Very simple : " JFK Financial '' at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NV XXXX ( phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was entrusted with my XXXX and XXXX tax returns and additional financial information for the purpose of reviewing mortgage possibilities. Two gentlemen, first names XXXX and XXXX, were given that information by me in the XX/XX/XXXX. I went to inquire in XX/XX/XXXX ( when I was more ready to purchase a home ) as to my information in an effort to understand what I would be approved to get in the way of a loan ; those two are gone ... ... the files are gone ... ... ... ... .JFK personnel told me they " THINK '' THE INFORMATION WAS SHREDDED. My complaint is : identity theft is REAL, financial data was entrusted to them and they have, at best, mishandled it. All I ever wanted, asked twice for it through XXXX and from desk secretary the last week in XX/XX/XXXX, was/is : an apology statement from an officer of the firm saying it was shredded and any identity theft issues, should they arise, might be attributed to their negligence. That's all! It seems to me that, at a minimum, your office should reprimand and/or fine them for this negligence. As of this writing, I have heard NOTHING from JFK regarding this matter. Their arrogance and incompetence is an issue for you to address. The AG of NV has this complaint and soon the NV Mortgage Lending Division will as well. I implore you to investigate the mishandling of information and JFK 's failure to acknowledge such and to apologize for same. Thank you, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NV XXXX XXXX XXXX cell
