually owe. How is this legal there should be a law against this.

I recently received a noticed from FarMar Law Group who is representing XXXX XXXX whose parent company is XXXX XXXX. The noticed states that I have a settlement against me and Im not sure why this is happening.
In the early XXXX I received letters from XXXXXXXX XXXX regarding an outstanding debt. I contacted XXXX via telephone asking them to mail me all the paperwork proving that I owed XXXX XXXX and the contract I had signed with XXXX XXXX regarding the debt owed. I never received any correspondence from XXXX on my request and now Im receiving this notice. I know that XXXX XXXX and its parent company XXXX XXXX is being sued by the CFPB because of its tactics.

Sunday night the XXXX of XXXX when the process server asked for me at my apt., upon my flatmate XXXX XXXX refusal of acceptance the process server said " XXXX is being sued by XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and the process server dropped the stapled summons ( no envelope ) face up flat on the doormat.
AGAIN : Improper contact and sharing of info. My flatmate was advised of the content by the process server and had opportunity to read it. XXXX now is concerned I can not pay the rent and is planning to move out into a more stable living arrangement depriving me of needed income. This is a tort of economic interference.
