In XX/XX/XXXX, at the time of my doctor 's appointment, I was a XXXX student at XXXX College XXXX and had XXXX student health insurance that was covered my visit to the facility and was responsible for the money owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My understanding is the student health insurance never paid XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for my visit, though they were responsible for the bill. XXXX College discontinued providing student health insurance in XX/XX/XXXX, stating the coverage ended because XXXX discontinued their student health services. The first time Keynote Consulting called me I clarified to them that at the time of my appointment I had XXXX Student Health insurance which I provided to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, as well as paid my copay on the date of my appointment. I further explained that I was not responsible for the bill because of my coverage through XXXX, in addition to paying my copay. I provided them with the last known contact information I had for XXXX 's student health services and advised they contact XXXX to collect the debt, as XXXX was the responsible party for the debt. Keynote Consulting continued calling me daily. Specifically, I have receive the most calls from their employee, XXXX XXXX. Keynote Consulting now has repeatedly contacted my fiance, XXXX XXXX. The first time they called XXXX they informed him they were a debt collector calling because XXXX XXXX has not paid a medical bill and the medical office had given the case to them to resolve and collect payment. The first time they called XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX, which is before we were even engaged. In summary, Keynote Consulting called my boyfriend, informing him they were a debt collector, and XXXX XXXX had unpaid medical bills they were collecting on behalf of the medical facility. They requested he speak to me about the debt and inform them my response to him regarding if I was going to pay the debt. Keynote Consulting called XXXX three more times within one month, XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I informed Keynote Consulting they did not have permission to call my boyfriend, nor to harass him by continuously calling, nor inform him they were a debt collector, in addition to informing him I had unpaid debt owed to a financial institution, and requesting he investigate my intentions to pay or not pay them. Keynote Consulting stopped calling XXXX XXXX at that time. Then, in XX/XX/XXXX they called XXXX XXXX again informing him who they were and that they were contacting him due to still not having heard from XXXX XXXX and wanted to know if he had spoken to me about the debt. XXXX XXXX told them never to call him again, they did not have permission from to do some from XXXX XXXX, as well as he never gave them permission to contact him. Keynote Consulting did not contact XXXX again in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, Keynote Consulting called XXXX again to inform him they had still not be able to collect the debt from XXXX XXXX. They asked if he was willing to give his credit card to pay for the debt for me. XXXX told them to stop calling him and hung up the phone. They did not call XXXX again XX/XX/XXXX. In conclusion, I am not responsible for the debt. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is the party responsible for the debt owed to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Key Note Consultant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX has used illegal and deceptive practices to prey on XXXX and XXXX people in the state of Illinois. This predatory debt collection agency makes millions of dollars a year preying on poor XXXX people in this state. They focus on poor XXXX because they know that they are struggling and having a hard time making ends meet They purchase tons of old debts that have been written off as a tax loss and they go after poor XXXX people. They can not and shall I say will not produce a legitimate debt validation letter when ask to do so. They also run a scheme when you challenge them they will remove the item from your credit report and soon after they will file a lawsuit using another predator whom has a law firm by the name of XXXX XXXX ( owner operator XXXX XXXX. ). Once the law suit is filed they are hoping that the individual does not show for the lawsuit so they can go for a judgement with the intend of garnishing poor XXXX people little money that the have. Key Note Consultant works hand in hand with a law firm that specializes in suing poor XXXX people in XXXX XXXX Illinois. It has been written and proven that these type of operations prey on XXXX and XXXX people. Rarely does this operative go after XXXX people. If you do the number in XXXX XXXX Illinois your will find an over whelming number of XXXX being sued for old, outdated, and debt that has never been validated. Even the XXXX XXXX states attorney stated that she is disappointed at the level of XXXX injustice in the courts of XXXX XXXX ill. They also use dirty tactics by using the XXXX XXXX XXXX to serve poor XXXX people as a way to intimidate, scare, humiliate, embarrass, and harass poor XXXX people by beating on their doors to serve them as though they have committed a serious crime. This predator behavior needs to cease now. They knock on doors of people that no longer live there as though they have a warrant when in -- fact they do not. I have forwarded this letter to the Attorney General, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX States Attorney and also the FTC. I am not concerned about a resolution from this organization because all they do is lie, cheat and steal from the less fortunate that have been victimized by fraud and identity theft. It is illegal for debt XXXX working with rogue lawyers to orchestrate such deviant behavior, by trying to extort money from people illegally by filing bogus debt collection lawsuits on people that do not live in XXXX XXXX or state for that matter. Im asking that your agency, the attorney generals, and all federal agencies ban the ring leaders of this operation from the industry to halt any further misconduct. Please forward this information to the FTC and the Illinois Attorney XXXX office because this debt collection agency thinks that you are a joke. They know that once they say that they are going to do something there is no check and balance. I would like for you too serve this debt collection agency for misconduct I will continue to file complaints on this operation until they are brought to justice for deceptive practice, lying and misconduct. They say that they are going to do one thing and they turn around and sue you intentionally for they sake of collecting money feloniously.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX Cease and Desist. I DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH YOU ALL. REMOVE THIS FROM MY CREDIT FILE IMMEDIATELY. Not only is it illegal for a 3rd party collection agency to collect a debt that never originated with you all, I have no recollection of doing business with you. XXXX XXXX XXXX SENT A COLLECTION FOR AN AMOUNT THAT IS NOT OWED. THEY HAVE BEEN VIOLATING MY FCRA RIGHT FOR 2 YEARS AND REFUSE TO UPDATE THE CORRECT AMOUNT THAT IS TO BE PAID FOR A VISIT NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. I CANT PAY ANYTHING TO THEM UNLESS IT IS UPDATED ON PAPER. THEY ALSO NEED TO RESCIND THE DEBT FROM KEYNOTE BECAUSE THAT DEBT IS NOT VALID NOT HAS IT BEEN VALIDATED. IVE TRIED CALLING XXXX SEVERAL TIMES REGARDING THIS ISSUE ALSO BELOW IS THIER REPLY TO A XXXX COMPLAINT THAT WAS FILED. FIRST AND FOREMOST COVID -19 HAPPENED AND TO HAVE REMARKS LIKE THAT BELOW IS BEYOND DISQUISTING. I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR PAPERWORK TO BE UPDATED WITH NEW AMOUNT OWED FOR VISIT THAT WAS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. IF THE SUBSCRIBER ON THE INSURANCE ASK TO SEE AN IN NETWORK DOCTOR WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU ALLOW THEM TO SEE SOMEONE OUT OF NETWORK INCURRING UNFORSEEN BILLS. ALSO BEING THAT I ASKED FOR THIS PAPERWORK FOR OVER 2 YEARS AGO IS THE REASON WHY YOU HAVENT BEEN PAID CAUSING EVEN MORE HARD SHIP WITH A COLLECTION NOW. Again. This was sent to our collection attorney in XXXX. Had the patient came into the office and paid prior to now it could have been resolved and marked paid in collections and shown. An account that is over 90 days and a claim where an insurance company advised payment went to the patient and remained unpaid for months after is submitted to our collection attorney after a period of time where calls and statements are unanswered with payment. This account from XXXX would never be removed from collection until a payment was received. This patient if a conversation was had at the time 2+years ago about pulling from collections it would certainly have had an expiration of a week or 2, not years. No services are provided for free and at no time is it acceptable to remain a bad debt after 2 years and a patient file a complaint about an alleged conversation from 2 years ago and make sense. Why wasn't the account paid 2 years ago? Why wasn't the complaint 2 years ago? This would be resolved had the account been paid. Our XXXX office does due diligence for every patient to ensure we receive the correct information for our patients. We bill out the insurances set fees, not our standard fees for in network assumed services which she was billed in network services. Two of the visits XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) the first visit ( XXXX ) PATIENT was inactive but received payment from ins for both visits, the other visit the claim received payment. In XX/XX/2019, the account was sent to collections after 6 months of calls and statements. This accusation is again unwarranted and had the accuser paid her bill this would be over but she chose to ignore the situation for 2+years and now file a complaint with no basis.

My ward received services at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. I first started receiving bills in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, by a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who claimed they were the billing company for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. These bills were paid. On XX/XX/XXXX, several months after services had ended, and in the middle of a global pandemic I received an emailed bill. I noticed immediately that the bill was incorrect, payments had been applied wrong. I spent over an hour on the phone with a Ms. XXXX XXXX who claimed that the issue was with how insurance was applied and that the issue was going to be resolved. She stated that things would be slow due to everyone working from home and not having accurate access to records during the pandemic, and shut down. To confirm this Ms. XXXX XXXX sent me an email on XX/XX/XXXX, four days after our conversation, with an updated invoice and the invoice showed balance of XXXX. I have both the email and the invoice. There were no further communications, and since the issue was resolved and the balance showed XXXX, I assumed all was well. I received no further communications. Around XX/XX/XXXX, almost a year later I received a phone call from a collection agency ( Keynote Consulting Agency XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Illinois ). The collection agency claimed that they had been contracted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to collect a debt. I told the debt collector that I was disputing the debt, and that I was requesting debt verification, including a copy of the last bill sent to me by the original creditor, and I further asked that proof be provided that Keynote Consulting had been contracted to even collect the debt. I further put this in writing and mailed to the address on file for the debt collector. I heard nothing back from Keynote, additionally to this day nothing has been provided that even proves that Keynote has been contracted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to collect any debt as part of services rendered, even though this information has been requested. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that Keynote Consulting Agency, after failing to provide debt verification, as required, they reported this collection activity to the three primary credit bureaus ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Attempts to resolve these issues from both the original creditor and debt collection agency has failed. Not only are both parties violating the Fair Debt Collection act, XXXX XXXX is also refusing to even provide basic contact information about their agency or even proof that they have been contracted to collect a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which again is a debt that is false. Please note the very last invoice shows a balance of XXXX. There were no further invoices after XX/XX/XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX in behalf of my husband who authorized me to speak to the creditor regarding an old debt. XXXX XXXX XXXX stated that they have sold the debt to keynote consulting and so I was transferred to keynote consulting and started working with a guy named XXXX. I requested XXXX for a validation of debt because there is a discrepancy between the amount XXXX XXXX XXXX charged off and also the amount the debt collector has on file. The difference is about 1k, XXXX XXXX XXXX charged off at the debt at $ 2600+ and keynote is collection at $ 3600+. XXXX stated that he does not have to provide me anything and so I negotiated a possible settlement not knowing what my rights are. In the next few days, I did my research and realized that I have the right to request a validation of debt. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX to request this and they responded by saying that only Keynote can provide this so I called keynote back today, XX/XX/XXXX and told XXXX that I am still working on the settlement amount but that I am requesting a validation of debt in writing for our records. XXXX states " your rights to request that has passed and I am declining to provide this to you ''. He repeatedly told me that he is not providing me anything and that if he does provide me anything then my husband and I will have to pay the full amount which is fine but I told XXXX I still want the verification of debt to which he replied " No, I am declining that and I am not required to provide you anything ''. I then told XXXX that I will consult n attorney regarding his decline to provide us with a proof of debt and he said " since you said the word attorney I no longe have to speak to you '' and he disconnected the call. My husband has no recollection of this debt and that is why we are asking for the verification of debt. We never received anything from keynote and the amount difference between what XXXX XXXX XXXX charged off and what keynote consulting is collecting is questionable so we were requesting a breakdown of that difference to which Keynote declined to provide. XXXX from keynote consulting said " if you didm't have a lawyer then you would need one now because you said the word attorney and we are now refusing to speak to you about this matter ''. I never told XXXX we hired an attorney, I told him we will consult one and now he is refusing to speak to us about my husband 's debt and only wants to speak to an attorney.

I was contacted by keynote consulting a Collection Agency regarding a medical bill from XXXX XXXX. I was in collections for this unpaid from XX/XX/XXXX which I was not aware of. I requested Keynote Consulting provide additional documentation to validate the account in collections. They did provide the information regarding the medical visit and it appeared to be legitimate. After discussing the payment options with the agent XXXX XXXX. It was agreed that we would pay the {$400.00} balance in 3 payments. While discussing my options with XXXX it was made clear to me that bye clearing the bill up under the agreement, there would be nothing reported or that would affect my credit with the Credit Reporting Agencies. I did provide Keynote Consulting credit card info to charge off my account and they did as agreed monthly. On XXXX XXXX, I was alerted by the Credit Bureaus that Keynote Consulting had reported me as delinquent to all the Reporting agencies XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I contacted Keynote Consulting and spoke with XXXX XXXX the original contact. He first refused to allow me to record the conversation for my clarification purposes. I inquired as to why they would report this to the credit agencies as we had entered into the agreement to pay off the balance. I made it clear when we had discussed the bill that under no circumstance will I allow this to be reported, and I will make any arrangements Keynote Consulting allows, in order for that not to happen. XXXX XXXX, kept explaining to me that the Burden of Proof of our conversation ( which was recorded ) is on myself. He also explained what a degenerate I am for not paying a bill for XX/XX/XXXX. Finally he told me straight up that they will not rectify the damages caused by them and to take it up with the Credit reporting Agencies. These acts taken by Keynote Consulting are a violation of the ethical codes set up to Govern Collection Agencies, and has been detrimental to my entire families ' survival and livelihood. It is urgent that the Attorney General gets involved and makes sure other individuals are not taken advantage, misled, lied to, disrespected, and put into a compromising situation from harassment. I do have a record of all calls, and detail of the entire transaction history with Keynote Consulting. I have provided the information to private legal counsel as well to assist with recommended actions.

About three years ago, a collections item surfaced on my credit report from Keynote Consulting in XXXX. It was a medical bill for {$160.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, IL. I did receive services from this doctor in XX/XX/XXXX, but paid all my bills in full. This was verified by XXXX in the doctor 's billing office, who confirmed I had a {$0.00} balance and all bills had been paid in full. Thus, I disputed the collections item on my credit report and asked Keynote for a validation of the debt. I never received one. Three years later, this item is still on my credit report, and has been added to my wife 's. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called the billing office of XXXX XXXX to again verify there was NO DEBT owed. I then called Keynote Consulting and spoke to XXXX XXXX. When I asked why it was on my wife 's credit report as well, she explained that they are allowed to do that via the Illinois XXXX XXXX XXXX ( which by my understanding, applies to children 's medical expenses but not spouses ). I then reiterated that there was no debt according to the original creditor, and asked for a validation of the debt. She said, " This is a valid debt. Nothing you do is going to change that. '' When I asked if they could contact the original creditor to confirm there was in fact no debt, she responded they were " too busy '' to worry about stuff like that. I again asked for validation of the debt, and she provided me with an amount and no other information. I pressed and reminded her that under law, they must provide me with a validation of the original debt. She responded, " Listen, this is a place of business. I don't have time to talk about all this with you. I pressed again, and she said, " Fine, give me your address and I'll send you a letter. '' I then asked if it that letter was going to be a generic statement or a legal validation of the debt, and she responded, " That's it. I'm done. I'm hanging up on you, '' before hanging up. This non-existent debt has plagued my credit report and now my wife 's, even now three years later as we try to secure a mortgage. I only wanted to resolve the issue and have it legally removed, but Keynote Consulting has made that all but impossible by refusing to comply with the Fair Debt Collections Act.

This collection of over {$2300.00} showed up randomly on my credit in late XXXX or early XXXX. Looking into it I discovered it was for a place called XXXX XXXX XXXX for couples to travel the world. I was extremely shocked plus confused because I have never heard of it before. On top of that, I have never had my passport and have only ever traveled between XXXX and my home state of XXXX which does not have a place called XXXX XXXX XXXX. Looking into this more I found out that they had a scanned copy of a Driver 's License that was lost back in XXXX. The signature on the paper did not even match my signature. This company used a stolen Driver 's License and forged my Signature for a travel program I don't even qualify for or live nearby. I have disputed this in detail in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX both over the phone, by letter, and through XXXX. I have also provided them Identity Theft reference numbers regarding the stolen ID and forged signature. Yet they still will not drop this collection that is clearly fraudulent. I don't even know what type of collection this is because it isn't for healthcare, it isn't for a car or a house. Not a personal loan, it just looks like someone used my information to skip town and now I have to foot the bill for it. The whole thing is frustrating and their website even looks fraudulent. How can a company do this? And if they are a legitimate company, why are they accepting forged signatures and ID 's not even from their state? Do they even interview people to see the person who signed up is clearly not the person in the picture?

I received medical service by a covered provider on XX/XX/XXXX. The provider sent my labs to an outside company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX. In late XXXX of XXXX, I received a collection notice for {$620.00} adjusted down to {$500.00}. The collection company is Keynote Consulting. They called me to collect on this debt before they ever mailed me anything. I told them I was not comfortable paying anything over the phone, and did not have any bills I was Aware of in collections. I never received a bill in this amount from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) Keynote Consulting provided me with verification of debt in the form of a bill that was dated XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX months after the date of service. The bill has a line item/note that made it seem as though maybe my insurance denied the claim in XXXX, however my insurance never received a claim from XXXX, which is now out of business ( as of XX/XX/XXXX ). I am trying to explain this to Keynote Consulting, and have attempted to reach out to XXXX via email ( only received 1 response from them, so I know they received my emails but they did not Provide me with the proof of filing to my insurance as I asked ). There is no longer a working number for XXXX, and Keynote Consulting has told me they are in contact with XXXX, but refused to help connect me to them to get this resolved. My insurance company states that if XXXX did not submit a claim, I can not be helped responsible for the bill they would have otherwise been covered. Keynote Consulting says there is nothing they can do, and will send me to collections if I do not pay.

I had ( still have showing ) a delinquent credit account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX, IL for an old credit card debt reported as {$1300.00} showing on a few credit reports, specifically experian. I tried to pay the debt to XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2023 and they informed me they sold the debt to a collections agency, Keynote Collections. They gave me their contact info and I contacted them and paid the debt in full with the assurance that they would report the debt as paid to XXXX XXXX at the end of the month and then XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would update my credit report/file. In the beginning of XXXX I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX asking for verification the debt had been paid and they said they still hadn't received payment from the collections company. I contacted XXXX Collections again to verify if they'd notified XXXX XXXX XXXX that I paid my debt to them. They informed me verification wouldn't be sent until the end of THAT month which was now XXXX, so they would be sending verification a month and a half after I had paid my debt to them. It's now XX/XX/XXXX, I opened another dispute with XXXX to dispute this item on my credit report. They closed the dispute within 1 day claiming that the account information was verified and updated. Nothing has changed. Basically they're falsely reporting a debt as " charged off '' when I've paid the debt in full. It's fraud what XXXX XXXX XXXX and Keynote Collections are doing. They're failing to report a debt that I've paid and I have documentation showing that I've paid said debt.

Key Note intentionally transferred an identity theft credit card account to XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a lawsuit, after agreeing to remove this same items from my credit report. Both parties have a deceptive and reckless reputation in the state of Illinois and particularly in XXXX XXXX, which consist of XXXX XXXX and XXXX people that these so called professionals prey on. I would like for the Illinois Attorney General and the XXXX XXXX States Attorney to get involved in these duos because they do not take this matter serious because they think that your organization is a joke. I will also be forwarding a copy of this complaint to the XXXX XXXX XXXX Attorney. Which is XXXX. and her name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX file a lawsuit in Illinois XXXX XXXX, knowing that I do not reside in Illinois or XXXX XXXX and I expressed that to both parties over 4 months ago. Both parties are running an enterprise within the state and XXXX XXXX by harassing XXXX people and filing bogus and illegal lawsuits hoping too scare XXXX XXXXXXXX people into paying credit card debt that has passed the statue of limitation and has been written off as a loss by the banks. This account that I am being accused of has reached its statues of limitation for the state in which I reside in and the lawsuit was never filed in the state in which I reside.

Keynote Consulting is attempting to collect a debt that is not owed for XXXX XXXX, whom I am also filing a complaint against. In XX/XX/XXXX, Keynote Consulting had began to report on all 3 of my credit reports a debt owed of {$1200.00} on behalf of XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX that the original contract was for {$800.00} and they illegally charged me over {$1200.00} before I had to close my bank account due to the company refusing to stop the XXXX payments on an item that was not only paid off, but also returned. Not only was the original account with XXXX XXXX closed in XX/XX/XXXX, but they continually add charges to this closed account monthly, now totaling {$2200.00} to this date and it rises continually monthly. Not only has the {$1200.00} I have paid more than cover the original contract of {$800.00}, but again, the item was returned and this company refuses to remove this false and illegal debt. I will be taking legal action against both companies due to the illegal practices taking place. Neither company will ever receive another dollar from me, and if this continues, and is not resolved once and for all, I will have no choice but to sue both companies as I have my contract and bank receipts for what was paid as well as the emails and credit report copies with false information and illegal charges.

i received a call from some Keynote consulting ( XXXX ) few days. they were talking about some debt of XXXX XXXX or XXXX who seems to be in XXXX XXXX IL and i have seen this doctor in XX/XX/XXXX, what? Since XXXX XX/XX/XXXX on wards I am living in XXXX XXXX XXXX. Yes I had lived in XXXX XXXX during XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and there is a possibility of myself seeing this doctor. But i don't remember something so far back. Today they ( Keynote consulting from XXXX ) called me back once again. They are very rude people and constantly threat that they will XXXX up my credit report. They were telling me that they had sent the bill to my old address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but i don't live there since XX/XX/XXXX. When i requested them to send the bill to my current address they were not ready. Later when i called back again, they gave me hard time. Later supervisor told me that she will send it to me but credit agencies will be updated also. When i asked for details - the date of service seems to be totally wrong. I had insurance at that time and i have no idea why insurance should not be covering it? Moreover if insurance is not covering something, the doctor 's office should simply tell the patient and let the patient decide what they want to do?

This company, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX agreed to remove a debt from my credit file and then turned around and sued me illegally your records will show this as they agreed on XXXX XX/XX/2021 to resolve the matter and they illegally used XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a lawsuit in the state of Illinois and XXXX XXXX. I do not live in the state in which they filed the bogus and illegal lawsuit I reside in another state and Im a registered voter of another state with a valid drivers license and home address in another state, I was not served with a lawsui in the state of Illinois because I do not reside in Illinois I have.not lived in Illinois for 6 years and I have proof that I live in another State and there is no way possible to serve any type of lawsuit on me because I do not reside in that state and never will live there. This illegal practices and lawsuit has caused an alarm at the property and they are responsible for the sheriff and a debt processor to disturb the neighborhood by looking for me and I do not live at that address the neighbors are terrified that people are showing up all through the day and night trying to serve a lawsuit on an address that I do not reside. This is calculus and ignorant at best.

I called Keynote Consultants who is managing a collection account of mine for XXXX XXXX at XXXX XX/XX/20 The man I spoke too identified himself as XXXX XXXX XXXX Now Mr. XXXX is listed as the company 's COO and I highly doubt that he himself would be handling collection accounts or speaking to debtors in such a derogatory manner. But that's besides the point. I was looking to see how accouny could be settled. I asked if I could offer and amount to be presented to XXXX XXXX yo clear debt and update as such on my credit. The man on the phone stated " I can settle debt, but I can't remove it from your credit, I'm not even allowed to, its against the law. '' Now am I to believe that if I settle a debt I can not receive it in writing? That if I settle a debt I can't have it updated to my credit as paid? He proposed a question, " If i close this account for {$3800.00} but don't send it in writing and don't report it as paid do you want to settle? '' I answered " not without it in writing '' His response " enjoy seeing it on your credit for 7 years and hung up '' Someone please help the way this person spoke down to me and refused to present offers to client is very wrong.

Keynote Consulting calls me repeatedly, multiple times a day. Im working to try to figure out my debts and challenge those I didnt have information about. Im currently unemployed with XXXX XXXX children. I agreed to a settlement and a payment plan once I knew the debt was legitimate. The agent who called demanded XXXX a month. When I said we might be able to do XXXX he got aggressive and rude and cancelled my settlement and began harassing me. I tried to ease the conversation and tried to tell him when I would be able to make a payment and for how much. He immediately lost his mind and began cursing and yelling and threatening me. Saying he was going to take further action against my family. He was horrible and derogatory. He kept threatening to make my credit worse and made me upset and scared. He screamed he was done talking to me and yelled over me and then hung up after finishing threatening me. I am also struggling with XXXX, physically and mentally. Ive been in and out of treatment for a while and can not handle this kind of treatment as it takes me back to really bad times of my life. The stress landed me in the XXXX for a XXXX XXXX.

My company ( XXXX XXXX ) was using a fire alarm monitoring service provided by a company called XXXX XXXXXXXX. I signed the service contact ( XXXX XXXX ) and it gave a personal guarantee. The contract did not how ever list or explain what would happen if the contract was canceled. And I was charged a fine of {$7200.00}. XXXX XXXX then employed a debt collection agency called Keynote Consulting to collect the debt. I then passed the dispute to my lawyers who highlighted the issue that the charge was not valid since it was no included in the signed service contract and there was no mention of a fine in the event of early termination. Keynote consulting then filed circuit court of XXXX county and the case was dismissed, but yet the charge of {$7200.00} remains on my personal credit and as the debt collector from Keynote consulting said " they will keep dinging my credit until I pay up '' As you can see from the attached contract no where does it mention a early termination fee. And as the case was dismissed in court, the charge should be removed from my credit report. Thank you for your time.

I signed a contract with XXXX in XXXX 2014 and every month since then I have been paying my monthly fee on time every single month according to the contract. Despite the fact that I have been paying my monthly fee to XXXX on time every single month the company decided to turn my account and payments over to a collection agency in an attempt to collect all the money at one time. I do believe that this was in direct retaliation because I requested to back out of the contract because I was not using their service. They did not allow me to back out and then they deliberately mismanaged my account showing that payments were missed which turned out to be by their own account an error on their part. Yet despite this fact my account was turned over to a collection agency although we both have proof that my payments were all made on time.

Hi. Keynote Consulting has a {$440.00} collection on my credit report, and they continue to report this a new late payment every single month. This was from a XXXX bill that I refused to pay because the XXXX charged, and collected, money from my insurance company for XXXX he had to place after he inadvertently XXXX my XXXX! Further, the original " debt '' was incurred on XX/XX/XXXX, so it should actually fall off my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. Except, they have the original debt as being XX/XX/XXXX. I presume this is the date the collection agency purchased the debt, however it is supposed to be reported using the the date that the original debt was incurred. I contacted the company back in writing, back in XX/XX/XXXX, regarding the incorrect information and they never responded.

XXXX XXXX XXXX is a leasing organization in the XXXX area who I had an apartment leased from. Per XXXX rental code they were legally obligated to attempt and release my unit at a fair market value when I left the premises, I was to pay the rent until they did that. The company never made any attempt at mitigation, and spent months arguing with me instead of trying to release it, even after I asked for communication to stop ; which in the city of XXXX eliminates their ability to collect debt. The organization was sent a cease and desist letter from a lawyer outlining they were not able to collect this date. They immediately after sold the debt to Keynote Consulting. This is an illegal debt, and XXXX investigation did not eliminate the debt.

I never attended any of their events because I realized it wasn't for me and I had already canceled before they could even take out the 1st payment. Now my credit report has a collection from Keynote Consulting Inc with no contact information. I dispute this wrongful attempt to damage my credit.
