I was contacted by a mortgage broker representing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is the same broker who I worked with to obtain my original mortgage and a subsequent re-financing for the same property. He called and told me rates were down and I could benefit from a refi. He requested my personal info to run a credit check and got back to me saying everything looked good. He then requested we do a refi on my primary home ( original conversation ) and also on my second home ( rental property ). I told him I would be interested only if it makes financial sense for me. He assured me it would and asked for {$1200.00}. to proceed with processing. I sent a lawyer the XXXX for transferring my mortgage from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX back to XXXX XXXX. ( XXXX XXXX was the original mortgage holder and XXXX XXXX XXXX obtained via refi ). Several months went by when I was contacted by a colleague of his with teh refi estaimates. They were completely ridiculous. They wanted me to refi and take out $ XXXX on rental property to pay down primary mtg to obtain a better rate. The costs were approaching $ XXXX and Imy combined mtg would decrease only {$170.00} per month. They also recommended I roll closing costs into my refi package. Hence, I incurred $ XXXX more debt and reduce my monthly payments {$170.00}. I told them I wasnt interested. We went back and forth for several months before they agreed to provide a new refi for only my original ( Primary ) home. This was attractive but it was n't making any progress. After months of calling them back and emailing and texting them I was told the underwriter has declined my application due to insufficient work history. I have been doing the same XXXX XXXX work for 20 years and qualified with same persons/entity for my original mortgage and refin. I also make more money than before and have more assets than before. I told tehm I want my {$1200.00} back and they said there 's one more option - I have to wait until XX/XX/XXXX to have sufficient work history. Interested rates went up twice since original rejection notice ( XX/XX/XXXX ). This XX/XX/XXXX I submitted updated documentation and was told yesterday I was denied again - same reason. I have been doing the same work for 20 years and teh broker know of the work before this process began and has worked with me before over the past 8 years. They were 100 % aware of my work history before they requested the {$1200.00}. I also believe they wanted to set me up with a bad and inappropriate re-fi agreement and when I rejected it they wanted out of the deal with me. Loan agreement is attached. Psswrd is XXXX. This in itself should constitute a violation of some consumer protection for inappropriate loans.

My mother and I applied for a mortgage through XXXX XXXX. I was informed by the underwriter my mother and I passed desktop underwriting. I was asked to pay a {$600.00} appraisal fee. I was told after I paid the appraisal fee my mortgage could not be processed due to my student loan debt. XXXX XXXX would not refund me the money for the appraisal fee. I was referred to Jersey mortgage by friend and he had no problem approving my mother and myself for a mortgage because we both had XXXX credit scores with a lot of debt. We purchased a home for {$400000.00}. At the time my mother and I had over {$100000.00} in credit card bills and student debts. The mortgage broker said this would not be a problem. Shortly after I closed on my house I lost my job I asked the mortgage broker if there was anyway we could unwind the loan due to the significant drop of income. I was told I was on able to do that I could refinance later on down the road. This put a lot of stress on my mother and my husband and my husband ended up punching me in my face during this whole process and running up my credit cards to support our children. The mortgage broker did not exercise good judgment skills when he issued this mortgage. My mother and I are not mortgage analyst and we trusted that we will be able to afford the house. Im respectfully requesting a thorough investigation on how he mortgage of this amount was approved but the amount of student debt I have not yet to repay. I have done a little research and I know that mine and my mother situation does not conform to FHA guidelines.

on XXXX, XXXX, I had been approved for a mortgage from Jersey Mortgage company located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX. Therefore, the closing was scheduled to be held on the XXXX of XXXX. As the seller and I were waiting, 3 days before the closing date, the loan officer has delayed it to the XXXX of XXXX. Thereafter, on the XX/XX/XXXX. He failed to do it and put it on the XX/XX/XXXX then on the XX/XX/XXXX. So the seller didn't agree to give any extension and terminated the contract. I did ask the loan officer the main cause of the contract termination. He told me at first, to pick a ready to move in house next time because this one has to much repairs. When I reported the issue to the CEO of the Mortgage Company , The loan officer got upset, yelling at me, screaming over the phone saying I wasn't supposed to report him. He said again that my lawyer was asking him to terminate the contract. He gave me 3 different reasons that made me confused. In fact, I spent {$2600.00} in home appraisal, cert of occupancy and inspection. I did ask him to reimburse me those amount since I wasn't the one who backed off the deal. He said no, and my lawyer didn't take any action even I asked him to do so. Please carefully review and read the response issued by Jersey Mortgage Company. Pay close attention to the sales contract created by a realtor who claims to be a " 24k Customer Service '' realtor representing XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am very upset by XXXX XXXX XXXX 's " 24k Customer Service '' she did not apply her " 24k Customer Service '' motto she claims to bring to the table. The seller even managed to spell his name correctly on a legal binding mortgage contract regulated by the Federal Government nonetheless. XXXX XXXX XXXX realtor did not treat me with her " 24k Customer Service ''. I am not a licensed real estate professional and I can detect a slew of errors on all licensed real estate professionals involved in this Federal Funded Mortgage transaction in the amount of approximately $ XXXX of the government 's federally funded mortgages. I am guessing these real estate professionals were unaware of the countries mortgage collapse. This mortgage is an exact replica of what caused the nation 's mortgage crisis. Please have an experienced mortgage auditor review this mortgage. We can use these as a learning example for a refresher course for all licensed real estate professionals.

My mother applied for a mortgage with Jersey Mortgage Company. The mortgage broker XXXX XXXX contacted me asking if I would consider being a co-applicant with my mother on her mortgage. I explained to XXXX XXXX I have a XXXX credit score and XXXX in student debt and I do not feel comfortable assuming more debt. XXXX XXXX continue to call me at work assuring me he would only run my credit for informational purposes to give me an understanding of what I could possibly qualify for. Somehow the mortgage was issued under my name and I received a phone call from XXXX XXXX agency in XXXX New Jersey. The employee asked me to meet her in XXXX XXXX XXXX to sign mortgage closing documents. This sounded very absurd to me considering I never agreed to be a co-applicant on my mothers mortgage. I have been unsuccessful at disputing this error with the credit bureaus. I am requesting immediate deletion of this error made by the mortgage company. Please check payments made on this mortgage account which were paid by my mother XXXX XXXX the sole owner of this mortgage.

Two ( 2 ) working days before my closing date, my Mortgage Lender, Jersey Mortgage Company, changed my interest rate from 3.625 % to 5.125 %. I requested a complete verification of such impacting change ( over $ XXXX over the course of the loan ). But Mortgage Lender was not willing to correct the issues. Only a small credit was issue ( {$690.00} ).
