Back in XX/XX/XXXX my husband and I had to chase down a debt from an attorney that helped my husband get custody. It took several phone calls and almost 9 months to find Jason Micahel Katz office and I could tell from the 1st phoen call they werent too happy with us callign the oringal creditor ( XXXX XXXX ) and telling them we were never notifed one time. This debt was NOT reporting to any credit reports my husband fell on hard times when fighting for his son and knew he owed this money. We agreed with XXXX XXXX to pay {$200.00} a month starting XX/XX/XXXX. We paid it up until XX/XX/XXXX when my husband lost 60 % of his income. We wrote a letter requesting to decrease to {$100.00} a month. My husband receievd a phone call ( on his correct phone number ) from a woman approving the smaller payment but with several comments saying " well when can you afford to pay more ''. I understand that debt collectors have to chase people down however we were the ones that did the chasing. And we paid on agreed apyment this entire time. And I dont know how it is anyones business to make comments about our social media page and the afct that we took our kids to a waterpark as if we could afford to do that than we could afford to pay our debt. That was a gift from my boss and extremeley unprofessional comment to make In XX/XX/XXXX I received another RUDE phone call saying my payment was not there yet. I was given I dont know how many comments claiming I was lying withouyt directly saying it About an hour later I received an email saying " they got the payment ''. About 2 weeks after that email I received another phone call saying that was a mistake and it was never recieved. I still choose to believe it was lost so ever since I have been paying to XX/XX/XXXX my check so i am not forced to drive up there again nd get dirty looks from everyone. Today, my husband sends me an email he recieved saying that weve been paying a smaller amount of {$100.00} a month and becasue we havent been paying {$200.00} a month they are going to file a lawsuit, but we can increase now at anytime. They are claiming they only apporved smaller payments for 90 days. So for the last 9 months they have accepted the {$100.00}, have said not one word, but now all of a sudden it is a problem. I call to try and explain becasue now I am upset and nervous, I have enough going on on my life to have people talk to me like becasue I owe money I am a worthless humanbeing and shouldnt be allowed to speak. Of course that is exactly what happened. They lost my payment AGAIN in XX/XX/XXXX and now I have 48 hours to make an extra payment or they filing a lawsuit? how is that fair? I have paid faithfully for almost 18 months, no one has to chase me down, no one has to remind us, I wasnt to get rid of this debt just as mad becasue of the anixety it give me to have to deal with these people, but I feel like they are bullying their customers into just wanting to pay in full becasue their staff is so incrediablely rude. I dont understandif it is in the deb collecting handbook to talk and treat everyone like trash but I no longer want to deal with this office. It has me in tears almost everytime and I cant worry whether we will be sued becasue they want to change the rules again out of the blue

Jason Michael Katz , P.C . has violated my Federally Protected rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act 15 U.S.C 1692. Jason law firm pursued litigation in state court for the 2nd time, without 1. Notifying me of this lawsuit, I have not received a new copy of the lawsuit before Jason and employees filed for an judgement 2.I never contracted with Jason P.C . to be sued upon neither time violating 15 U.S.C 1692i. I was also threatened and coerced into payments by Jason P.C. that I would be sued if I did not pay them for the alleged debt. I am now putting you on NOTICE to Cease Communication with me from all mediums including ceasing the judgement within 30 days and returning the funds as stated in my attachment.
Jason P.C. has used deceptive and abusive debt collection practice while collecting on the alleged debt causing me actual damages including but not limited to mental anguish, defamation of character, embarrassment, anxiety and more that will brought in Federal Court if you fail to comply.
