This company was sold a debt for XXXX XXXX, this was a fraudulent account. XXXX XXXX has acknowledged this and I actually have an active, currrent account with them. However at some point 3 years ago they turned it over to a collection agency. When that first appeared I contacted that agency they contacted the customer everything was resolved they removed it from my credit I have the letter from them and the apology except apparently instead of deleting it they sold it to somebody else I guess so that they made some money off of the debt that they bought. Now the new company has added it to my credit report and is harassing me, I have told him repeatedly verbally and in writing that this was fraud And it has been removed twice now as fraud and they refused to do anything about it I should not have to keep disputing the same debt over and over again I am sorry they bought it that they couldnt collect on but they need to delete it off of my credit report because they just kept me from buying a house and Im really considering suing

THe original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a card was set up in my name by someone else, it was turned over to XXXX XXXX XXXX, I disputed it with the creditor and XXXX, they confirmed it was fraud, removed the balance owed and took it off my credit report, now it is with a new collection agency and is back on my credit. The original creditor, who I am a current customer with in excellent standing, says they show the prior balance was removed. They told me to contact XXXX who apparently sold it to KAPS, XXXX says they notified KAPS of fraud, but KAPS will not remove the debt from my credit.

I sent a dispute letter that accompanied a police report to Kaps and Co which a representative by the name of XXXX confirmed was received on XX/XX/20. On the letter I requested them to cease and desist. The continued to contact me and even sent me a letter dated XX/XX/20 which is a FDCPA violation. Today I've spoke to XXXX and and manager by the name of XXXX who hung up on me although I was nice on he call.

This company placed a fraudulent debt on my credit. I have never received any communications from this company regarding this matter. This debt is not mine and they are committing fraud by placing it on my credit. This is a violation of the FDCPA, and I demand immediate removal of this debt from my credit reports and at no time should this debt be re-reported.
