In XXXX, I bought a second-hand car in the state of XXXX, this car had a manufacturing defect and abs problems, after a few months of observing the problem with the car I wanted to return it to the dealer but they told me that I could no longer do nothing and they treated me in a threatening manner. In less than six months this car presented an imperfect that I had to pay with more than {$3500.00} ( I have proof ), in XXXX I moved to the state of XXXX where I had an accident ( it was not my fault ), and the car presented again problems with the abs. I decided to return it and explain to XXXX XXXX that I can't afford the repair or pay for it and it's not safe for my life. In XXXX I received a letter from the XXXX Carls Brugnoli Law Office. They sent me an appointment to court where I attended. I indicated the situation there. I had no further communication. This week I received a letter from this lawyer indicating that he had copies of my arrest papers, but if he did not call him to discuss the debt. This situation is worrying since I am a person with medical problems and I pay for my health and this person causes me physical and mental damage.

On XX/XX/2023 I received a letter in the mail from debt collector Carl Brugnoli, Esquire about a debt of {$3300.00} to XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The letter states that the office of Car Brugnoli has a capias warrant for my arrest if I do not contact their office and make payment within ten days. This is my first contact with this office and no other information regarding my rights to information or option to dispute was given. The initial debt is from over 20 years ago and I have not heard anything about this debt or made payments in over 10 years. This debt is undoubtedly time-barred and I have not been served nor failed to appear in court to justify the capias warrant threat. This letter is most certainly a scare-tactic with the intent of partial payment to to renew the case from being time-barred and legal leverage. Furthermore, with this letter being the first and only contact with this firm, the attorney neglected to inform me of my rights in the matter.
