The first occurrence was on XX/XX/XXXX. Part of this was bad timing ; however while I was at a doctors appointment my father called my frantic. He said that someone tried calling him looking for me. Then this same person 10 minutes later called my XXXX year old brother who is now calling my father worried. And then 10 minutes after that called my XXXX year old son. Everyone was panicked. It was horrible timing, and I told him to never call my family again. He said he got all of their information from the state of KS.
Then the strawthe debt collector called my work twice on XX/XX/XXXX. I told them this was my work, and she kept placing me on hold. I was trying to work so I hung up. She called back and said we must have got disconnected and I told her again for the XXXX time this was my work. She became argumentative and I hung up as I was trying to work.
Then Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received another call on my direct work line. I recognized the number and was on hold for around a minute when the girl got on. It was the same girl, XXXX XXXX, and I told her, AGAIN, that this was my work number and the XXXX time I have told her NOT to call me here as now it has made my office aware of my private situation. She said this is not your work number. She also said this is what the girl gave me to call. Well she did call my work, the receptionist gave her my direct desk number at work. I told her I had to get off the phone because I was working and she said I wasnt working???
I have the collection agency to send me documentation clear back in XXXX and have yet to receive it. I was told to go online and check it. I told them I wanted verification of the debt from them in writing. Still nothing. I have worked with collectors in the past, but never anything so vile in my life

XXXX XXXX of J & D Recovery , Inc contacted my office regarding an outstanding invoice with a New York based company, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I requested that XXXX XXXX send me an email with written notification of the debt, as my company had paid the invoice the previous year. XXXX XXXX sent me an email but did not include notification of the debt, nor the outstanding invoice in question. I responded to XXXX XXXX 's email with information that the check we had sent the previous year had not cleared, that I had stopped payment and reissued the check, and gave the date upon which it was sent. I then requested that his company stop contacting us. Over the following three weeks, XXXX XXXX has made phone calls to my office that exceeded ten phone calls per day. He has repeatedly used abusive and harassing language when he has spoken with myself and my colleagues.
