Dear XXXX : On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I purchased a timeshare with the associated account # : XXXX. Due to a variety of factors related to misrepresentation, fraud and breach of contract I have chose to file a complaint through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Please be advised that this matter is under investigation at the federal level through the complaint I filed with the Federal Trade Commission dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX in order to resolve the issues pertaining to my sales experience with your company. My next course of action is to file complaints through the XXXX subjective to the state where the contract was signed, the state in which I reside, and the state in which your company operates. To resolve the problem, I am requesting general release from my timeshare ownership. Enclosed are copies of my records concerning this purchase. I am fully aware of the rescission period related to my contract ; fortunately that issuance within my contract is not relative to the fact my rights were violated at the point of sale. The following statements were issued to the Federal Trade Commission and now to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Please be aware of each aspect of concern related to my cancellation request. 1. The timeshare presentation was supposed to be 90 minutes ; I ended up being there for more than 5 hours. 2. I was told that if I left the presentation that I would not get the same deal. 3. I expressed multiple times to the sales rep that I could not afford the timeshare. 4. I was told that I could sell the timeshare and sell it for a profit. 5. The cancellation process of the timeshare was not explained to me. 6. There was not a notary during the document signing ; the documents were taken to another room to be notarized. 7. I was not aware of my rights for cancellation on this timeshare/contract. I never was explained the process and my rights to cancellation. 8. They did not explain the documents that I was signing ; I was led to believe that I did not have to read the documents. The sales rep said " Do n't worry, just sign. '' I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. Please contact me via direct mail at the above address.
