IDA should be ashamed of their predatory collections and business practices during this state of emergency involving COVID-19 global pandemic. Though I've made ALL payments on time, IDA would not work with me on payment arrangements since my paycheck was significantly short this month. They should not be allowed to prey on the working poor, and they must provide hardship programs during this pandemic. Today, it was made obvious to me THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS BY PAYING OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH INTEREST RATES. I contacted them via email on XX/XX/XXXX stating : " Hello. As this COVID-19 crisis has hit us, I've not been at work for several weeks now and will tentatively return to work on XX/XX/XXXX. I just got paid and was disgustingly shocked at how much was taken out of my check in addition to not being paid for the " extra '' like after school tutoring ( I turned in my timesheet so not sure why that wasn't on my paycheck ). The amount is significantly lower to really limit me in paying all of my bills, including my car payment. I've attached XXXX 's, XXXX 's, XXXX 's, and XXXX 's paychecks for documentation of the drastic difference in pay. Being my bank account was already overdrawn and had already gone over my overdraft privilege of - {$500.00}, this significant decrease in pay has seriously hurt my family in such desperate times. I'm letting you all know in writing so we can work together to come up with a solution .... possible deference until I receive our stimulus check of roughly {$3400.00} ... .partial payment until I get paid again and can caught up on the past due balance. After rent, water, lights, and car insurance, I have {$300.00} left and haven't bought enough groceries and supplies to get us through this quarantine. It's my greatest hope we can work together on a solution to get my account paid up as soon as possible. Thank you! '' I received a threatening text from one of IDA 's reps today stating, " Payment is past due. Vehicle will be repossessed and/or disabled if payment isn't made. Broken payment arrangement on XX/XX/20. Please contact IDA immediately. '' Well, I'd already emailed them to document in writing and providing documentation ( my last four paycheck stubs indicating this month 's drastic difference in my pay ). I also called today to explain what's going on but had to leave a message. A rude rep returned my call and cut me off before I could even explain what was going on and how it's affecting my family. She said she received my email and that they don't do hardship programs. I offered to make one weekly payment of {$140.00}, and she refused my offer. My loan was sold to IDA in XXXX, GA by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, GA without my knowledge until after the fact. IDA is charging outrageous interest rates. {$140.00} weekly for a XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX miles on it is ludicrous. However, with my husband going through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX within 3 months time back in XXXX, our credit has suffered as a result of him being on XXXX now, and we were forced to purchase a vehicle from a shady used car dealership. They prey on the working poor, and it's shameful. Since my loan was purchased by IDA, I've only received two receipts so I never know how much I'm paying down on my debt. You can only pay online if your account is current. They keep telling me I'm past due {$600.00}, but I began making payments with them as soon as I received paperwork from them in the mail. Their business practices are unethical and highly questionable. Their customer service reps also need to be trained in how to deal with their customers in a nice, sympathetic, and professional manner. During this COVID-19 pandemic, auto loan companies like IDA should not be sending threatening texts when families are already under a high level of stress. They should not be allowed to use predatory collection measures during a state of emergency. These people have no moral compass whatsoever. I email Mr. XXXX, the owner, personally forwarding the email I'd sent to their general email address. I have not received a response just as I did not receive a response from the customer service rep though she admitted to reading it. She had the time to send a nasty text, however. This company needs to be stopped immediately before other families such as mine are hurt too. To the owner of IDA, I also added in my email : " A customer service rep of yours was very unsympathetic to my family 's situation this morning and was borderline rude to me and then to my husband when he called back after I was in tears after getting off the phone with her. See emails and documentation of my significant decrease in pay this month attached below. I have XXXX sons at home during this quarantine. Thanks to IDA, I have been forced into making my full car payment instead of seeing my children get what they need during this pandemic. I thought surely someone at IDA would have a heart and offer some kind of help, but I was sorely wrong. I urge you, sir, to provide customers some type of financial relief during this COVID-19 pandemic. I understand your business is open to make profits, but considering the high interest rates charged I feel a temporary deferment plan could be implemented. I have a college student, a high school student, and a XXXX year old with XXXX that are depending on me and to have transportation in order to get supplies while we're in quarantine. I have {$200.00} in my bank account. My husband 's XXXX of a whopping {$720.00} comes in Friday. XXXX is giving us until Friday to pay {$600.00}. Please advise how we can give most of our money to IDA and feed our family. We can't get govt. assistance, churches are handing out very little food, and we do not have any family support system. When we make this payment on Friday, just know my children will be doing without due to IDA 's unethical, predatory business practices. If any solution can be made, I'm more than willing to work with you all. I've made my payments faithfully since my loan was sold to IDA. I've received two receipts the entire time I've been a customer and both were from XXXX XXXX who was always very nice. The other reps really need training in customer service. Please help me with a solution in order to best provide for my family. '' It is my greatest hope the owners and employees of Independent Dealer Advantage LLC will correct their methods and business practices, especially when it comes to collections. This really should be illegal during a national crisis.

Customer service rep sent threatening text to my cell phone and was very rude and judgmental in her attempts to collect on our account over the phone. We typically pay our lien holder, IDA LLC on the last business day of the month equaling to 4 or 5 weeks worth of payments. The payments are {$140.00} a week. We purchased our XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and still owe {$7400.00}. Our loan was sold to IDA LLC and was told about it after the fact. We've been paying {$140.00} a week since XX/XX/XXXX and owe more money than what the vehicle is worth. This is preying on poor people and people trying to build their credit back!!! On XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I spoke to customer service rep XXXX XXXX whom we've had problems with before. My husband explained he's XXXX and just started to work part time to help more paying bills. On XX/XX/XXXX I could only make one payment of {$140.00} XXXX they charge {$7.00} to process payments over the phone or on online which is ridiculously expensive ). My husband also called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to explain our situation of being severely overdrawn at our bank ( almost - {$900.00} XXXX when I got my direct deposit paycheck on XX/XX/XXXX hence why we could only make one payment. He negotiated arrangments with XXXX XXXX to make another two payments on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX. His paycheck was less than {$300.00}, and we have 3 boys in our household to feed. We were {$40.00} short on the two payments. Today XXXX XXXX sent a text to my cell phone stating to call her immediately at IDA to avoid our vehicle being disconnected ( shut off ) and that our account was " PAST DUE. '' " Make payment immediately to avoid further action. '' XXXX XXXX also called my cell phone and immediately took a rude tone with me. She accused me of lying about the payment arrangements made by my husband stating she had nothing on file after he'd just spoken to her. I attempted to remind her of the phone conversation that took place and tried to explain why they payment was {$40.00} short on XXXX. XXXX. She told me in a very rude tone that {$40.00} makes a big difference. As a mother of 3 boys and two stepdaughters, I became a little upset, began to cry, and asked her to tell me what she would have me do when I can not even have enough money to feed my kids right now. I asked her again to please advise me what to do while I was still crying, and she hung up. My husband called her back, and XXXX XXXX lied again that i hung up on her which is completely false. XXXX XXXX finally admitted she remembered the payment arrangements made to make payments weekly until we're caught up. IDA 's predatory collection and loan buying/servicing practices and poor ( worse than poor ) customer service needs to be addressed! This is one of several times IDA and XXXX XXXX have made threatening texts about shutting off our vehicle even though we're continuing to pay on this outrageously expensive loan that we had no part in borrowing from them. We're a family of five doing our best to make it through a pandemic. We have applied for help to get food and was denied. IDA offers no kind of help during the pandemic which is unethical and just bad business ... showing they care nothing about their customers who make them A LOT of money. They just prey on the working poor and harass and threaten them if just a day late with payment. All texts to my cell phone have been " call immediately, '' " PAST DUE, '' " PAY IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID FURTHER ACTION AND DISCONNECTION. '' We are responsible, loyal customers of theirs. I demand better, more respectful and compassionate customer service from XXXX XXXX and anyone representing IDA. During a pandemic when tensions, anxiety, and worry about our children is already at an all-time high, they have no right treating their customers this way.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I made my car payment of {$420.00} cents as I do every month on the XX/XX/XXXX. My car payment isn't due until the XX/XX/XXXX of each month, but I pay it early each month. This particular month, I didn't know that I would be trading my car in on the XX/XX/XXXX ( which was an upside down loan, the car was worth less than I still owed on it, and the interest rate was absolutely horrible, as well as the company who it was financed though. ) This amount was never applied to my loan balance until the XX/XX/XXXX. I attempted to get my money back from the company and my bank, XXXX. The company ( IDA, Independent Dealers Advantage..a perfect name for them btw, as they take advantage of people with their predatory lending ) was contacted on the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX asking how I could get my money refunded, as when I traded the car in on the XX/XX/XXXX, the car was paid off by the dealership that I'd received my new car from. I was told that I would need to reach out to my bank XXXX in order to get my money refunded. I did that and had to file a dispute of payment on my debit card. My claim was denied as XXXX claims that it was a valid transaction. I never said that it was not a valid transaction and that is not the reason that it was disputed. I disputed it as i was told by IDA that was the only way I could get my money refunded. This charge was pending on my account until XX/XX/XXXX, which is after my car had been paid off by the dealership who gave me my new car. It was applied to my payment after the fact that the car had in fact been paid off. Before I attempted to file a dispute claim, I tried to do a stop payment with my bank. I was told that since the payment wasn't showing as a recurring charge on their software, that it couldn't be stopped. I can show a years worth of payments made on that same date if needed. This company also screwed me out of a GAP insurance refund as well, which I know for a fact that I was suppose to receive as well, as I'd never used the insurance and since the car was paid off when it was traded in, you're suppose to receive a GAP insurance refund. I contacted the company about that as well, and was told that there was not a refund to be given as the insurance was added on to the loan at the time. All I would like is my money back, as it was applied to my car loan after the fact that the car was traded in and already paid off. I would also like my GAP refund to be given. This company is the absolute worse ( Just search their name on XXXX and see all of the terrible reviews and how they take advantage of people ) and XXXX failed me with their dispute system, as the reason they gave why the claim was denied had nothing to do with the reason the claim was filed in the first place.

I got a car from a company in XXXX of XXXX In XXXX of XXXX that company transferred my contract to another company. Ever since the transfer I have had phone calls telling me that I am late on my payments. And every time I call in to make my payments I am harassed about being late. The truth of the matter is that I have been paying a week ahead since I got the vehicle. I called the company and spoke with one of the managers and went through my original contract along with my bank statements showing the dates on which I have made payments. My first payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX I made my first payment on XX/XX/XXXX other then a week period when I have no idea that my contract had been transferred to a new company because the old one did not answer the phone I have paid every week. Once I found out who the new company was I made a two week payment to catch myself back up. The two week payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX My final payment to the old car company was made on XX/XX/XXXX. The payment on XX/XX/XXXX would have been for the Friday the following week XX/XX/XXXX. I did not make a payment the week of the XX/XX/XXXX because I did not know my contract had been transferred. When I did find out I made the payment for two weeks on XX/XX/XXXX. The new car company IDA refuses to change this in their system. They are also charging me XXXX fee to pay my bill that I can not avoid. The old car company ( XXXX ) charged no fee and was located fifteen miles from my residence. IDA is located over four hours from my residence and refuses to drop that credit processing fee. The processing fee is listed no where in my original contract. My over all experience with IDA has been lees then positive and their business practices are very underhanded. I plan on suing this company for breach of contract. As well as not informing me within the legally aloud time frame of ten days of the transfer i had to investigate myself to figure out who had my contract.

In XX/XX/XXXX I was in a car accident which totaled my car. My insurance company paid majority of what was left on my loan with Independent Advantage Dealers ( IDA ) and I paid the remainder. On XX/XX/XXXX I made my final payment of {$710.00}, and have a confirmation email from XXXX XXXX to prove this. Up until this point of my final payment I made sure to make all my biweekly payments until I could afford to pay the whole remaining balance. I thought everything was good on my end until XX/XX/XXXX, over 2 years later I receive a letter from XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that they are contacting me on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX as assignee of IDA stating that I owe {$780.00}. During these 2 years I have never received anything from IDA saying that I owed anything else after my final payment. I never received any form of contact from them at all. I sent a letter to the law office AND to IDA stating proof of validation of the debt and gave them a copy of the confirmation email of my final payment. On XX/XX/XXXX I received another letter from the same law office giving me the name, address and account number of the alleged debt that I owe. Instead of the amount showing {$780.00}, they now say that I owe {$570.00}! Where are they coming up with these numbers? One day I owe them over {$700.00} and now they say I only owe a little over {$500.00}. I do not understand how they can say that I owe one thing and thing try to say I owe another. It proves even more how they do not even know what they're talking about and most likely do not even have my records still. I definitely feel like they are trying to scam me out of more money since I never once received any contact in this 2 year span, but once an attorney sends me a letter it goes directly to my new address that has changed 2 times since I paid off the car loan.

My car was repossessed a few weeks ago. I called them and told them to please come get the vehicle. It was a financial hardship on me and I could no longer afford the vehicle. They never come to get it till a few weeks ago. I had filed a complaint on my credit report and shortly after that they did send a recovery tow service to take the vehicle. The problem now is they are still reporting the vehicle as not paid and late on my credit report. The vehicle was a voluntary repossession due to financial hardship. My last known payment to IDA finance company on the vehicle was in XX/XX/2019. I need this to be resolved. When I call the company they are very rude and unprofessional to me and I feel I do not have to listen to people talk to me this way. The vehicle shows I owe over 10,000 and this vehicle XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX value is only around 6,000. I had only paid a little over 2,000 towards the vehicle when it was repossessed due to the way the principal and financing of the vehicle. I would have never paid this vehicle off! Please help me resolve this!

IDA, Independent Dealer 's Advantage, LLC contacted me, XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021 with uncomfortably profane threats involving collection of debts. Letter attached also I have been constantly harrassed with telephone calls in my working hours of the day totaling 10 or more calls on workdays starting on the XXXX of XXXX. I was not honored with full disclosure of the terms but I now realize the car I purchased from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021 was settled on the day of the transaction, as all that was owed was secured by security interest in my vehicle. IDA has committed one violation after the other as evidenced by the letter ( s ) attached. There a two negative remarks on my credit report for XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. My payment was due XX/XX/XXXX and I made the full payment XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX, the car dealership IDA took XXXX dollars of my payment and applied it to collateral protection insurance payment with out my knowledge. So when my XX/XX/XXXX payment came due and I made my car payment they advised me that the rest of my XXXX payment was not paid because they applied the funds to the CPI with out my knowledge. The same thing happen to my XXXX payment as well. I have been making my car payments within 30 days and it is not with in the FCRA for them to allocate my payments to where they want them to go and then report me as being 30 days late XXXX and XXXX payments when I paid my car payments in full.
