In XXXX 2016 I made a mortgage payment through International City Mortgage ( ICM ) and unknowingly transposed two of the numbers of my checking account. The payment was accepted and I believed it had been made. After the funds were still in my account some days later, I called ICM to confirm the payment was accepted. I was told it was and to wait a few days for it to clear. I again waited for the funds to clear but they did not. I called ICM and after extensive research on their end it was discovered that my bank had rejected the payment because of the account number error. This was now some time in XXXX. I was told the bank would reach out to me directly to fix the error. I gave it several days and was never contacted by anyone. I again called ICM and a payment was made for both XXXX and XXXX to clear up the issue. ICM agreed that the error was not intended and I had never been 30 days late on a payment. I monitor my credit and soon afterward discovered that my score dropped dramatically based on a derogatory remark from ICM reflecting a payment 30-60 days late. I immediately called ICM and requested it be corrected as it was an accident that was corrected immediately upon discovery. I was told to submit my request in writing. I did as directed and was informed that my request to remove any late fees and the derogatory mark was approved. I was told the derogatory remark would fall off of my credit report within 30 days. I waited that length of time and the derogatory mark was still present. I called ICM and was told that I actually needed to submit a credit report as proof of the remark. I submitted a copy of the information shown on XXXX. After checking the status again I was told the report had to come from a credit bureau and so I ordered a full report from XXXX. I confirmed it was acceptable to ICM and was told to wait another 30 days. I waited that length of time and again the remark appeared on my credit. I called ICM and discovered that someone had accidentally rejected my last request with the Experian report so it had n't been reviewed and needed to be resubmitted. I was told the issue should be resolved by XXXX. I checked my report on XXXX and found the derogatory remark was still present. I called ICM and was told the department I needed was n't open and to call the following day. I called XXXX and was told the 'ticket ' was still showing as pending. I explained how long I had been working toward resolving this and that it was very important to me that it be taken care of. The representative guaranteed me a call by the close of the following business day. The next day XXXX waited until approximately XXXX and called ICM myself as I had n't heard anything. I spoke to a representative who placed me on hold for 15 minutes and then someone else answered the phone completely unaware of what I was calling in reference to. I explained the situation again and was told that ICM never guarantees a call by close of business the following day but that was exactly what I was told. The representative then stated my issue was still pending and I needed to give it another week as these things 'just do n't disappear '. I fully understand how credit reporting works. I also know that I 've been working at this for far too long without getting a resolution. I have also never received a single phone call from an ICM representative concerning this and I 've been told repeatedly that the issue was taken care of when it was not. It is at this point that I am asking for help from an outside agency as I no longer know what to do.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015 at the signing of loan docs, I was given a final closing disclosure to sign by International City Mortgage which indicated the total cash at closing for my total down payment would be {$13000.00} ( which included my XXXX initial down payment, a {$4000.00} gift from my uncle and and IRS debt I needed to pay ). I told them this amount was not correct that it should not be more than {$13000.00} ( My total Down payment ( which included my XXXX initial down payment and a {$4000.00} gift from my uncle ) plus my IRS debt ). I was told that a clerical error was made on the closing disclosure and it would be fixed the following morning. I was also told that to avoid any issues that I should deposit {$11000.00} ( which would be added to my {$2000.00} initial down payment ) to make sure that we had enough money at closing and any anything above the {$13000.00} would be refunded back after closing. The following morning XXXX {$11000.00} ( {$7800.00} from myself and {$4000.00} gift from my uncle ) was wired into escrow They also sent a new closing disclosure for me to sign which indicates on {$12000.00} in cash needed to close and indicated there were several adjustments made and this amount was final and would not go up. The next morning XXXX I found out my uncle sent money from the wrong account so he wired an additional {$4000.00} into escrow ( Now there is {$15000.00} total in the escrow account ). On XXXX/XXXX/15 the day of closing approx 1 hr before funding is cut off they send another disclosure for me to sign which indicates only {$10000.00} in cash needed to close, I asked were they sure and that anything brought in above this will be refunded and I was told yes, so I signed it and sent it back. My loan closed and refunds were issued on XXXX and all they returned of the {$15000.00} was {$4000.00} ( {$4000.00} for the additional gift my uncle wired plus the wiring fee of {$59.00} ). I was total by the escrow company that there were no additional refunds. I immediately went to ICM and was told by the branch manager that I would receive a refund check ... I have made several attempts to resolve the issue ... but my calls from the branch manager and or the corporate office have not been returned. I have been in contact with a loan assistant but he has no answers for me. I feel they preyed on me and deceived me. I not sure how many people they have done this to but they must be stopped and someone should look into their practices. I need direction on how to get my money back.

I am a XXXX and I sent a client to iCity Mortgage in the beginning of XXXX 2015. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, we executed a contract for a typical 30 day closing. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 they finally closed it. However, the entire staff that worked on this file, did not work with a " Time is of the Essence '' sense of urgency throughout the entire process. At the end of a closing extension for 2 weeks, XXXX XXXX was to be the latest the seller could close, as they had plane tickets and were going out of the country for a month. We were in and out of underwriting because they kept coming up with items that needed to be corrected. Instead of telling us all at XXXX. This took several days. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX VP of the company, XXXX XXXX, text me he got the ok from quality assurance and sent email with the docs. The file had been in quality assurance XXXX times because they could n't seem to ask for the correct items that was needed. Underwriting failed to let title know they needed a preliminary HUD for the XXXX lien. It was approx XXXX XXXX when title was informed. Way past closing time. XXXX XXXX after XXXX, quality assurance finally approves the file and releases it to docs out. It was about XXXX before title received notice. Again way past closing time. XXXX XXXX title is does not have instructions from the lender and does n't receive them by end of day. XXXX XXXX XXXX am title receives instructions for only the XXXX lien but not the XXXX lien, no Deed of Trust and the lender did n't put the verbiage on the buyer docs that the buyer will be signing with a POA. XXXX XXXX emails that she was not made aware there would be a XXXX, when it was sent to them several days ago. Another copy is provided to her. XXXX asks XXXX XXXX, if they are going to draw up the DOT and if so to put the sellers wife on it and include a minerals reservation clause in it per the contract. Also to include the vendor'e lien information in the deed. XXXX says they 'll draw up the Deed. XXXX XXXX title still does not have docs for the XXXX lien. XXXX asks for it again. Lender provides DOT with errors. Lender did not have any of the items on the Deed that was requested by title. XXXX XXXX, title orders DOT on a rush from her attorney. Title has the DOT from their attorney within 10 minutes. Thankfully, the sellers had barely enough time to sign before catching their flight. I have all the texts and emails between all the parties who have been involved in this file. I can send you what you need. Please let me know.

XXXX XXXX has repeatedly reported late mortgage payments made on time and verified via confirmation. International City Mortgage ( ICM ) has failed to assist/correct the fraudulent reporting of its mortgage payment processing center " XXXX XXXX ''. The excuse for the failure of XXXX XXXX to properly and promptly apply payments provided by ICM is that we provided " incorrect account information :. THE ACCOUNT INFORMATION ( BANK/ROUTING NUMBER ) WAS PROVIDED EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED BY XXXX XXXX AND IS EXACTLY AS NOTED ON OUR CHECKS. Every payment has been made on time and is verified by confirmation statements sent by XXXX XXXX at the time of every payment, leading us to believe our payment has, in fact, been correctly processed. Weeks later, we receive a letter via US Mail stating they have not received payment. XXXX XXXX then assesses late fees and reports late payments to credit agencies. Repeated requests for assistance and resolution starting in XXXX and continuing to the current date have gone ignored. The fraudulent reports have significantly damaged our credit. The continued lack of response or ANY resolution indicates a serious customer service issue that must be addressed. Additionally, XXXX XXXX, XXXX ICM Branch Manager, upon obtaining our signature on the mortgage loan, immediately removed himself from any role of assistance, leaving us to attempt to seek resolution thru the main office in XXXX, California ; XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX have provided no relief at all. XXXX XXXX assured us he would " be there for the length of the loan '', if we ever had any problems, he would resolve. We are still waiting for ANY assistance whatsoever. Further, XXXX 's promise to set up a twice-monthly payment to minimize the loan interest has evaporated ; this was a key reason we decided to use ICM. XXXX XXXX appears to be using empty promises and false advertising to sell his product.

I went through the entire process, submitted everything that I was asked, signed a contract, filled out application, got my credit pulled twice and basicall did everything I was asked to do. While waiting for the process to be completed, I sensed that there was something wrong with the process. I signed my contract the XXXX of XXXX XXXX and my credit was pulled, which was n't a problem, however the representative XXXX XXXX XXXX also known as XXXX ) asked me for my bank statements and check stubs every month ( even up until XXXX of this year XXXX XXXX ) ). The amount of excuses I received and the lack of professionalism was what made me realize that something is seriously wrong. Myself and my boyfriend, who was applying with me, made contact with another lender who explained the process but it still never added up to the amount of time spent doing the process. I asked that everything that the company did for my loan be sent to a lender who I trusted to look over everything and Now 7 months down the company is telling me they are not closing my loan and that the company is not renewing their license for the XX/XX/XXXX year. Apparently, there seems to be a lot of fraudulent activities that has been going on with the employees or persons for International City Mortgage. I also went as far trying to find someone else to close the loan but i will have to do the entire process over, which i would have done but the company ( ICM ) is refusing to remove any of the hard inquires that they placed on my credit. I learned they are not even Licenses in the XXXX XXXX to do business. However, throughout the process I asked that everything be put in writing or email to me therefore I have XXXX trail on everything. There is just a lot that 's been going on with this company and the people that are a part of it. If you need any of the emails, I would be happy to forward them to you.

I have a loan with International City Mortgage ( ICM ), serviced by XXXX. I have an escrow account to save monthly for County ( Property ) Tax and Hazard Insurance. On my Annual Escrow Account Disclosure ( dated XXXX/XXXX/15 ) I noticed a withdrawal from my escrow account in the amount of {$220.00} for " Misc Escrow '' back in XXXX 2015. I received no notice that this amount was being deducted from my escrow account. I do not know what this withdrawal is for ( ICM / XXXX provided no notice or accounting of the {$220.00} they " stole '' from my escrow account ). I contacted XXXX to find out about this withdrawal ; they said that it was paid to the mortgagee, ICM ( per XXXX XXXX of XXXX ). The XXXX $ due to ICM, that I am aware of is the monthly mortgage payment ( they have no business taking $ out of my escrow account ). I asked XXXX XXXX why, and he could not answer other than the $ was their 's to take. I asked for a full accounting and reason for the deduction. XXXX XXXX said XXXX would do that, but has not to date ( several weeks ago ). I would like the {$220.00} that was stolen from my escrow account by ICM and/or XXXX returned. ICM / XXXX has not provided any notice for the withdrawal or legitimate reason for doing so.

Our loan was recently sold to a new company : International City Mortgage. It has been impossible to set up automatic payment through their website ( the only way they have to set up automatic payment ), despite receiving confirmation emails from them that we successfully registered for their automatic payment system. We have had to pay late fees for a few months while trying to resolve this. Phone-based customer service has been completely unhelpful and was unable/unwilling to set up automatic payments. Customer service told us that receiving confirmation emails from them, stating that we had set up automatic payments, did not prove we had set up automatic payments and therefore late fees could not be waived. Automatic payments are taken out the day before late fees are assessed, so there is very little time to send a payment if things go wrong with their system ( which, in our experience, happens frequently ).

My credit report is showing late payments to INTERNATIONAL CITY M XXXX. Those payments were made on time. I am requesting that the late payment markings be updated to reflect my accurate payment history. If there is any confusion, I suggest you contact myself or INTERNATIONAL CITY 's customer service representative.
