On XX/XX/2018 at XXXX XXXX I spoke with a young lady by the name of XXXX. I informed XXXX of my financial hardship which pertained to my XXXX-year-old daughter 's health. XXXX explained that I would need to speak with XXXX their office manager. Upon speaking with XXXX she stated that her company required her to notify me that my vehicle was up for repossession, how I asked my payment isn't even 30days late. Nor had I received a RTC which is required in the state of South Carolina. XXXX didn't ask me what was causing my delinquency or hardship she just wanted to discuss the money. Keep in mind at this point my account was not even 30 days behind. I was approximately 21 days past due and was calling to make the payment arrangement for the next day. After speaking with XXXX I was put back on the phone with XXXX to make the arrangement. At this point I requested that XXXX place a note on my account the XXXX was not to communicate with me again. Anyone else who needed to communicate with me could call but XXXX due to her unprofessional demeanor was not to call me. I continued to make payments to the company and have not been 30 days late. On XX/XX/2018 at XXXX XXXX. I received a text message from a number that I didn't recognize. It stated " Please call XXXX to avoid legal action. I recognized the number in the message as Laurens Financial, however, the number it was sent from was XXXX. I blocked my number and called the number from the text and found that it was an employee 's ( XXXX ) personal cell phone. Due to the stress of dealing with my daughter 's illness and constant doctors appointments, I do not need to be threatened or harassed in a demeaning manner. It is difficult enough for me to make these payments without feeling like I am or being treated like I am XXXX or trash. These practices are inexcusable and should be taken seriously. This company is using threat tactics and personal cell phones to communicate with customers. I have found under the CFPB and also the South Carolina Department of Insurance and Consumer Finance that these practices are illegal and a violation of my consumer rights. Please help me avoid these unfair practices. I have the text message saved in my cell phone and also the digital memo of the date requested for no contact from XXXX.

LAURENS FINANCIAL IS REPORTING REPOSSESS AND FULL BALANCE WITH THE CAR THEY NEVER POSSESSED ... ... ... I owned a car purchased through XXXX XXXX XXXX paid off.i took a loan for XXXX I made two on time payments then the transmission went out and it was no longer reliable.i was going to continue to pay my loan monthly but they said I had to still keep insurance on the car which was XXXX and still make loan payments in which I couldn't afford to having to get another car.so I told them come get the car and they did.its been a year now and they said they haven't sold car but have the full loan amount on my credit report 1691 and they have the car.they putting it as a repossession on my credit report even it was my car paid for.i didn't finance a car from them only a loan of XXXX using as a collateral.i don't under stand how they reporting full balance and they have the car.its was my car from start so no repossession went on.i thought them getting the car would clear loan but it show full balance and repossession on my report in which it was my car all along before loan.so they never had car you can't repossess when you never possessed.
