On XXXX/XXXX/15 at XXXX pacific time. I received a call from an unknown number. Person left name, XXXX XXXX, stating that if I did n't call them back immediately legal action would be taken & I would be served papers. She left the file #. I returned the call at XXXX pacific time. I was transferred XXXX times. The first person was XXXX XXXX because, I recognized her voice from the voicemail msg. She then transferred me to someone named XXXX. XXXX said my name & asked if the last XXXX digits of my social were # # # #. As I was on hold, I XXXX this company 's name and saw the list of complaints from different consumers. When XXXX asked about my social, I replied, " I do n't know you tell me if that is correct. What is this debt about? I know my bills and I know who I need to pay. Can you tell me what is this regarding? '' XXXX replied : " So you do n't know your social? '' I said, " Ma'am, what is this debt about? Can you give me any information on who this debt is owed to? '' She said : " I ca n't give you any information because I need to verify that it is you who I am speaking to. '' I said, " I 'm not going to verify my social security number because, I do not owe any debt collector, and you will not even tell me what this about. '' She said : I am asking you for the last XXXX digits of your social security number. '' I said, " And I am telling you to verify the debt. What is this company that I apparently owe this debt to? '' She said, " So, you 're not going to give me the last XXXX digits of your social security number? '' I said, " I tell you what I will do, I am going to call the police. '' She said, " Fine. '' And she hung up the phone. If she was trying to verify if the person is actually me, why would she blurt out the last XXXX digits of someone 's social security number? Usually when asked to verify your social, a representative from a reputable financial institution will not repeat your information.

This company has engaged in intimidation tactics and harassment, as well as violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They started contacting me on XX/XX/XXXX using a 3rd party called XXXX XXXX XXXX. This 3rd party contacted my brother as well on this day. Both messages mentioned that a civil suit was scheduled to be issued in XXXX county. Asking me to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted again on XX/XX/XXXX asking me to get contact XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding a pending civil suit scheduled to be filed out to XXXX county. The advocate program, I'm assuming another 3rd party contacted me on XX/XX/XXXX for an upcoming appearance in XXXX county. They apologized and said the suit is still going through tomorrow. They asked me to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX. My brother was contacted again and my mother was contacted for the first time. The advocate program contacted again on XX/XX/XXXX for an upcoming appearance in XXXX county. They apologized and said the suit is still going through Monday morning. They asked me to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, I'm assuming is XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted me on XXXX for a case that their office is handling that is pending litigation. If they didn't hear from me by end of day they would mark as an intentional refusal to comply. If I refuse to contest the allegations a default judgement will be filed without my consent. They contacted my brother again, my mother again, and my father. My mother did answer this call to ask them to stop calling and they discussed details of the alleged debt with my mother. This company has shown a pattern of intimidation by threatening litigation and a cilvil suit for over 2 months. This has caused me emotional distress. They have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by contacting my family members multiple times and discussing details of the alleged debt with my family. Cease and desist mailed XXXX.

Debt collector called me and left a voice mail and immediately called my wife and left a voice mail. I later called the company back and spoke with them and am working on researching the monies allegedly owed and they sent me a settlement offer. I spacificly asked them not to call another number on my account only to speak with me regarding this issue. Less than XXXX min after I got off the phone the same person I just spoke to spoke with my wife. I was confused as my wife was questioning everything including where I lived when I took out the loan 10+ years ago 3 years before I married my wife, 1 year before we made contact again. She knew all of the references that were on the original loan and told my wife " your husband did these XXXX illegal acts behind your back and has been hiding them from you '' These statements are bad enough however when I was speaking with my wife last night she told me that not only did she say these things she coached her into having a conversation about it. My wife did not know my social security number and the agent asked her " isnt the last XXXX of his social XXXX, she said i am not sure and the agent said sure it is. That is when she started explaining all of the details of my debt, from 2005. Now, I am not the type that would withhold information from my wife, I relay believe/believed that this was settled when I worked with credit counseling but now my wife of nearly 7 years believes I am hiding things from her and gaining her trust back is going to be difficult.

I was contacted by a representative from J. S. Resolution, saying that I owed a debt that was several years old. I had never heard of the payday loan company. They claimed they had the check, and it would be returned to me once I made the payment.The representative was rude every time I spoke with him. I was trying to get as much information as possible to make sure I was doing the right thing. Now that I have paid it, he said that the judge has the check, and I opt out of getting it back because I did n't take it to court. What proof do I have that this check would not come up again, he did n't have an answer, and became exdtremely rude. Because I called back and questionsed him, was I guess another reason for his rudness. I paid it. I just want proof that this same check does not come up again. If I have done wrong, I took care of the matter. Because I asked questions is no reason for the rude behavior. He was uppose to be a professional.How do I get the check back?

This company called me to threaten me with legal action regarding a payday loan from a company ( some marketing group ) I know nothing about. It was explained to them that I had taken out payday loans several years ago and they have been paid. I was then asked if I had proof of the payment. I stated that this was several years ago and I do n't have any information regarding it and that again the loan had been paid regardless. The representative stated that I was going to be sued and that they were going to deliver paperwork within XXXX hours to my address regarding a judgment hearing and that I needed to make sure that I signed page XXXX of the document. I stated that I would not sign any paperwork and I hung up. This company called me on both my cell phone and home phone numbers stating that there was going to be legal action and that either myself or my attorney needed to call back.

I have been receiving phone calls from J.S Resolution Group , Inc. for a loan that was included in a chapter XXXX bankruptcy. I attempted to give my attorneys information to the person calling me and they started yelling and hung up on me. They said they were going to sue me and garnish wages. I have also contacted Washington State attorney Generals office and filed a complaint and that complaint was resolved. They stated that they knew I was in BK and they would stop calling me. This was XXXX 2015. Today I received a threatening call at work and started receiving threatening voicemails about being sued and garnished wages. This is not okay and needs to stop. I have taken the action that I am responsible for, and they could have responded to the BK paperwork and been included in the payment plan. I have received calls from XXXX, XXXX.

My family received a call from someone for me call them or legal action would be taken. I called back and spoke to a rep who did provide details of a payday loan that was closed in 2006. I stated I wanted a written notice of the debt and collection. He said I could only have one emailed or faxed to me. I asked to speak to his manager and he refused. I asked to have my family 's contact information taken off record and he refused. I did request my full credit report from all three reports and none of them have this debt as open or in collections. This debt was reported paid. This company is frauduelently contacting me for payment on a debt which is no longer owed. They have threatened legal action against me and used harrassment tactics.
