Illinois Lending has been contacting me about loan payment. I have already notified them that I have sent several written checks to their offices, to which they say they can not accept because they have no correspondence with the office I sent it to due to it being closed. I have made them aware that since these came from my electronic bill pay account through my bank, the money has already been taken for submission to them and I am awaiting the time where it is re-credited to my account. After this, the company started calling me more than once within an hour and then started calling me privately and leaving voicemails. I would sometimes get calls back to back from my regular phone from their XXXX number, then private calls from them following this with left voicemails identifying themselves, and later within the day they would call my business to speak with me and after speaking with me would call right back to let me know that they need payments after we had just discussed it. I have been contacted by XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and several others both by anonymous ( private call ) and regular call with identification over 30 times this week alone and we are only 3 days in.

In XXXX of XXXX ; Due to financial hardship, I took out a loan from Illinois Lending. The original loan amount was for {$600.00}. I felt suckered into refinancing with them, because they offered or promised lower payments. They neglected to tell me about the high interest that would be tacked. Due to health issues, I defaulted for the first time in XX/XX/XXXX. Despite my contacting them and trying to work out a payment arrangement, they immediately sold my account to a collection agency. The collection agency has been overly aggressive by sending a letter to my job and calling me 3 times a day, 6 days a week. I am to understand that despite me paying {$50.00} XX/XX/XXXX, my balance is approximately {$1300.00}. They refuse to drop the illegally added interest or work with me in any reasonable form.
