On XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a car from Larry H. Miller XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The loan officer that I worked with was XXXX XXXX. XXXX let me know that we would be doing a loan with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. He stated that with bundling in an extended warranty and gap insurance, XXXX had a deal to extend the loan period by a few month and not change the interest rate. I had to tell him approximately five times that I did not want or need the extended warrant or gap insurance. At this point, XXXX started printing off documents to sign stating the amount of car, ect. I did not see anything about an interest rate on these documents or the lender. XXXX also did not mention that we were signing documents for that. He then stated he placed scan copies of all of the documents on a flash drive and handed me the flash drive. I still have the blank flashdrive. It will show that files were never on it if you run a file recovery. Approximately two weeks later, I get a letter from XXXX XXXX to congratulate me on the loan I got with them. This was concerning to me since I had not been told that I would be getting a loan with them. I created an online account to check out the interest rate since I still at this point was not aware of the rate. I was shocked to see that the rate was 5.64 %. I was shocked because the credit score they pulled was XXXX. I went to review the documents on the flashdrive I had to see if there was an explanation. The flashdrive had no files saved to it. I called XXXX XXXX to see if they could tell me how I got such a high interest rate. They told me to call the dealership since they just go off of the information that they received. I called the dealership on XX/XX/XXXX. They wanted me to speak with XXXX again. XXXX was not available. I was told that he would call me back that day. I left my name and number. I did not get a call back. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told that I needed to speak to XXXX but he was not in until XXXX. I called again after XXXX was in. He was not available. I left my name and number again. He did give me a call back this time. I told him that the flash drive was blank. He did not apologize. He stated that he always double checks to them before he give them to customers. I then asked why the loan was with XXXX XXXX. He said I was declined with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked who else he applied with and what the rates were. He told me XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and another bank. I know these are not all of the places that the dealership works with. I know they are also the ones that have higher interest rates. I went into the dealership on XX/XX/XXXX to get copies of what I signed. XXXX once again did not apologize that I had to take time out of my day to come in to get them. He also did not apologize for calling me a liar when I brought it to his attention that the flashdrive was blank. Prior we had not discussed how much I wanted to pay per month. XXXX stated to me that I should be good because the payment was about what I wanted to pay each month. I took the physical copies and left. When I got home, I had a letter in the mail from the dealership stating that my license plates were available to pick up. This was not mentioned when I was there earlier in the day. My phone number was on file and I did not receive a phone call or text to notify me either. I went back to dealership and picked up the plates. The dealership is 25 minutes from my house. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to validate that I was declined. I was not declined with them. They had offered me an interest rate of 3.29 % but did not receive any follow up documents from the dealership. I then called the dealership department at XXXX XXXX. They confirmed that they do offer incentives to loan officers at Larry H Miller XXXX XXXX XXXX. Because I do not work for the dealership, they would not provide how much of an incentive was provided. This means that XXXX knowingly went with a higher interest loan and got some sort of compensation from XXXX XXXX without talking to me about this. I called the dealership back on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked to speak with the manager of dealership of the manager over the finance department. XXXX stated that was him. He did not provide a last name. I explained the situation. He then offered me copies of the documents. In explaining to him what happened, I had told him that I picked up physical copies. He then stated he was not there so he did not know why the lender was changed. I said that he can check with XXXX and call me back. He then stated that I was not listening and he did not feel like he should help me. I told him that he should help when XXXX had been deceptive. He told me I should not use the word deceptive. I told him again to find out what happened from XXXX and call me back. He did not take my phone number. I have been called a XXXX. I have been told that I would not be helped. I have spent hours trying to get this fixed. In the end, this deceptive bait and switch that has been pulled will unfairly cost me a lot of money in extra interest. I trusted Larry H Miller XXXX to have my best interest in mind when helping me with the financing portion of the purchase. They did not.

I am a XXXX, with XXXX children. I am the sole support of my family and I live an hour away from the dealership where I purchased y XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX During the sales process the salsman used his voucher to reduce my price on a bumper to bumper warranty, that also included road side assistance. Documents were signed and the transaction was completed. XXXX XXXX, XXXX I get a letter that stated my car did not have a safety inspection ... this was six days before the temporary tag expired. I took time off work on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to get the safety inspection completed .... two hours siting at the dealership to be told that the car didn'tpass inspection due to tail lights not working. They said that they did n't have the bulbs on hand. That I would need to come back- I asked what they could do about my expired tags- the service tech sent me on my way ... with expired tags, a car with no tail lights. I had missed work and I was at risk to be stopped or get a ticket ... or worse. Plus I had the inconvenience of needing to come back and miss more work When I got home that night, i had another letter about the car not having a safety certificate. So I called and left a message that I would turn the dealership in to the consumer protection reporters on the local news. The next day I asked my boyfriend to take the car back to the dealership ... XXXX it took 20 minutes for them to fix the bulbs and e given a XXXX XXXX number for the license place that was being delivered ... They has sent a license plate for a car that didnt have tail lights. XXXX XXXX, I was unable to start my car .... i got a jump start and went to work, hoping that whatever was wrong would n't leave me stranded. I was able to get home all right that evening. but the next morning, I could n't get my car to start again .... I got another jump staart and went to XXXX and bought a new battery. The guy at XXXX installed it, so i knew it was done right. I got around to do my errands just fine. I went to the zoo that afternoon with my company. At XXXXXXXX XXXX., it was dark and raining, and the car would n't start ... I tried a jump start from a coworker, and it still would n't start. So I attempted to use the road side assistance on the warranty, but the car started the next time we attempted to jump start. the next morning, i took the car to XXXX to be hooked up to the machine and test what was wrong .... The battery was running at 14 Volts and the Alternator was running at 14.5 .... exactly as they should be and no other codes were coming up. For all purposes, the car was fine. The next morning, I was stranded again .... The car would n't start and it could n't be jumped. So I called the dealership to find out how the warranty worked. I was advised by the service representative that I did not have a warranty ... I had a service contract for oil changes and tire rotations. I asked why would I do that when going to thier location was so inconvenient for me .... I had a paper that said I had a comprehensive warranty. I was referred to XXXX XXXX XXXX, the company hat serviced the warranty. When I called there, I was told that the comprehensive warranty had been entered and then reversed ... XXXX that usually happens when there is an issue with financing. I have financing ... everything is being paid and I still had a document that said I had a a warranty that I paid for as part of the loan. I was referred back to Larry H. Miller to sort out what happened. When I called back to the dealership where I talked to a finance Manager named XXXX, who told me that he could see the warranty was processed properly. He told me he would have his contact at XXXX XXXX XXXX look into the matter ... XXXX but he has never called back. When I call to check the status, I am transferred around or given the voicemail of someone that is not involved with the matter. This is a classic case of bait and switch. I feel taken advantage of because I am a woman, a widow and live an inconvenient distance from the dealership.

My daughter and son-in-law wanted to purchase a more recent model year vehicle since the vehicle they were in was old and unreliable/unsafe for their new baby. They attended car dealer Larry H. Miller 's Used Car tent sale on XX/XX/2019 for XXXX XXXX, at the XXXX expo center. They found a vehicle that they liked but due to having no credit score ( no debt or credit history ) they needed a co-signer. I drove to the tent sale on XX/XX/2019 to co-sign the loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It was hot and stuffy and very busy with long lines of people waiting to close on their loans. This made Mr. XXXX hurry to rush along the paperwork signing. At no time while we were signing documents did the Finance Manager, XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX, disclose that due to this being an indirect loan that I would be the primary lendee, and not my daughter and son-in-law, ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX ). After the paperwork was finalized Mr. XXXX told us he would send the final loan documents via email. As of XX/XX/2019 we have not received the final loan documents. When the loan was originated with XXXX it showed up on my account, but not on my daughter and son-in-laws account. When the dealership was called to inquire why XXXX XXXX and XXXX did not have access to this loan on their XXXX account we were told that LHM Dealership submitted the paperwork correctly and the fault was on XXXX. When I spoke with Ms. XXXX XXXX, Indirect Lending Manager for XXXX, she explained that XXXX has a rule that the person with the credit score and credit history that signs for the loan is the primary. According to Ms. XXXX the only way to have the loan show on my daughter and son in law 's account is for them to be the primary loan holder. The only way this is possible, per Ms. XXXX, is to go to an XXXX branch and apply for a direct loan. Due to this misrepresentation and failure to disclose this fact by Mr. XXXX at LHM Auto Finance, My daughter and son in law must now come back to Utah from Idaho to re-apply for a car loan and we must all re-sign paperwork, and my credit will be pulled yet again ... If the difference between indirect and direct loans had been disclosed at the time of purchase we would have chosen to go to an XXXX branch to secure a direct loan. I called Mr. XXXX and he claimed that he had told us that I was the primary. Funny how 3 adults signing paperwork all heard differently. When I sat down with Mr. XXXX, I said, " I am here to co-sign on a car loan ''. He never batted an eye or stated anything contrary to that. I called LHM and spoke to the General Sales Manager, Mr. XXXX XXXX. He told me the reason I was the primary on the loan was because I was the one with the credit score and if I wasn't the primary, my daughter and son in law would pay a higher loan rate. Ms. XXXX contradicted that statement. Mr. XXXX also said he didn't know what I wanted him to do about it. I am not sure if this is a TILA violation but LHM Finance Manager XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX failed to disclose the difference between an indirect and direct loan, so we did not have all of the information to make an educated and informed decision. Their handling of this situation has been unprofessional, lacked any customer service and misrepresented the terms and type of loan we believed we signed. I have attached a copy on an email I sent to Mr. XXXX and Mr. XXXX at Larry H. Miller Auto.

To whom it may concern, I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Colorado on XX/XX/2018. The salesperson, XXXX, was extremely helpful and professional. XXXX, one of the finance managers helped with the transaction during the sale and was also helpful. Although I did not agree with the amount of trade in value on my XXXX, I accepted the deal and went on to sign paperwork with XXXX in finance. This is where the issues started. I have an XXXX credit score and he showed me a rate of 6.6 % on a new vehicle. In the past, I've been in the low 3 % range and I couldn't believe this rate. I asked him multiple times if this is the best rate possible and he stated Yes, it is. He kept saying that because I was upside down on the trade in, this is the best he could do. I had a feeling this was not the case. We then went on to discuss the aftermarket warranty. I let him know my Father in law was a Finance manager in MInnesota and I would go through him on the warranty. He then went on to say if I didn't purchase this warranty now, it is not possible to get a warranty later, meaning you have to buy it now, and that you must purchase the warranty from the seller ( XXXX XXXX ). Again, I thought this was incorrect. Keep in mind, I always consult with my Father in Law about these things but it was XXXX at night in Colorado and too late in MN. That being said, I went through with the purchase. I woke up multiple times overnight, which I rarely do, with a bad feeling. This was a bad deal and I got swindled. I called my Father in law in the morning and discussed the details. He was unhappy with the way this dealership operated, to say the least. I then called XXXX XXXX to say I would be returning the vehicle because I was blatantly lied to multiple times in the sales process. I liked the XXXX but the unethical nature I had the issue with. I calmed down a bit, and went through the details with XXXX, another finance employee at the dealership. She apologized up and down, went in a got the rate down in the mid 4 's, which I was okay with. If I would not have called that day and explained my disappointment and unhappiness with the process, it would have cost me thousands of dollars in the long run. A car buying experience is stressful enough as it is. This blatant disregard for the truth is appalling and unacceptable. If I was lied to that easily, how many others have been lied to? I still think the deal is just okay and feel like I've lost money and am unhappy with the experience. But again, this is terrible business practice and I'm not so sure it's limited to one person. Why would they feel comfortable about lying? XXXX was a young man with a lot to lose, so is this coming from the top, down? My gut says yes. This should absolutely be investigated and am also curious what they can do to make my experience with this dealership make me want to come back to do business again. I buy multiple cars every couple of years and at this point, and will never go back to this dealership for a car. As a XXXX XXXX myself, I operate with integrity and believe all people should. If I owned or managed this dealership, I would want to know about this.

On XX/XX/2019, went to Larry H Miller used car supermarket of XXXX to trade in my XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. We talked and haggled for about 3 hours and after running my credit ( XXXX has record of this as well ) I had a XXXX credit score and the salesman ( XXXX ) said that with that credit score I would be getting financing through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, with an interest rate around 10 %, payments close to XXXX and qualified for there no payments for 90 days. ( Summer special XXXX XXXX verified that this was offered to people with my credit score ) however it was a Saturday and he said he would call Monday to have me come in and sign the documents. I was put off and passed around for approximately 35-40 days before I contacted the MVED and was given to investigator XXXX XXXX. He got them moving and within 5 more days the loan was ready. However during this whole process they never paid off my trade in so I was getting blown up by my prior finance company for the XXXX, which the company ended up calling the dealership and forcing them to pay it off finally. Then I asked for my plates and they said they were still waiting from the DMV. Over the next 2 months they continued to put me off to the point I had to park the truck due to not having plates or a temp tag AND my car insurance dumped my truck for it not being in my name. Now I don't have insurance and they won't take me back at the great rate I had because of it and it's XX/XX/2019 AND STILL NO PLATES! then I started getting calls from XXXX XXXX around XX/XX/2019 saying I was 3 payments behind because I never got the 90 day special. I told them that it couldn't be since I had XXXX credit. They proceeded to tell me that the loan documents submitted to the on XX/XX/2019 said my credit was XXXX and I was past due and near repossession. I looked up my profile on XXXX and found a total of 8 hard pulls 2 of which were Larry H Miller. ( Once on XX/XX/XXXX and once on XX/XX/XXXX ) so they ran the crap out of my credit over 30 days then reran it through the dealership and gave me a terrible loan that is XXXX dollars a month more expensive than was a agreed upon. And now in order to get insurance put back on it will go up to XXXX from XXXX a month for the truck.. the truck I couldn't even drive for the last 2 months. Oh and the trucks brakes were warped from day 1. I would have noticed exceot the engine brake was turned up to cover it. ( They have already agreed to repair these free of charge. ) This has screwed up my credit, finances and stressed my family out to no end not to mention I am dealing with severe health issues right now. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and a bunch of other problems. This is totally unfair and not what I agreed upon and now it may force me and my family to lose everything over it. All I wanted was a nice truck for a fair price. And those criminals continue to XXXX me around because I am a nobody and I can't do anything about it. Please help me right these wrongs. If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with me. Thank you.

My father went to purchase a vehicle from Larry H miller XXXX. My father was assisting me in getting a vehicle due to my bad credit from a recent divorce. We purchased a XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and signed the agreement for {$370.00} a month. I then received a call from the finance manager a few days later advising me that the finance company had come back and the new amount would be {$410.00} a month and that we either " take it or leave it ''. We advised we no longer wanted the vehicle and the finance manager verbally agreed to release my father from the vehicle. We went in the next day to return the vehicle and they declined because the finance manager that verbally agreed was not in that day. We then came to the agreement that they would call us the next morning immediately to advise us of XXXX schedule. They never called us and a few days went by. We waited 3 days for their call and that Saturday morning the vehicle was stolen out of my driveway. We went to the dealership that day to see what would happen with the vehicle and XXXX spoke to us and told us that the financing for the vehicle had gone thru on XX/XX/XXXX and that it was our vehicle. After speaking with him for close to an hr, there was no resolution and we were treated like dirt. We then filed a claim with the insurance company and on XX/XX/XXXX we received a certified letter from the dealership that the financing had not gone thru. This was 6 days after we had gone into the dealership and they had guaranteed that the financing was done and was with the bank. The reason I feel that they pulled the financing again after advising us it was complete was because there is an addition that the dealership puts in place in the contract that states if someone either steals your identity or your vehicle is stolen, they would cut a check of {$5000.00}. I feel they pulled the financing so they could get out of paying that amount to my father. This dealership violated multiple regulations. First, I am not on the agreement or on any documents regarding the purchase of the vehicle, however the dealership had no issues advising myself over the phone of the interest rate, payment amount and terms without discussing them with my father who was the one purchasing the vehicle. Secondly, we were unaware until after looking up the laws that it is illegal to sell a vehicle to someone with open knowledge that they are purchasing the vehicle for a third party with no intent to use or own the vehicle. The finance manager even told us while we were talking about the payments, that if they asked, the vehicle was for him and not for me. As a consumer, my father had no idea that was not allowed but due to the dealership openly knowing that and still allowing us to purchase the vehicle, the were in violation and sold the vehicle under fraudulent terms.

I was contacted by XXXX at Larry H Miller XXXX in XXXX AZ on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating that they may be able to get me into a new vehicle or better financing on my vehicle. I set an appointment for the weekend and selected a XXXX XXXX. I had negative equity in my XXXX XXXX. I was presented with terms for the new XXXX and was not comfortable with the payment. Upon a 2nd review by their financing department, the all of the sudden realized I still had equity in the warranty they sold me on the vehicle I was trading in. They were able to use this equity along with increasing how much they would give me for a trade to get me to a payment I agreed with. I was told by the salesman, XXXX, this would be my financing. It was explained to me that the way XXXX does their financing is they take your score and put it into brackets, whatever that bracket you fall into is what your rate and financing is. I signed financial documents including a truth in lending statement, power of attorney for the vehicle I was trading in and documents with my rate, terms, finance company name, payment and payment due date. These documents also include a breakdown of all fees, payoff of previous vehicle and services being financed. I signed these documents with XXXX and asked so if you guys cant do better, this is it and were done? No one is going to call and need more money? He assured me this was it but he didnt handle my type of loans so another person whos really good with old bankruptcies will see if he can do better. If they were able to get better financing I was going to go back XXXX morning and resign new documents with the new financing. I did not hear back from XXXX, XXXX. I left a message with the receptionist, XXXX on XXXX afternoon and did not hear back. I called XXXX and reached, XXXX in the financing department. Expecting to hear they were unable to do better then XXXX XXXX, XXXX instead told me that I need either a co-signer or {$4500.00}. XXXX apologized and said its only about 1 out of 100 customers this happens too. That sounds like a lot of people they have been doing this to when you consider theyre one of the largest dealerships in the state. I provided a co-signer. I received a call today, XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX saying the co-signer is not enough and I would need the {$4500.00}. I am not being told I need to return the vehicle and take mine back. I was also told I will not be charged anything for the vehicle I have to return. I have not been told what happens to the {$500.00} doc fee I had to leave with them for electronic withdrawal. I am also contacting the FTC and our local media.

Purchased a vehicle from XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX replaced transmission, I was advised by the service person they had left the old wave plate on and attached the new transmission. XX/XX/XXXX my check engine light came on by XX/XX/XXXX failed my emission test due to the check engine light ; carried papers from emission for the service to sign for the light to be overridden which lasted long enough for me to pass emission. Light came back on no sooner than I parked in my drive way. From this point with no assistance from XXXX service department was OFFERED to get the car diagnosed. For the recommended tire/battery/steering rack/coolant yes they were all denied. MY ISSUE WAS THE CHECK ENGING LIGHT PERIOD. I was told to record or video if the car starts to do anything. Finally was able to do this when I let the service guys there see this clip I was told all I needed was a battery. Shortly after I found a hole in the manifold intake value which was suppose to have been fixed. To this date service guys has lied about the many times I came to get something done about the issue ; gave date of when they say the car was diagnosed at XXXX, which is records of one time the car was there after transmission replacement. Yes they are to this point call me a liar because I declined a battery and tires etc. On XX/XX/XXXX the heater hose failed due to the check engine light was already on I had no warning. Car towed to garage, now they are saying short block part of the engine failure to a bad to worst situation now service denied warranty. The car sat unrepaired for 60 days, XX/XX/XXXX I removed my personal belongs and found a open container of antifreeze, OK on the floor of the car where my grandchildren would be sitting, " yes the service department put that there ''. I wish it could have been dusted for fingerprints ; my prints would not be on the container. The dealership wanted me to pay {$3500.00} to fix the car. NO WAY. I made a decision to surrender the car back I guess the only satisfaction I will get from this the car was in my BKO do n't owe a dime! I am still thinking on this issue because there was no REASON FOR SERVICE TO BE DENIED..MANUAL SAYS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GET TO YOUR NEAREST SERVICE DEPARTMEMT. I did all I was suppose to do I tried honestly to get service. Who knows customer does not have to lie about a broken car, just can not drive it either.

On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NM XXXX. Through their website I applied for an auto loan for a used car. A short time later I received a call from XXXX XXXX. XXXX said he was employed in the Finance department at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. He said " You 're approved for an auto loan '' with us. He mentioned payment amounts with a wide range. Since I had not yet specified a vehicle, I could not figure out how he could quote me payment amounts. Regardless, I told him I would review the financing offer, continue looking at this inventory, and let him know. After several hours when I had not gotten the financing offer, I reached out to XXXX XXXX again via email to find out what the delay was. I received no answer. The next day when I still had gotten nothing, I reached out to my salesperson, XXXX regarding the financing offer. She responded that she would have XXXX XXXX send me the correct info. He did n't. Since the date on which I applied for credit, and today, its ' been more than 10 days. During that time I have requested the specifics on the financing no less than 12 times!!! I have asked verbally on the phone, via email from both XXXX and XXXX and via their chat service. As of now I have NEVER gotten anything verbally or in writing to tell me what the results of my application for an auto loan was. As of this morning I have stopped trying to obtain this information from the dealer and have elected to file complaints regarding their deceptive and illegal financing practices. As far as I am aware, whenever a consumer in the USA applies for credit, they are to be provided, upon request, the information related to the outcome of the application. If denied, there must be a way to request the reason for the denial. If approved, the consumer must be provided with the information to make an informed decision, i.e. interest rates, financing company, additional fees if any, etc. NONE of that information has been provided despite more than a dozen requests to do so. Please feel free to contact me for any additional questions or info you need to move forward with this complaint. I can provide copies of the emails we have exchanged back and forth with my numerous unanswered requests for information. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

This dealership is the reason the CFPB was formed given their multiple violations of consumer law during our experience on XX/XX/2018. During the negotiation process for a new vehicle we were forced to execute what was indicated to be a required compliance document several times, yet when they tried to reintroduce fees we had already requested be eliminated for ancillary products and services they were unable to produce the previous versions of this required compliance documentation. We left the dealership for two hours while they supposedly shopped our credit with financial institutions. They indicated with a strong credit profile we should expect 3.88 % or better, however, when we sat down to sign final documents and immediately requested that we first confirm our loan APR term, it was indicated to be 4.49 %, even with a 850+ middle FICO score and more than 30 % down. When we questioned this rate we were told the APR is determined before you get to my department but I think I have a coupon that could get you a better rate P if you are willing to open a new account at a credit union. We declined and they were not able to produce the approved rates they received for us at any other institutions, even though they indicated earlier we would be an ideal fit for their lender partner XXXX that specialized in 800+ FICO borrowers. It was an indication to us the dealership & /or manager was receiving an incentive to try and place our loan with the 4.49 % institution they did even though it was not the best qualifying rate for our loan terms. They hadnt even shopped our great credit with their parent XXXX even though there was an active promotion for 3.86APR for well qualified buyers for our specific vehicle and our preferred 60-month loan term. When we inquired as to why, the manager indicated they were unaware of the promotion and a second manager indicated our FICO didnt mean we would get that rate because XXXX may not like our credit profile.

1. Purchasing my XXXX XXXX XXXX Truck at the end of a 3 year lease. 2. Negotiating a purchase agreement. 3. The lease agreement was on XXXX for $ XXXX/month for 38 months and endsXX/XX/2019. At the lease signing the salesman told me if I wanted to purchase the truck when the lease ended the monthly payment would be about the same, more or less. Monday XX/XX/XXXX my wife and I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership in XXXX, UT. to find out what kind of purchase deal we could work out. We talked to Salesman XXXX, and Sales Manager XXXX ' who presented us with $ XXXX {$510.00} per month for 84 months. We told them we were on a budget and we couldn't swing that kind of deal, and they said can you put any money down? We said no because we were on a budget so it would have to be XXXX down. They said sorry, that's all we can do for you, I asked what about the {$10000.00} we put down at the lease signing, where did that go? They said it went to the residual cost of the truck, so we would be out that money if we didn't buy the truck. We decided to think about it for a few days and I returned with my son on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX to talk to the General Manager XXXX along with the Sales Manager XXXX ' to see if we could try and make a deal but the answer was the same as before. XXXX was very arrogant and aloof in his manor and asked my son if he new anything about math and my son said yes I know it very well, I work at a Financial Institution and super- vise many agents, then XXXX stood up and said I guess we are not going to get anywhere here, like we were wasting his time, so we left. For nearly 7 years I have had a truck loan with Rally Motor Credit at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX Phone # XXXX. It has always reported correctly until XX/XX/2019 and now the loan shows removed from my credit report. This is seriously a problem that it has been removed as I only owe apx : {$1300.00} left on the loan. I have reached out to the company let my rep know of the issue then about 3 weeks later I had a woman XXXX XXXX send me an email asking for a copy of the information on my credit report showing the account had been removed she was very rude in her email and threatened me stating that I had a certain amount of time to respond or she would close the dispute. I screen shotted my credit report with the requested info showing that the account for Rally Motor Credit had been removed from my credit report the same day and sent it to her. I was not very nice about the fact that she had threatened me when this is their mistake. I sent this info on XX/XX/2019. I have not heard back from her at all in 2 weeks. Today I reached out telling them that they have still not gotten back to me and that the account is still not showing on my credit report. I only got a response from my account rep XXXX XXXX stating that I need to contact the credit reporting agencies and deal with the problem with them. I have a huge issue with this due to the fact that it is not the credit reporting agencies mistake it is the companies mistake and they should be the ones to correct this as I have already spent so much of my valuable time to try to get this fixed. I still have not heard back from XXXX. This is fraud and should have been dealt with in a professional manner by Rally Motor Credit.

On XX/XX/XXXX I went into the car dealership ( Larry H Miller Group of Companies specifically XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX, Arizona ) to inquire about purchasing a vehicle. I worked with XXXX XXXX and was denied due to not having any established credit history but was told that XXXX would " look around '' to see if anyone would loan me the money to purchase a vehicle ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) On Sunday XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX called me back and informed me that he found a bank that would accept me as a borrower and I needed to go to the dealership to sign paperwork. Me and XXXX discussed how much I would be able to afford per month and I informed XXXX that I would like to spend around {$300.00} per month and XXXX indicated the only way I'd be able to get the car would be to pay {$450.00} a month which I informed XXXX that I couldn't really afford that cost but I needed a car so I agreed. At the time I was unaware the borrow was through the dealership itself. I feel like I was a victim to predatory lending as I felt pressured to come to the dealership because I was informed that I would not have been able to get a loan from anywhere else because of my lack of credit history. I was given a loan with a 20 % interest rate with a 72 month term from XXXX XXXX through the dealership ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I borrowed the amount of {$18000.00}. During this purchasing agreement, I was also sold a Total Care Auto warranty ( Guarantee Auto Protection ) for {$790.00}, which I feel like I was taken advantage of based on my race, age, lack of experience purchasing a vehicle and was sold on a product when they knew I was being charged at such a high-interest rate that they could take advantage of me.

On XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I were subjected to predatory lending practices at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Idaho. We agreed to purchase a XXXX XXXX XXXX at this dealer. We had specifically agreed to financing the vehicle through a 60-month contract with $ XXXX/month payment, and a {$5000.00} downpayment. The sales person who had helped us to this point, XXXX XXXX, brought a paper indicating these terms and we signed it. Shortly afterward, we were introduced to the finance manager, XXXX XXXX, who would provide the closing documents. He advertised additional insurance coverage ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in the amount of $ XXXX/mo, raising our payment to $ XXXX/month. He did not at any time mention this would entail an extension in loan length, as we would not have agreed to such terms. In the final documents XXXX XXXX produced, he extended the duration of the loan to 66 months without consulting with my husband or I. We did not immediately see the change and signed the final documents. The change in loan duration that XXXX XXXX made is a misrepresentation of the cost of the additional insurance package, and I believe it to be a predatory lending practice. When I read the loan documents again that same evening, I found the discrepancy in loan duration and emailed XXXX XXXX for an explanation. He never responded to my email. I also asked the sales person, XXXX XXXX, for an explanation but he avoided providing an answer.

I obtained pre-approval for financing through my credit union prior to purchasing a vehicle from Larry H. Miller XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CO. I was informed that I needed to fill out their loan application paperwork before they could approve financing. I filled out the paperwork and provided my SSN. I told them I did not want XXXX XXXX and was told that I was not applying for a XXXX Loan. I was told by the sales person that they needed the information for their records in case they " got audited. '' It turns out that the finance manager still made credit inquiries on behalf of the dealership, despite them fully knowing that I had been pre-approved for a loan through the credit union.

I did not authorize a credit inquiry on behalf of the dealership. Their actions are counter to FTC Notice of XXXX XXXX, 1998 which states " [ A ] n automobile dealer may obtain a report only in those circumstances in which the consumer clearly understands that he or she is initiating the purchase or lease of a vehicle and the seller has a legitimate business need for the consumer report to complete the transaction. I am a low income minority customer. I went to Larry Miller XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CA. They high pressure steered me into a XXXX XXXX XXXX, which was worth $ XXXX at best. They had me finance $ XXXX. Here 's the problem : I make {$15.00} an hour and they lied on my credit application and said that I make $ XXXX per year in order to get me approved for a 25 % interest subprime loan with XXXX XXXX . Yes, the dealership lied about my income to get me approved for a loan. On top of that, turns out XXXX is in on the whole scheme. XXXX XXXX business model revolves around issuing predatory auto loans that their own data shows 70 % of customers will default on. Their own data shows they are ruining the lives of minority customers. XXXX is fully aware that dealers routinely lie about their customer 's income to get them approved for these fraudulent loans. Both the dealership and XXXX are engaging in abusive harmful practices. The CFPB must act and shut XXXX down and sue these car dealers that are pushing their customers into abusive and fraudulent auto loans.

I purchased a vehicle in XX/XX/2016 and the finance company was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They sent over this list of criteria the dealership had to meet in order to allow the loan. Long story short the dealership used deceptive practices and sold me a car that was not only grossly misleading of the condition and history of the vehicle it didn't meet the criteria for the loan either. I sued the dealership and won. XXXXXXXX XXXX will not review my loan nor let me out of the contract even after I explained all of this to them. They constantly harass me every single month even though I make my payments faithfully. I do not want to continue paying for a car that the dealership dose n't even want it back due to the fact I have exposed them and the fraudulent practices they used to get me in the car in the first place. I have already paid about {$10000.00} to this company and if I have to sue them too for having knowledge of the fraud the dealership THEY ARE COOPERATING WITH then I will.

Larry H. Miller,XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX , AZ AUTO DEALERSHIP I had not even selected a car to purchase, it wasn't until I received letters stating reason for denial, ( I knew my credit was poor that's why I did not want the credit ran ). I was perhaps looking for a inexpensive car, certainly not a {$35000.00} car at my age. They Fraudently obtained my credit report for their own gain. I took this to US attorney office, they alerted AZ office. We have been working with this for almost a year with no progress all they do is a runaround. They claimed that I filled out a application on line. They could never produce the form. They want to go arbitration. What is to dispute? just produce the form and remove the credit inquires. To much of these identity problems are occurring to people especially seniors, Never thought that was a true statement, but since being a senior I see it more and more.I would appreciate any help you can give.

Larry Miller XXXX, XXXX, accessed my credit report, while i was not even in the loan process. Neither I was present at the dealership while my report was pulled. When I brought it to their attention, they did not disclose the whole truth, and told me they never got my credit score. However it is showing in my credit report that a hard inquiry was made by XXXX XXXX on my credit. They told me they were trying to pull credit score for another individual, which name does not even remotely match with me. ( We have the same address, but i dont think that should matter. ) They told me that person 's social security number is similar, thats how they got my credit report by mistake. After verifying with the person whose credit they were supposed to access, his social security number is not even close to mine. I asked them how did they got my credit report, they told me its a system error and they " apologize ''.

In XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from the dealership XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told I only received financing from 1 company. I believed them since I knew I had credit issues and this was a new start fresh. I did not know at the time the company I received financing thru was owned by the dealership. If I had known I probably would not have gotten the car. When there is no disclosure of business relationships its hard as a consumer to make informed decisions. I was later been made aware that I received an offer from XXXX XXXX as well as XXXX XXXX but was never given the option of this other financing company. Since obtaining this loan I have been unable to trade it in because of a lawsuit with the car and the amker and the value has since been cut in half of what I owe.
