I purchased a home on XX/XX/XXXX, through The Home Lending Group, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MS XXXX, contact number XXXX. I was contacted by XXXX XXXX, contact number XXXX, regarding the fact that they were having difficulty in selling my loan to XXXX XXXX. They advised me to have modifications made to my homeowners insurance policy to meet the criteria that XXXX XXXX required. This would increase my monthly mortgage payment by {$70.00} per month. However, once I advised them to send me that request in writing they advised me that they had been able to have XXXX XXXX to make an exception in my case! At that point I was called by another representative and asked to make my mortgage payment that day XX/XX/XXXX because XXXX XXXX wouldn't be able to buy the loan until I made the payment which is documented as {$740.00}. I have paid this mortgage amount for the last two months and I have received a statement from XXXX stating that my mortgage payment is now {$770.00} and will be {$780.00} monthly for XXXX. While the amounts are small I do not understand how my mortgage payment can change during the first year. Additionally, the Home Lending Group is the most unprofessional mortgage company I have had the misfortune of dealing with, the incompetence was and is astonishing.

Due to close on loan XX/XX/XXXX. Finished final contingencies in loan for full approval XX/XX/XXXX. Signed docs and wired money in XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX {$110000.00} for down payment. Loan never funded XX/XX/XXXX blamed being short handed from Covid. Extended close to XX/XX/XXXX. My lender quit during this period. Contacted owner of lending company via texts and emails why I didnt close XX/XX/XXXX. Owner of The Home Lending Group, XXXX XXXX admitted via text his lines of credit were suspended two weeks earlier. Two weeks before my close he still had me go through approval process knowing he couldnt fund it! Contacted him daily until XX/XX/XXXX, I realized I had been defrauded and I started contacting attorneys about this situation. Scrambled to find new lenders to help me close in a timely fashion without the sellers backing out of deal! Meanwhile I made financial obligations to people in regards to work to be done once closed. There are many others that lost their homes due to not being funded. Lenders never got paid. People displaced/homeless!! Some of the evidence provided are from the texts XXXX sent to my realtor XXXX.
