I went in to Koster Cash Loans located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/18. The representative called me earlier this morning to inform me I was welcome to apply for the loan. I decided to stop by to see what I qualified for. I was introduced with two forms to fill out - one application and one authorization to run credit/other reporting. I filled out the application first. The representative then said she had my social security number and was running information. I found this strange since I hadnt filled out the authorization to run my information yet and told the representative she didnt ask me before running it. She tells me I have issues on my XXXX report that shows a charged-off debt to XXXX XXXX. I informed her I wanted to dispute this and need any documentation she has. She told me, Well, this is what I have. I let her know again I didnt give her authorization to pull anything ( I didnt finish filling out the form yet ). She refused to provide me documentation I am entitled to with my personal information on it. I let her know she cant legally pull my information without my permission.

I was notified by my employer that Kosters XXXX has issued a wage garnishment against me. I was never notified of any court date nor was I ever served a court summons. Kosters has not attempted to reach out to me nor have they sent any certified mail to my residence to inform me of their intent to sue. I would have gladly paid any amount I owed, but I am not responsible for any court or attorney fees when I was never even issued a summons. I called and spoke with a representative in their Legal Department today and was told I have to pay a balance of over {$1500.00} in full when I truly owe the company less than {$300.00} and the representative refused to provide me with the original terms of my loan.
