Very simply put CFPB is not doing its job here! You can not collect on a dept that is XXXX XXXX XXXX period! That is my argument and if CFPB will not address this issue I will go up the chain of command on this issue! Please do your job what is going on here is not legally right and must be addressed asap!
The state of Ohio is trying to collect on a dept dated XXXX over 12 years ago! This is not legally allowed based on our laws! thank you kindly for reaching out to me. I will do my best to refine my concerns on this issue here so it is very easy to follow. I want to say that I was responsible for paying {$3700.00} a month for 5 years straight and still pay for a 2nd mortgage on the side, child support and I was XXXX for 3 of those years because I had limited funds. Also I had about 5 jobs at the time to try and keep everything going. So to receive this letter from an issues back in XXXX ( 12 YEARS AGO ) is so crazy! You have to know how crazy this is! Next this law firm has a history of this to people. Lies to collect funds. 1. The actual occurrence they claim happened was in the year of XXXX PERIOD! 2. The federal bankruptcy court has released my deed to my house after the bankruptcy and sent a statement showing everything was completed in full so for this law firm to try and go against the federal government is not how this works. 3. There is a statute of limitations on this they have went well past 4. They made up fees and interest I owe cant be true because nobody has said anything to me about this till three weeks ago. ( Attached are the forms show this ) XXXX. My lawyer who is my brother and advising me as a family member has state they have no legal right to come after me based on a XXXX incident! 6. They went as far as to file a lien on my house Im asking for this to be lifted asap there is not legal grounds they can argue or code they can reference that allows them to collect on this incident back in XXXX especially when the Federal Government has already said everything was satisfied. ( They are trying to twist the occurrence and say it has to do with the bankruptcy and that ended in XXXX but the actual issue was XXXX not XXXX this twist is not legal or have grounds or true argument. If my phone bill is missed bill in XXXX and I still use the phone company they cant go back and make that same claim because I have their service still! ) There is not legal reference that was addressed in court that shows they have a right to do this! I know this for a fact and you must acknowledge this not brush it aside. I am prepared to file a case against them if I have to here that is how angered I am about this! 7. Lastly I received a second aggressive letter from them that was phrased as if they were replying to my complaint and acting like you as the authority! This is not allow. Im appreciative that you have reached out to me and you must know I have filed a two different federal complaints about this and Im reaching out to bankruptcy court to report them too. I also will be calling the news and watch dog groups if it is needed. I refuse to be bullied any more about something that happened 12 years ago. Apologies in advance if my letter is aggressive but to be honest Huffman firm has pushed me way to hard with all this.
