I keep receiving calls from a collection agency called Independent Recovery Resources. There is also a collections account on my credit report from this company. I was placed in collections for an unpaid {$130.00} medical bill from a medical office named XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My father paid the bill in 2014. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was changed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX today and they stated that I do not have an outstanding balance. I then called Independent Recovery Resources and spoke with a representative who provided suspicious information. I asked the representative for the reason I was being called when I have no outstanding balance with the medical company. She stated that an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX group was still open. I asked when was the last time her company spoke with the office and she stated the medical office was contacted last month. I was curious as to how they could have spoken to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX last month when the company is now XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained to the representative that I just spoke to my medical office and they stated that I do not owe any monies. The representative stated that she will have someone call the office and immediately disconnected the line. I then called back and spoke to another representative, I asked the representative for the phone number that they have for the medical office so I can contact them and she replied " its a corporate office '' and did not provide the information I requested. The representative stated that I owed {$130.00} and {$15.00}. The {$130.00} collection charge is on my credit report which I was aware of. I was unaware of a {$15.00} debt due to the fact that I have not received any notices nor is it on my credit report. The representative misrepresented the amount I owe which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act 807 section 2a. This collection agency is not honest.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Department located at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX send my bill to a wrong address and finally send it to collections. Collection agency is called Independent Recovery Resources located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. # XXXX, XXXX NY XXXX. I have learned about the debt only after receiving the letter from collections agency on XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately contacted the agency via phone to verify the alleged debt and request more information about it. I was promised to send all the i formation they had regarding my debt. In addition, I mailed a certified letter to I.R.R. Requesting the same information in writting. Furthermore, through many phone calls, I ended up calling the XXXX XXXX department which confirmed that I had debt, as well as confirmed that all the bills were send to a wrong address. I requested the department ti send me a bill to the correct address, and take care of the collections as I have never been given a chance to pay the bill. XXXX, XXXX XXXX responsible for the departments billing told me that I have to pay my bill and then she will call collections and tell them it was an error. I have never received a bill from the XXXX XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX I have learned that a derogatory mark was added to my credit report damaging it significantly. The same day on the XXXX, I received the letter from I.R.R. With the copies of information I have requested on XX/XX/XXXX. The letter was stamped XX/XX/XXXX. However, the same collection agency reported a collection debt to my credit the following day, on XX/XX/XXXX, never given me a chance to review the documents they send and to properly respond to them. Finally yet importantly, my credit score decreased by XXXX point from exceptional to good at the worst possible time when I was shopping for the mortgage.

IRR, Inc . XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , NY XXXX Toll Free : XXXX Telephone : XXXX Fax : XXXX Email : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX started calling my cell phone number several weeks ago to try to collect a debt from the person who must have had my number 4 years ago. They called several times a day from multiple numbers. If I called the numbers back it gave me 2 options 1- I am the person they are calling for 2- I am not the person they are calling for. When I selected 2 I was prompted to provide my collections account number- which I do not have because it is a wrong number. I was not able to talk to a real person or select an option to let someone know it was a wrong number. Sometimes I would even choose the 1st choice of being the person they w ere calling still could not get a person on the phone. I even called the hospital that the debt was owed to. They gave me a number that was also automated and gave me the same choices. Because I called from my cell phone it would prompts me as if I was the person they were looking for. I looked up contact info online. I could not speak to a real person. Finally I called from another number this seemed to confuse the system and I finally got a 3rd choice wrong number. 4 years ago when i got this phone number the person in question used to get many calls. All the other debt collectors had a way I could let them know they ha d an old phone number.

I have repeatedly called and emailed the XXXX XXXX XXXX that is listed as the original company claiming I owe {$59.00} which I was never alerted to ( nor have I ever been to XXXX XXXX ). I have paid the {$59.00} charge on several separate occasions directly to XXXX XXXX as it continues to show up on my credit report as delinquent by a Company called Independent Recovery Services, located in XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX. XXXX. After receiving each duplicate payment, the XXXX company continues to assure me that they will have this collection company correct the error on my credit report, and remove all history of it. However since it first was reported on my report in XX/XX/2014, it continues to update monthly as delinquent and wreck havoc on my credit score. This is extortion either by the company or the hospital to continue to make me pay the same bill over and over again just to have it removed from my credit report. What 's more, is it is costing me extremely higher interest rates and encroaching on my ability to get a mortgage, a cost in the thousands. This is illegal, harassing, extortion and fraud and I would appreciate if you could help put an end to this illegal and dishonest business practices, which are clearly being used to force the customers into paying for the same bill over and over again trying to clear their credit report.

XX/XX/XXXX i went to see XXXX XXXX for XXXX to have XXXXXXXX removed from my XXXX i signed a formed that stated he would except what ever my insuraance paid him on XX/XX/XXXX i had the XXXX the dr was paid several times by my insurance XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX after further investigation the insurance discovered he was over inflating the bills and not license to do XXXX under XXXX XXXX in his office as there was no safety net in place if something went wrong and refused to pay the dr any more claims. 1 year later XX/XX/XXXX i get a notice from a collection agency INDEPENDENT RECOVERY RESOURCES i then reached out to the company and explained that in these bills there are no payments attached for service and do they really believe a XXXX XXXX cost XXXX and {$240000.00} I went on to explain that my XXXX was so XXXX that i had to have another XXXX two more times and XXXX XXXX XXXX off my XXXX XXXX from the mess XXXX XXXX did. There are bills dated for days that i did not see him and bills dated long after I moved out the state of XXXX XXXX i was living in XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX till present I would like to have this case investigated for fraud there are multiple items listed on the same date on 2 differents as 2 different things,

Independent Recovery Resources has placed a collections account on my credit report for XXXX XXXX. I was never to XXXX XXXX. My ex husband took my son there and XXXX XXXX did not submit to my sons medical insurance correctly and therefore did not get paid. By the time I.T was realized, too much time had passed and therefore they could not collect from the insurance. I sent XXXX XXXX XXXX the letter from the insurance carrier proving that I.T was not submitted correctly. There are two accounts from XXXX XXXX with Independent Recovery Resources. They only removed one account from my credit report. I have called over 20 times in the last 3 months requesting someone to call me back. I keep being told that the manager is handling the account. I have requested to have a letter sent to me about the removal of the one account, but once again nothing. I can not believe that this company can completely ignore my requests. I am not the medical insurance holder and I have never signed anything or even walked into XXXX XXXX. How can this company ruin my credit and not even return my phone calls. I honestly do not know what else to do to get them to return my phone call and remove the account from my credit report that is not mine.

After seeing a collection on my credit report. I reviewed my report I did not receive any letter or any correspondence from this collection agency what so ever in reference to a debt owed. After reviewing my credit report, I then contacted the collection agency via certified mail, they received the notice with my information/dispute & correct address where I could be reached. Informed them to provide me with the information and proof of debt and I never received a update or communication via mail. Sent the company the dispute on XX/XX/2021 via certified mail for the amount of {$1200.00} They received the dispute on XX/XX/2021. They put Remark on my report : " Account Information Disputed by Consumer, Meets FCRA Requirements '' but never received any correspondence in reference to Proof of debt via mail being I have no idea of what this debt is in relation to. again I provided my Current and correct address. Also, my report has my updated correct address on file as well. I have also sent out a additional letter due to no response, again with the address they should be sending correspondence to. XXXX XXXX XXXX is continually attempting to collect a debt for a man named XXXX XXXX ( not sure how to spell his last name ). I have been receiving phone calls for well over 2 years regarding his debt. I have spoken to this company approx 50 % of all calls made to me and i have repeatedly told them that i do not know who this man is, i am not associated with him ; i have even gone as far as speak to a supervisor and gave them MY information. I have heard every excuse for a solution " we will remove your phone number '' " oh the phone number you are giving me is not on his account '' .... how else am i being contacted then? I have full access through their automated system to this man 's personal financial information, and as i have advised this company on numerous occasions, is illegal for me to access, but they are continuing to give me access. When phone calls are made, i try to use the auto system to say i am not this man. i still receive phone calls. If i go through the system to speak to a representative, i have full access to this man 's debt information. I have contacted them directly, and nothing is being done about this matter.

On my credit report, this debt is listed in " collection '' with a balance of {$33000.00}. First, I have never received medical treatment from this doctor ; XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have never been in his office. I don't know him and I don't know who he is. Second, I have never received a bill from this doctor at my primary address. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX my auto insurance paid all my medical bills to the XXXX where I was admitted for an XXXX In addition, I also have health insurance to cover my medical bills. I appreciate that the pertinent actions are taken to denounce before the law and sue this doctor XXXX XXXX XXXX that he intends to defraud. Upon reviewing my XXXX credit report I noticed XXXX discrepancies on my report been reported from Independent Recovery Resources. According to this company they are a debt collection agency which whom is collecting a debt from XXXX XXXX. I never had an account or business with XXXX XXXX. I disputed this account in the past and they ceased reporting me but again they have came back. Independent Recovery Resources is affecting my credit and affecting certain aspects of my life due to this negatively reflecting on my credit history. Independent Recovery Resources reached out to me in the past ( a few years ago ) and never clarified what this was from but continued harassing me, I disputed and now again like I stated they are reporting me. I have not received any contact from this company in a while so I do not understand why they are back on my credit report.

I have sent several letters to this agency asking for discovery. No one at this agency called Independent Recovery has sent me any proif of debt. The debt is under XXXX XXXX. My name is XXXX XXXX. They advised my file was being handled by an attorney whos number was given to me by XXXX the collections dept supervisor. I called this attorney and he has not returned my call. This has been going on for almost a year. Please help me they have violated fcra requirements. XXXX number is XXXX XXXX. The attorney who refuses to discuss with me or return my calls name is XXXX XXXX his NUMBER is XXXX XXXX. Ive asked for proof several times and by law if they cant provide it they must remove it. I have been called for months by a company called Independent Recovery Resources , Inc. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, New York ; phone ( XXXX ) XXXX. They claim to be looking for someone named XXXX. When I advise that there is no one here named XXXX, they hang up. I suppose being rude is one of the job skills required to work for this company. If so, they have definitely managed to obtain the most skilled workers there. Today, I spoke to a bristly lady who would identify herself only as XXXX ( Operator XXXX ) who abruptly hung up when I tried to ascertain the nature of the debt and on whose behalf IRR was working. I also wanted her agreement not to harrass us further. I was civil but she abruptly hung up anyway. When I called back, the only option given was to leave a message.

I believe I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Pandemic, we have been facing a lot of problems in terms of financial, emotional, and physical aspects. Also, I have been hearing a lot of recent news that the Bureaus are having data and system issues. I disputed the fraudulent information from my credit report. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I have done many attempts to reach out to the Bureaus but they failed to give me any results or feedbacks about this concern. Please investigate and remove it from my personal credit file. Thank you.

Independent Recovery Resources is a collection agent that was allegedly hired by my doctor 's office. They filed an adverse complaint against my credit report in XX/XX/2019 after the account was allegedly placed in collections with them on XX/XX/2019. However, I paid the account on XX/XX/2019 and provided written evidence to this effect on XX/XX/2019. The doctor 's office confirmed that the account was not in collections and the matter should not have been reported to the credit bureau. As of today, there is still an adverse report on my credit report. Please penalize this business for their illegal acts and order them to remove the matter from my credit account.

Phone number XXXX keeps calling my home and leaving the following message : " We have an important message from Independent Recovery Resources, Incorporated. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call XXXX. '' When you call the provided number, it gives you their contact information ( IRR, Inc.
