Hoosier Account Services was the collection agency for a medical debt that I owed that I did not know I had. I was contacted on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX about this debt. After almost 2 years of fighting my insurance company and original account holder, I payed the account in-full ( {$20.00} ). I payed this on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Hoosier Account Services continues to not report correct information to the credit bureaus.
The first item that is reported wrong is the " Date Reported ''. The date that they are giving the credit bureau is XXXX. How could this be when I paid the debt back on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX? Also, It is showing the last payment date as XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. This also is wrong as I paid the account in-full on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. This could lead to the negative account staying on my account for longer than I am legally responsible for.
I have disputed this account with XXXX and Hoosier Account Services continues to report the wrong information. They also verified this debt as a " Medical Debt '', which verifying medical account information is in violation of my HIPPA rights.

Hello, sorry for the late email, my schedule is hectic so I apologize in advance, my name is XXXX. I just received a letter from a debt collector called Hoosier Account Service, and I decided to visit the cfbp.gov debt collector website it listed, while going over the public information I realized that you mention several times that debt collectors must allot you 30 days to dispute the debt. I received several letters regarding different debts from these same collection agency and on all of them they give me less than 30 to respond to their dispute. Can I use this to get these disputes dismissed? Because they didn't follow this new law and give me the 30 days to respond? I can send a picture if its a necessity to fight them. Also is there a time period that they can not keep trying to collect after a certain period of time has passed? Thank you for your time and patience with me. Please respond asap I will need to respond in writing in the next few days. God bless!

Repeated calls through the day ( XXXX to XXXX ) and they do not leave a message. After they call once, they call a XXXX time right after from a different number.
Each time, they do not leave a message, but I looked up their number and found their information. By law, they are required to tell me about the debt and what they want from me.
The company is Hoosier Accounts Collection Agency, XXXX, NE.

my wife called hoosier accounts to ask about a paid judgment. hoosier accounts stated they had no record of paid debt then hoosier accounts decided to tell my wife about a unrelated debt and amounts supposedly owed. I did not give hoosier accounts permission to discuss any account information.
