While making a purchase I was notified from my bank that my account had been frozen due to a lien and to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX, I spoke to XXXX XXXX, whom had informed me that a default judgment had been filed against me on behalf of XXXX XXXX Payday loans. I had taken a payday loan out in XX/XX/XXXX, and made a few payments, but lost my job and the bank account ; so I could not make the payments. I tried to make arrangements with the company, but XXXX XXXX refused to work with me. In XX/XX/XXXX I am notified that they filed a lawsuit, because the attorney had put a hold on my child support payments ( which is illegal in Texas ). XXXX XXXX XXXX refused to lift the hold until I signed an agreement. I originally took out a {$750.00} payday loan, but now the charges had gone up to XXXX with excessive fees and interest. I did not attend the court hearing because I was never served and was totally unaware of this. The lawsuit was filed in a different precinct than where I live, with XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I asked for a copy of the original lawsuit and XXXX XXXX XXXX has not provided this to me, just a statement of what the total amount is now due.
