this debt collection company I've never done business with in public or private has furnished my credit report and demanding that I owe them {$4700.00} not only have they violated my rights because I feel oppressed to pay this money to a company whom I've ever never did any business with and my score was dropped because of the collections account they have added to my report here are the violation 15 U.S. Code? 1692d-Harassment and abuse A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. ( 1 ) The use or threat of use of violence or other criminal means to harm the physical person, reputation, or property of any person. You harming my reputation which is a violation. 15 U.S. Code? 1692e-False or misleading representations A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt. ( 2 ) The false representation of ( A ) the character, amount, or legal status of any debt. This debt is reporting falsely. 15 U.S. Code? 1692f-Unfair practices A debt collector may not use unfair or unconscionable means to collect or attempt to collect any debt. ( 8 ) Using any language or symbol, other than the debt collectors address, on any envelope when communicating with a consumer by use of the mails or by telegram, except that a debt collector may use his business name if such name does not indicate that he is in the debt collection business. I have sent several requests to JJ Marshall and Associates per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, XXXX, Fair Credit Reporting Act XXXX and section XXXX requesting the show me the documents required by law that they have to hold me responsible to this debt. Also according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, XXXX you are required by federal law to verify - through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract - any and all accounts you post on a credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent them a certified letter to the address they have listed publicly (JJ Marshall & Associates XXXX, MI XXXX) demanding proof that JJ Marshall has a valid debt and lawful right to collect. On XX/XX/XXXX the United States Postal Service attempted delivery and it was refused. This show a clear and willful violation of the law under the FCRA and the FDCPA as they are refusing to validate the debt and show legal proof. I requested the information below. * Provide an accounting of any money you claim that I allegedly owe * Explain and show me how you have computed the amount * Send me a copy of any original contract that proves I agreed to pay your company the alleged debt * Identify the name and address of the original creditor * Confirm that the account has not crossed the SOL period * Proof that you're a licensed debt collector in your said state along with the license number, name and address on the license and tax ID number * Show me your license numbers and registered agent. * Proof of your authority to represent the original creditor or consumer in this legal matter. An acceptable form of proof would be 1. a power of attorney or an assignment letter appointing you as a signee for the debt 2. A statement sworn to under penalty of perjury that the debt is valid and that you are legally entitled to collect this debt on behalf of the original creditor * Provide me with the name and official title of the person to whom you verified this information with their company or their computer based system used for verification please also include the date in which you communicated with that individual or the date by which the system was accessed. At this time I am submitting this as so that the FTC will have on record that I have attempted on numerous occasions to have this company obey the law and they have refused to produce the documents they are required to have on file to continue to report this derogatory information. I have been given no original contract bearing my signature or documentation of any kind. I am also providing this information to both the United States Attorney Generals Office and the Michigan State Attorney Generals Office. It was advised that I try to have this issue resolved though the mediation of the CFPB before I filed suit in state court seeking remuneration for several things including but not limited to: Violation of the FCRA, Violation of the FDCPA, Defamation of character and Identity Theft as they have opened this account without my knowledge or consent. I have lost opportunities due to this illegally reported information remaining on my credit profiles. I am attaching a copy of the most recent USPS Certified mailing.

My daughter has been going to preschool from more than an year in the XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX. we used to pay XXXX $ in cash to the school every month. My daughter started to get sick from XX/XX/2018 onwards due to some XXXX XXXXXXXX. we stopped her from going to school for almost 2 weeks. After that she got recovered a bit and then we started to send her to school. Again in next month she struggled with the same issue and we stopped the school for over a month. we asked School head ( a lady ) to stop the school for winter since she is not feeling well due to winter. But she convinced us telling that she has to come so that she will get some immunity. The situation continued she was running on antibiotics for over a month we are very frustrated and sad with her situation and then we changed the school sometime in XXXX. Until XXXX we paid all the fees and don't owe anything to the school. After this we started getting calls from her telling that we owe one month notice and has to pay one month school fees again. I told her and sent her email that this was happened. she threatened me that she will contact debt collection agency if we didn't pay. i said it is because of her we struggled a lot with my daughter 's health. Once i got a doubt and i went and i checked the conditions of the school in XXXX. I realized she is not following the XXXX rules and each teacher was given more than 10 children to take care of and the premises are also not clean. The bathrooms are not clean and kids will easily get sick in those conditions. The air conditioning is not clean and is full of dust which pumps it to the kids play area. I hope they realized it at least now. Now the debt collection agency come and tries to send a collection notice. They don't even know what happened and struggle we went through with the school environment. Now they opened a debt collection account on my name and it is now affecting my credit score. This is all happening because of a greedy and corrupt school head teacher.She thinks of school as a business and is playing with the health of many kids especially in winter. The kids does not even have good play area indoors to play during winter. She is still arrogant and uses unnecessary word in the phone call. The CFPB should have some enquiry done on this School. The school name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. First she don't provides invoices regarding the school fees. I don't know that until i move to a good school where they maintain accurate records. Whenever i pay the fees in cash she used to smile at me and take the money in cash with out hesitating. She does not follow the rules and also might be skimming a lot of money. Please beware these kind of schools and greedy school owners.

A collection for {$2600.00} appeared on my credit report from JJ MARSHALL ( Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX ) when I filed for a mortgage on XXXX and I do not owe this company because as of a divorce decree I was forced to move out XX/XX/XXXX, I went to the XXXX 's office and turned in paperwork stating that I was moving out and XXXX accepted it, I paid a small amount that day. I found out through a credit report pull they had put an eviction on my rental credit report and they claimed I owe {$2600.00} debt from a XX/XX/XXXX eviction. I have never been evicted and I do not owe a debt. I did not have a lease with them after XX/XX/XXXX after the divorce. I called JJ Marshall to find out what I need to do because of the identity theft, an ex spouse was renewing the lease with out my knowledge, yet XXXX knew I was removed from the lease. I was told by the collection company employee on XXXX she would need a police report to help me. I filed a police report XXXX with XXXX XXXX Sheriff 's Office police report # XXXX in order for this collector to review the case that this is not my debt and she even marked my file as " No Contact '', I did not tell her to do this, but then told me to call back the next day to speak to a manager. She was rude to me on the call. Then when I called today XXXX a man told me the manager was off and she was wrong. Also that I had to email him and he would contact me back right away if I wanted to talk to him, again he was rude and short with me, all I have been trying to do is talk about what I need to do to get this resolved and removed. I sent him the email to the email they gave me XXXX. I just want this resolved I don't need someone being rude to me, and then telling me " respect is a two way street '' and then talking over me. I sent the recorded call to my loan officer and she told me to file a complaint. It is not my account and they are hurting my credit, but they are also ignoring my dispute or lying to me. I requested a deletion letter in the email so they would notify the credit bureaus or I can. I am not about to pay a debt when I did not live there and I was never evicted. I was also never notified about this collection or this would have been handled right away.

In XXXX of XXXX JJ Marshall & Associates , IncXXXX alleged that I owed them a debt of {$910.00} and began reporting this collection account to all three of the major credit agencies on a monthly basis. In XXXX of XXXX I sent JJ Marshall a debt validation letter and requested evidence of their legal standing to collect the alleged debt. In XXXX of XXXX JJ Marshall responded that my dispute was lacking any facts or information that would allow them to conduct an investigation. They also sent me a copy of a lease agreement that did NOT state, appoint, or recognize JJ Marshall & Associates Inc. as the landlord 's representative or the assignee of the landlord. Therefore, JJ Marshal failed to provide their legal standing in this matter and used my personal information without my consent to manufacture an account that was deliberately reported to the credit reporting agencies in an attempt to collect a debt that was not owed to them. I proceeded to dispute the account with the credit reporting agencies but the account was continuously verfied. In XXXX of XXXX, I reached out again to JJ Marshall to give them another opportunity to provide me with their legal right to collect on the alleged debt in hopes of resloving the matter. JJ Marshall ignored my request and continued to update the account as a collection, causing severe ongoing damage to my credit report and score. On XX/XX/XXXX I made one last goodwill attempt to resolve this matter and JJ Marshall declined to settle. After exhausting all options I filed a police report for fraud with my local police department. JJ Marshal has not only violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act but they also violated my rights under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act to include multiple offenses XXXX Unfair, unconscionable, or deceptive methods, acts, or practices in conduct of trade or commerce. JJ Marshall has yet to supply me with ANY evidence that they have the legal authority to collect this alleged debt and therefore have no right to report this derogatory and fraudulent information on my credit reports.

I financed furniture through XXXX XXXX XXXX financier XXXX XXXX. Shortly after getting the furniture, I was put on XXXX XXXX XXXX for 6 months. That was the first time I attempted to contact them to make alternate payment arrangements as I was not receiving a full salary. Upon returning to work, I was intermittently on unemployment due to my employer doing a complete restructure of my job site. I, again contacted XXXX to advise them of the situation and make payment arrangements. They advised me that they do not make arrangements and would not be willing to make any arrangements. Auto drafts from my account were being done by the company throughout this period however they stopped taking the payments after XX/XX/XXXX. In the interim, I contacted them again to set up arrangements to remove late payments and get my account in good standing, however the company refused to provide any payment arrangements. Since then, they have placed this account for collections with JJ Marshall. I sent JJ Marshall a letter via certified mail asking for validation of the account. This letter was sent out on XX/XX/XXXX. While I have not received a response to this date, I can confirm that the letter was received on XX/XX/XXXX. USPS tracking number for the letter sent to the Collection agency is XXXX. Today on XX/XX/XXXX, I got notification that they attempted to serve me with lawsuit papers. I have yet to receive any information directly from the creditor, however they have removed the collection from my credit report. I am filing a complaint because the account is no longer listed as being held by the company attempting to sue me ; a company that has not responded to my written request for supporting documentation ; and the original creditor refused to provide we with any comparable solutions for repayment of the original loan amount.

I reserved a storage unit for my sister to move her stuff, my sister had the storage reservation placed in my name, and even though I contacted the storage center numerous times about canceling the contract and properly transferring it into her name cause she was not making payments they did not do so. After they sold the debt to JJ Marshall it appeared on my credit report and I disputing explain g the above that the account was never supposed to be in my name and that I had told the storage center this as well. I went as far as contacting JJ Marshall directly to speak with the agent assigned to the case. This agent admitted that they knew the owner of the account was disputed and that when they came into ownership of the account it was noted in the file that ownership was disputed. Despite this admission, the agent refused to remove it from my report. Further, every time I have properly disputed it with XXXX they have responded by saying they have verified the account as mine despite my objections to ownership and their owner 's knowledge of the contested ownership. They have sent 100s of spam emails and spam calls so often and frequently that I had to block several numbers from this agency as I was getting nearly 20-30 calls from them weekly ( including weekends ). 6 months ago I filed a dispute about this account and submitted proof as to their knowledge of the inaccuracy regarding the ownership of the account. In response to this JJ Marshall removed the item from my account, stopping the dispute, and added it back in XXXX. They are continuing to assert they have confirmed ownership and that is a blatant lie.

I co signed for a rental property with cherry chill properties in XXXX and was told my name would be removed from the lease after a year. My mother which is XXXX XXXX passed the following year in XXXX of XXXX. I informed XXXX hill properties of what happened and notified them that I would be moving. I also stated that my sister and brother would still be there and was told that they could live there under my moms name if they paid the rent and to give a 30 notice by email, which I did. I moved XXXX XXXX. I still kept communicating with XXXX XXXX XXXX to make the payments as I received the money while they were still in the property. After they moved which was XXXX XXXX I notified cherry hill properties by email. They were emailed before the XXXX. With no response I emailed them after the keys were left in the mailbox and the property was vacant. I received a email about charges that occurred after I notified them that the damages were there about the basement while staying in the property and no one ever came to fix that. I still have the pictures of the damages. I never received anything about a court date before the garnishment of my wages so I wouldnt be able to respond to something that I did not receive. I was never notified of anything. By the time I received a notification my wages were already garnished which cause me to fall behind on my bills at my apartment. I have my lease from when I moved in XXXX as well as a 30 day notice by email.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX J J Marshall & Associates has violated my Federally Protected rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act by pursuing litigation against me in state court the case is # XXXX without me contracting to be sued upon violating 15 U.S.C.1692i ( 1 ) ( 2 ) ( a ). XXXX never properly served me, I never received an summons to have any idea about an court date. I never received correspondence about the debt to have the opportunity to dispute the alleged debt as that is my right under the FDCPA. XXXX then put a judgement against me without any knowledge of the court hearing also violating the FDCPA. I recently reached out to XXXX to get information on my account and was told by a representative they sent me XXXX correspondence in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX before sending my information to XXXX XXXX XXXX, but the address they listed was not my address and the representative could not tell me when it was received because, she said it was not sent with an tracking number. I was also told XXXX charged me a collection fee which is also a violation of my rights. I told the representative to notate the account to Cease Communication from me from all mediums and to date, XXXX is still collecting on an alleged debt. Remove the judgement and return the money that was took from my wages or I will pursue litigation for the damages that I suffered from your reckless and deceptive practice.

I never knew there was a debt owed at all until I was trying to buy my house in XXXX of XXXX and I started reviewing my credit report. According to XXXX XXXX the debt was from XX/XX/XXXX. At that time unsure of how to handle such a large debt from so long ago I tried to dispute it with the credit bureaus to no avail. I have never once received even a single piece of mail of any kind from neither jj marshall or the original debtor XXXX XXXX. I never even received any notice of any court proceedings. I was never served paperwork by anyone. On XX/XX/XXXX my employer provided me with a copy of an order to garnish my wages on behalf of Jj marshall. Still to this day I have no idea what they are claiming I owe almost XXXX for. I am now attempting to object to this garnishment. To my knowledge it is beyond the timeline in which I can object to the judgement. I do not believe they made any attempt at reaching me in order for me to object to the debt in the first place so I would not have a chance to fight it. I have lived at the same address since I moved out of XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. I have received mail both legal and otherwise for almost seven years at my current address as well as it being my address listed with the post office and the courts so there is no reason that they could not have served me a proper notice.

I request that you remove this information from my credit report or investigate the accuracy of it. As outlined in 15 U.S. Code 1681e, you are required to comply with reasonable procedures to assure the maximum possible accuracy of the information contained in my credit report. If, upon investigation, you find that the disputed information is inaccurate or incomplete, you must promptly delete, modify, or correct such information or block the reporting of the disputed information, and inform the creditor of the same. Hi, I have reached out to the company before. They are attempting to collect a debt that is not accurate. I have NEVER lived or EVEN received a key to live at the apartment complex. I filled out an application, they sent me a lease to read over and SPECIFICALLY told me the lease wasn't final UNTIL I paid the deposit that was REQUIRED to move into the apartment. How it went from that to contacting me several months later saying I broke my lease and only lived on the property for a week is fraud! I feel I was forced into something that they knew they were going to commit a fraudulent act. I refuse to pay this debt when I lever lived in the apartments and the debt collector nor the owners of the apartments will help me. I will take legal action if this matter isn't resolved because Its causing me stress and anxiety and causing my credit to get me denials. I have never even had a light bill in the address mentioned. Its never been listed as an address of mine. SO how could I have lived there with no utility bills matching. Thanks you for verify the details of this " lease '' debt that with the debt collector. The leasing agency and the debt collector seem to be trying to squeeze the little guy.

On XX/XX/2018 I contacted JJ MARSHALL in an attempt to pay off a debt, not only were the customer service representatives rude due to me missing a previous payment ( due to financial hardship ) but they voiced that I was already being summons so they wouldn't accept my payment. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and she was hard to deal with and even had an attitude when I tried to discuss payment methods, she transferred me to XXXX who I initially set up the payment arrangement with and she pretty much dismissed me due to me missing the first arrangement ( even though I was ready to pay the debt today ). I feel it was unfair of the company to treat me as if I was less of a person in the discussion when I was trying to determine a method to pay, as a debt collection company, I would think that getting their money would be the main focused, she proceeded to tell me that I was already being dealt with by the court so there was pretty much no need in me trying to make the payment that I was trying to provide and to just wait for the summons. JJ Marshall overall is not a debt collection agency that wants people to pay their debt but they're trying to get people to get sued in court instead taking the payments.

Previous report was closed out when debt collector responded, Only CFPB did not even take the time to verify their information. The bond number provided by JJ Marshalls is not legally binding to them in the state of New Jersey, no did their office provide a new jersey business license. AS per NJ State Revune department JJ Marshall has no license or bond in the state. The bond number they provided is not registered to JJ Marshall! This is how JJ Marshal repsonded and CFPB just closed the case not even verifying the information. I did not get anything from the collection company. It just showed up on my credit. I tried to call the collection company and was told that they do not give out any information about there clients and that I owed {$500.00} ( it is on my credit 2x ) for an apple watch ( I have never owned anything XXXX ). I have XXXX identity protection and we have called collection company 2x.The first time ( XX/XX/XXXX ) the person that I needed to talk to was not there. I sent my letter off XX/XX/XXXX. I told the credit bureaus to " investigate every piece of information '' on the accounts i have listed below. Also i have attached the letter and receipt from when i sent the letter out and here is the tracking number. According to the FRCA the term " investigate consumer report '' means a consumer report or portion therof in which information on a consumer 's character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. I attended XXXX University from XXXX, I got financial aid to help pay for tuition and stuff. XXXX issues students debit cards to load the unused balance from the student loans into the card. I decided to not attend school anymore and dropped my classes. Last year I got a letter from XXXX saying I owe them over {$3000.00} for the renaming portion of my loan. I lost my debit card soon after I dropped my classes and I never took the or received the {$3000.00}. I tried to explain that to XXXX and they told me too bad and referred to a collection company. I disputed the debt with the collection company and the collection company could not verify the debt and stopped collection activity. It 's been a few months since they could not verify the debt and now I get another letter from a collection company stating I owe the debt again and if I wanted to validate the debt I can but a lawsuit will begin if I ask for validation again. In XXXX my identity was stolen and used for various unknown purchases on multiple accounts. I disputed the charges and all were deemed fraudulent and removed from my credit history, with one exception. JJ Marshall associates claim that I owe {$490.00} for unknown charges. They were notified of the fraud and they informed me that I should file a dispute with a credit agency to have it removed. I did as they requested and moved on with my life as usual. In XXXX I started going over my credit report with the anticipation that I may be applying for a loan at some point when I discovered that the charges were never removed from my Credit history and they were still in collections. I decided to once again dispute the charges and the people at XXXX recommended that I submit a complaint to the CFPB in order to help resolve the issue. Hello, I am having a hard time dealing with this collection agency, JJ Marshall & Associates. The alleged debt was originally from a credit union. JJ Marshall & Associates claims that I owe {$270.00}, this is inaccurate and untrue. Not to mention, I never received any type of notification that I owed money, this collection just randomly showed up on my credit report. I have emailed and sent hand written letters to the executive departments of both the original creditor and JJ Marshall & Associates, neither of them can validate the exact amount they claim that I owe or the dates of any activity. I have also disputed this collection account through the credit bureaus and each time it comes back verified. It is disturbing how much damage these companies can do to a person 's financial life and yet not even blink an eye when we request information and accuracy.

This company.J J Marshall & Associates did not properly serve me a summons. The summons was left with a family friend and was not signed for and the officer ( or person she described dressed in a police officer uniform ) told her that I didnt not come get the packet from her as soon as possible and respond I could be going to jail and its possible I already I have warrant out for my arrest. I immediately called this agency to try to handle this and I was advised that I first had to pay for them serving me before anything could be handled and they also needed a financial statement from me. JJ Marshall Assosciates Inc. has lied to all three credit bureaus repeatedly when I have tried disputing them on my credit report. I paid off JJ Marshall Company on XXXX. I contacted XXXX and XXXX for the collection account to come off of my credit report. It did not come off and is showing closed on XXXX. This is not true. XXXX the general manager got extremely rude and aggressive towards me over the phone and in person. Over the phone it was due to me asking why I can not log in to my account and pay online, to which he refused to say the website wasn't working and told yelled at me to just pay in person or over the phone. I lived in a home for two months, was not on the lease. The property manager is letting JJ Marshall 's Associates handle this and it is not my debt. When a collection agency named JJ Marshall and assciates called me from Michigan, I asked for their NJ collection agency license number and was hung up on. I am still waiting on JJ Marshall to send me proof of this debt ( a debt breakdown for the balance that they are stating that I owe ) and I need to see proof of my signature. I also would like JJ Marshall to send me proof that I am obligated to pay them for this debt that they are stating that I owe. To date, I have not received any of these items. I do not owe any money to JJ Marshall or any other company.

I have been trying to get validation of a debt that is being held by JJ Marshall & Associates.What they sent was a print screen and what is reporting on my credit report does not even match what they supplied. I have disputed this debt because I do not know who JJ Marshall and Associates are, they are on my credit, I have never applied for or done business with them, and they sent me medical billing information. Credit bureaus has a JJ Marshall to bankruptcies. The information is incorrect. The Bankruptcy Court also do not report this information to the credit bureaus the credit rebuild pulls this information I have tried to dispute this information with the credibility refused to get the information off of my credit report, so Im filing a complaint.
