My son received 2 XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX min each, from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The market price range of this service is around {$50.00} per session. Prior to the sessions, I received an estimated price of {$120.00} per session. That information was provided by XXXX XXXX, the actual physiotherapist that attended to my son. The quotation the Hospital offers in their website is {$100.00} per session. Despite my son needing treatment of XXXX sessions, after XXXX we decided to change the provider due to the bad services my son received. However, after a while the hospital billed the insurance the amount of {$1900.00}, meaning 8 times more than the estimated cost ( {$120.00} per session ). The insurance paid {$280.00} and adjusted the total charge with the hospital. So, the hospital sent me a final bill of {$80.00}, which I paid. To my surprise, some months after the hospital started to bill me an alleged difference of {$1500.00}. The hospital received {$18000.00} per each ridiculous session of 30 minutes. More than the estimated {$120.00}. This overpriced charge is totally illegal since the hospital adjusted the cost with the insurance as well as already charged me the difference not covered that I paid promptly. It is notorious that once the total charge is repriced by the insurance, and the provider accepts the lesser fee, the extra value CAN NOT be charged. Some months ago, came to me an internal communication whereby the actual hospital employee recognizes they are trying to receive an amount 400 % above the price already paid which they prior accepted. The hospital is violating the No Surprises Act rules by billing us an enormous amount extremely over the good faith estimated price. Besides, I didnt receive any itemized list with specific details about the services provided able to justify the amount pursued by the hospital. What in that physical therapy sessions would justify such a huge cost? Recently, I started to receive threat letters from Sage Law Offices ( debt collector ). Even after I explained to them and PROVED the payment, they are insisting on harass me with undue charges. I made some search, and it seems to be the modus operandi of this Law Firm. On XX/XX/2023, I disputed the collection. However, nobody answered me. On XX/XX/2023, I received another debt collection letter, once again ignoring my dispute.

I was assaulted which resulted in a medical bill of over $ XXXX. The Victims Compensation Beaureau has approved me, but the hospital won't accept it, so now they turned it over to a debt collector called Sage Law Offices. I've explained to them, and also explained that a state attorney is assisting me with the case against my attacker. " Sage Law Office '' keeps harassing me anyway, sending me a notice of Lien instead of speaking to my state attorney.
