XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX received debt collection letter from Illinois Collections Inc, despite the letter being dated XX/XX/XXXX, postmarked XX/XX/XXXX and post meter stamped XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. ( see attached letter and envelope ) XX/XX/XXXX - I called Illinois Collections Inc and talked to XXXX XXXX who demanded I provide my date of birth and last 4 digits of my social security number before she would talk to me despite me verifying my address, name and XXXX name she was collecting the debt for. I refused to confirm personal identifiable information as Illinois Collections Inc or their client would not have this information. She advised all correspondence needed to be in writing. XX/XX/XXXX - Illinois Collections Inc debt collection is reported to major credit bureaus XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX sent a certified letter to Illinois Collections Inc requesting debt verification ( see attached letter ). XX/XX/XXXX- The certified letter is received and signed by Illinois Collections Inc ( see attached receipt from XXXX ) XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX dispute the debt collections with the credit bureaus XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX report Illinois Collections Inc to the XXXX XXXX XXXX as per law, Illinois Collections Inc had to respond to our debt verification request within 30 days ( deadline date of XX/XX/XXXX ). To the present date, I have not received the requested debt verification information. XX/XX/XXXX - I submit complaint to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
