I am aware of repeated phone calls from " XXXX XXXX '' leaving messages on the phone of the victim and the victim 's family members ' phones, starting on Friday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX. After research, the phone numbers coincide with the ( XXXX ) area code, but the fax number is a ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA area code. In addition, when the victim ( who is permanently and totally XXXX ) returned the call over the weekend, the victim 's call went to voicemail. The outgoing voicemail message ( sounding much like " XXXX '', sans the Southern drawl ) stated this " law firm 's '' operating hours in XXXX XXXX XXXX, not Central Standard Time such as is the time zone in XXXX, TX. In addition, when the victim received a call from " XXXX '' at XXXX am on Monday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX outside of " business hours '' and outside of any legal debt collection laws which require specificity in the hours in which the victim can be contacted. And, when the victim did speak to " XXXX XXXX '' and " XXXX, the file clerk '', the victim was repeatedly castigated, was threatened to reveal the individual 's social security number and other identifying information. There was no lawful debt collection practice during the verbal preamble from " XXXX '' or " XXXX '' stating ( by law ), " This is an attempt to collect a debt ... '' In fact, " XXXX '' and " XXXX '' made disparaging remarks about the victims voice to verbally insinuate aspersions about the victims sexuality. In addition, the XXXX BBB address information about this " business '' and the address on the website do not coincide, but the individuals who answer the aforementioned phone numbers are the same. THIS IS NOT A LAW FIRM. THIS IS A SCAM. THE WEBSITE IS A SCAM. THE CALLS ARE A SCAM. I DEMAND PROSECUTION TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, AS AFTER THE INVESTIGATION IS CONDUCTED, I REQUEST THIS SCAM REPORT BE FORWARDED TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

I am not positive on when my account was given to this company because I never received a verification of debt. They set me up on a payment plan in the amount of {$59.00} each month. I received a call from XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that I have on file from XXXX XXXX Stating that my payment scheduled with them did not go through and it was a courtesy call. It stated in the message that if I did not get back to them by XXXX that my payment agreement with them would be forfeited and would then go back to the attorneys desk to go to the courts. I have also received many text message from the office stating A pending claim has been forwarded to our Law office in regards to your delinquent account. Please contact our office immediately to speak with a non-attorney representative at XXXX your account number is XXXX. Thank you I started to find this odd and even though I had been paying on the account I then asked if they could send a verification of debt which they insisted they would do it by email. After a few calls to them which unfortunately I do not have the dates for this they stated that they had emailed it and they verified my email was right but I still never got anything. When I asked from them to mail me it they said I need to contact the original creditor and they are not sure why I am asking now since I have been paying on the account so they would not mail it to me. Since they wont send this to me I have not felt comfortable making payments but they keep threatening court action on me stating I am glad you called because we are about ready to send you to our attorney. I also let them know I can not afford {$59.00} a month but then they will deny my payment because they only accept a minimum of {$59.00} a month.

On XX/XX/XXXX, 2017, I received a phone call from a XXXX XXXX, claiming to be from Jonathan C Frank and Associates. He claimed that he had two charges in his office that they were going to file reference to a bad check and check deception. He did not say where they were going to file this. He goes on further that I owed XXXX on a loan I received from a company called XXXX. I asked for his address, which he gave as XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Texas. I then asked him to send me validation of the debt before I will speak with him about any debt that I owe and to stop calling me. He then started to yell, stating that he wo n't argue with me, he doesnt have to send me anything, and he will file criminal charges against me and someone will be at my house to arrest me. I was called from XXXX. I XXXX that number and learned that this is an attempted scam to defraud people and steal their identity.
I looked up Jonathan C Frank on the Texas Bar Association website and saw that he is a licensed attorney. I attempted to contact his phone number listed of XXXX. I did not get an answer. He is not listed as a debt collector either on his bar information or via the Secretary of State in Texas.
He does have a website of http : //www.jonathancfrank.com/, however, a whois search revealed that this is registered to an unknown person in Utah. XXXX searches also revealed that this may be a fake site using XXXX XXXX 's information.

I took out a loan through XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I have been contacted by a law firm in XXXX called Jonathan C. Frank & Associates, saying that I owe {$700.00}. I live in XXXX and this company is in XXXX. I contacted XX/XX/XXXX, and my debt was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX ... and the debt was for {$500.00}, verified by XXXX, and XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that they sold it on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I never received anything via mail from any of the creditors, let alone from a law office. I was told that I had to pay in whole over the phone or set up payment arrangements, or further action would be taken. The only person who has contacted me from this law firm is a woman named XXXX XXXX. They sent me an electronic agreement to sign and scan back, but on the paper it listed XXXX XXXX XXXX ... which is based out of XXXX. None of this makes sense since I am in XXXX. I have not paid anything, nor did I sign the agreement after cancelling my credit card, thinking it might be a scam. They automatically asked for my financial information over the phone, and never gave me the option of disputing the debt. This law firm has my SSN, address, full name, etc.Since I cancelled my card causing the XX/XX/XXXX payment to not go through, they were proceeding even though I never signed the agreement, I have received numerous messages about how I forfeited the agreement, and further action will be taken without my involvement.

I have received several calls back to back from the same company saying they are going to send me to court for debt. The calls started on XXXX XXXX, 2016. They left a threatening voicemail to send me to court. The next day, the same lady that was on the voicemail called me 4 times back to back and I answered and asked that she please leave a voicemail and stop calling me. She says " I 'm gon na keep calling you until you pay this debt! So hang up so I can continue calling. '' The only reason why I have n't received any more calls is because I blocked the number on my phone. I then called to speak to the supervisor and he was rude saying " Well if you answered and paid your debt, she would n't keep calling you. '' I then told him that harassment is against the law and his associate was harassing me. He said " Well since you wan na report me, I 'm gon na go ahead and send you to court. We do n't care about a harassment charge. You should just pay us. '' I then hung up and proceeded to report them.

Starting on XX/XX/XXXX I began receiving calls from XXXX on multiple phone numbers, both business and personal. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I answered the call and was informed it was the notifcation department informing me that legal action is being taken against me and to call XXXX for more information. The caller provided a reference number XXXX. Upon calling XXXX, I was routed to XXXX XXXX who would not provide me with any information about the reasons I was being called, just informed me that I would be receiving a certified letter in the mail explaining the lawsuit, since I refused to provide any personal information such as SS # and/or date of birth over the telephone to a company who has not contacted me via USPS regarding any debts thus far. I informed XXXX XXXX that I was requesting no further contact via telephone at my place of employment, to which XXXX XXXX started to heckle me asking me if that made me feel better since it does n't matter, they 're already going to sue me.

The company Jonathan C Frank and Associates at the phone number XXXX has repeatedly contacted my parents at their home number AND personal cell number about a matter involving me that is " an urgent legal matter ''. I have no idea how they got my parents contact information but they have been harassing them and that is a violation of my privacy. Also, they have called my job as well and I have had to explain this to my HR dept. They contact my parents on XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. They contacted my job on XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. They do not say what the matter is regarding only to say " It is an urgent legal matter ''. Like I am being wanted for XXXX! I have discussed this with my credit lawyer and he said we could sue but its best to just report a complaint first and see if that helps. Any help is appreciated.

Yesterday I was called by the phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I needed to update my debit card information. As this was not the company I originally set up a payment plan with I started asking questions to which I got very little response. I was hung up on twice, and a XXXX XXXX started yelling when I asked for an email to contact them so I could have a paper trail saying that he did not have an email. He said that he was calling from a law office of Jonathon C Frank, which the phone number online is XXXX and they do have an email. So I 'm not sure if this is even a real company. I had my boss talk to them as I was extremely confused and she also got very little information. I called the law office number from the website I found and left them a message letting them know to call me back so someone can confirm.

I got a call that I was being served on a debt ( REFUSED TO TELL ME WHAT DEBT OR ANYTHING ABOUT IT ) or arrested if I refused to be served. I kept asking what they were calling about and all they would do is repeat the attorney 's name and that I did n't need to be so hostile. By hostile I mean asking what this was in regards to, asking why I have received no notifications of any debts owed via USPS, previous phone calls or why they are calling threatening legal action or jail for something that I have NO information on. I refused to verify my social security number because I have NO idea what this call was for or if even my debt. I requested all information in writing and was told I as too late since it 's already become a legal matter beyond their control!

I have a company that is contacting me over and over again. They contacted me and obtained financial information from me. After this, I searched their phone number and found they are a scam company. They proceeded to contact a family member this morning and left a voicemail on their phone. They need to stop contacting me and my family members. The phone number is XXXX.
