I manage the admin for our small consulting firm and we recently received a piece of mail from a company called " XXXX '' addressed to a former employee of ours underneath our firm name and address. I opened it, and it contains what looks to be a genuine credit card with the former employee 's name and a card number, it does n't look like one of those fake mocked up cards you get in solicitations. There is a sticker on the card that gives a phone number to call to activate the card, which offers ( it says ) a {$150000.00} line of credit. This was not a solicited offer, but it looks real and is so disingenuous, I wanted to bring it to your attention. On the piece of printed paper the card is attached to, it states the following sort of statements : " You have been selected for a business line of credit of {$150000.00}. Activate Your Card Now. '' " Here is your new XXXX XXXX Premium Platinum card '' - and then goes into steps you can take to activate the card. On the rear of the sheet of paper, in small print it states, " This is not an offer of credit. XXXX reserves the right to verify your financial information and confirm your credit worthiness in its sole discretion. This will include, but is not limited, verifying banking and trade relationships and obtaining credit reports. XXXX Fraud Program protects the owner of this business. '' I worry that there are vulnerable, susceptible people who may get solicitation like this and act on them, so wanted to bring it to your attention. The phone number to activate the card is listed as XXXX.

I received in the mail an unsolicited credit card in my deceased husband 's name, at the address of the family farm for XXXX XXXX Preferred Card with a {$500000.00} available credit. Only tele-phone number is to activate card ( XXXX ), same with email address ( XXXX ). I could only find on the computer an address for this company that seems to be a fake -- in California. From internet research this is a scam which previously had slightly different company name and an address in AZ. I want to be certain that this company knows this card is illegal and is stopped from sending these. I am concerned about identity theft and that something awful could happen to my finances as a result of this. I want to be sure that it wo n't influence my credit score or reporting. The letter that came with the card has the disclaimer on the back that it is not an offer of credit, but that XXXX XXXX wants to verify financial information and credit worthiness. I want to be sure they can not access this information. It is not possible to contact the company directly since the only available phone number or address are to activate or seem to be fakes.

I am a business owner, and I received a very authentic looking credit card from " XXXX '' naming myself and my business. The card itself looks real, and the sheet it is attached to -- with sections like " Available Credit, '' " Activity Since Last Statement, '' " Here is your new XXXX Premium Platinum Card '' and small, again authentic-looking print promising " No activation or annual fees '' and " Enjoy 0.0 % or no payments for 90 days '' -- also looks credible. But when you look closer, you see some curious things like an enormous credit limit of $ XXXX and being valid only through XXXX ( just weeks after I received it ). Most insidiously, the card provides a number to " CALL NOW TO ACTIVATE. '' That number is XXXX. A website is also provided for activation : www.notablecapital.com. I did n't go there, but I do see it ranked third on XXXX after two links describing the whole operation as a scam. At best, this card will frighten many into thinking that their identities have been stolen. At worst, it is an attempt to defraud people.

I received an unsolicited business credit card for from XXXX, a company that I do not know, never did business with, nor requested information from. I never contacted this company nor solicited any credit card / loan, but they send me a credit card ( loan ) for {$500000.00} - Which is absurd. I would like to request for this company to stop calling me and stop mailing us this kind of unsolicited offers, because I do not want any of it. Today I called the company at number : XXXX to request to be removed from their list and make sure they stop sending this offers and the employee said that is not possible and said someone from my company requested this. This explanation is impossible because my company has no employees, only volunteers. PS : all of our volunteers have no access to any financial information either.

I received from Notable Capital of XXXX AZ on XX/XX/2016 a " Platinum Lease Card '' which I did not request. This card contains a full 16-digit card number, effective and expiration dates, my name & a magnetic strip on the reverse. It is accompanied by a letter showing available credit of {$150000.00} with a phone number and code for activation of the card. I never authorized them to send me offers of credit nor have I ever conducted business with their organization. It is my understanding that you have no right to send me these kinds of unsolicited offers. I am on the National Opt-Out Registry with the 3 major credit reporting bureaus. They should remove my name from their list for any further mailings and remove any information they may have added to my credit record immediately.

XXXX sent me a credit card in the mail claiming " Here is your new XXXX Card '' with a credit line of $ 150XXXX. They put my name and my company name on the card. The card had a " call now to activate '' sticker on front, just like a new credit card would have. Neither I nor my company requested a card or line of credit. When I looked on back of the letter in fine print it said, " This is not an offer of credit. We reserve the right to verify your financial information and confirm your credit worthiness. Includes but not limited to verifying banking and credit info. I believe this is a ploy to get you to give your info over the phone and they prey on unknowing people who trust the mail they get.

I recently received a credit card in the mail for which I did n't request. I know that this is a scam in that my name was printed twice on the card. XXXX with my middle initial. I contacted the company XXXX XXXX and they would not provide any information about the company, how they acquired my information, etc. I told them I wanted the specifics on this card and the representative would not provide any details. I informed them I would contact the FTC and they said " go for it '' as if they were above any laws. Their website is very vague and does n't provide any company information, just a page to enter credit card information.

I received an unsolicited credit card for my business, ready for activation upon its arrival. The scary part is that there is an actual card, with a {$150000.00} limit, addressed to a former Board of Director that has not been active in my organization for over 15 years. It is from XXXX, a company I have never heard of. I often receive solicitations or credit applications, but never one like this. I would be very afraid of what someone could do with a card like this to my companies credit, and all of the headaches that would ensue. Thank you for your help with this matter.

I received a letter in the mail today with a credit card attached. It came in a regular white envelope and informed me that I need to activate my account through XXXX. It states there is a 0.0 % introductory offer. It gives a phone number to activate the card. The available credit is {$150000.00}. It states the member since XX/XX/2016 and valid through XX/XX/2016. On the back of the card there is nowhere to sign the card and there is also no CVV number. It offers a phone number or website to activate the card. There are two names listed on the card.

I have received numerous unsolicited phone calls offering my business loans lately. I have used the option to stop receiving calls or told the person I am not interested and to take my company off their list. Instead the calls keep coming and now they sent me a credit card in the mail that I did not ask for or agree to. The card is from XXXX XXXX, it claims to be a $ 150XXXX limit card that I am to call to activate. No terms, just the card and instructions on how to activate it. I think it 's a scam Ph # to call is XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Got an unsolicited credit card in the mail. Call now to activate got a human, not a computer service. Asking for supervisor got " He is not in yet ''. Credit limit was {$150000.00}. IMCA Capital. XXXX. Return address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. Activate on line at www.activatecardnow.com. This appears to be a site to loan money to small businesses, not a CC supplier. I consider this deceptive advertising and a considerable nuisance as well. It made me suspect identity theft.

I received an unsolicited offer of credit with a pre-made credit card with my personal name and company name on it, requiring only a phone call to activate. My concern is that this card offer could be intercepted and activated by anyone, who could fraudulently and easily obtain {$150000.00} credit in my name. I assume this same offer has probably made to many others. Issuing company : IMCA Capital

Received a suspicious letter in the mail offering credit to my personally owned XXXX. Letter contains a " card '' with numbers, my name, a misspelling of my company 's name and says call to activate. The card lacks any emblem for XXXX, XXXX, or other processing companies and is offering {$150000.00} in credit at 0 % for 90 days. I immediately recognized it as a scam and am now reporting it.
