Name of Company : HELBING LAW GROUP, XXXX Purpose : Credit Card help Duration : Over 1 year I enrolled with Helbing Law Group in XXXX of XXXX in pursuit of debt settlements with some short-term lenders. My account was established with a monthly payment of {$480.00}. XXXX As of today, I have paid over {$3500.00} to Helbing, yet my special purpose account contains just over XXXX. The remainder is eaten up by " fees '' - yet no legal work has been done. When I email them, I never receive a response or a generic " thank you for your sending your statements '' response. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and still have not received any Legitimate reason for no settlements to the 4 accounts I had them attend to. acknowledgment : '' I am writing to revoke my ACH authorization to Helbing Law Group and to cancel my participation in your payday loan settlement program. This is not a decision I came to lightly, but after paying them over $ XXXX for 14 months, I have XXXX settlements to show for it and only {$3000.00} in my special purpose account - when I have paid you over {$3500.00}. I do not believe they have ever even started to attempt to negotiate any of my balances or that any action has been taken on my accounts, as I still receive statements and emails from my creditors and collection agencies. I thought the company was a God-send and it turns out they are no better than the companies from which I was trying to get relief. At this time, I am requesting a FULL refund of {$3000.00}, which is all the money I have paid to this point. I would entertain the deduction of a small administrative fee ( which looks to be less than $ XXXX, so no more than {$100.00} ) for servicing my account during this time, but the funds I have provided have done nothing but line their pockets.I respectfully request a response and confirmation for my request in an expeditious fashion. " I sent a follow-up a voice message on XX/XX/XXXX which had also gone unanswered until I stopped paying them. At this time, I request a FULL REFUND of all monies paid to Helbing - totaling XXXX - since they have apparently done no work on my account, have reached no settlements with my creditors, and have earned no fees I've paid.
Also, my credit score went from XXXX to XXXX ... .I can not continue to be handled in this matter

My Helbing Law Group complaint XXXX of all, I started the program in hope to consolidate all my debts and those of my wife as well. all my debts were around {$11000.00} and they promised me to consolidate all my creditors debts settlements for {$7700.00}. and that i will have a quick settlement and i was very excited to get rid of my debts. since i started the program last year, i never miss a payment, i was always on time. I'm working hard to take care of my family as a part time worker. XXXX hit all my my incomes and I'm hustling to feed my family and take care of their education and medical bills. i already pay to Helbing law group a total amount of {$4000.00} in order fund my settlement, but i was badly surprised and frustrated when i verify my account and discover that they made only XXXX very small payments to creditors and none of my debt was paid off. they add another year to the program, thing that bring another problem that make make me very stressful and confused. Also when i calculate all the payments scheduled for program, i will end up paying another extra {$3300.00}. Now, i talked to some of my creditors and we agree on a very comprehensive and understandable payments plan which i started already. they said i can cancel at anytime but it seems they want me to continue the program. I'm tired, disappointed, confused and upset. i don't want anything from them now, i request only my money back, since creditors almost calls or emails me every single day. i really need to stop this and move on for helping my family for all their daily needs. i don't want no more being in this program i need an entire refund of what they did not pay to my creditors so i can take care all of my debts of by myself.

I have paid Helbing Law Group $ XXXX to settle my debts. All my accounts were in good standing when I signed up for the debt settlement agreement. They advised me to immediately stop payment to all the debtors so they could settle the debts for minimum 50 % of the outstanding balances. This caused the balances to greatly increase. They have not settled the debts as promised averaging 30 % debt reduction, which had they not gone to collections, I would have owed less than what they " settled '' a few of the account for. I recently found out that the debts would have reached their expiration date for collections, yet I am.still paying them to settle these debts and still paying on debts that reached their collection limit. When I reached out to them, in XX/XX/2023 to ask them for information on each debt, their term limit, justification for the amount I was still paying them, and what my escrow balance was all in writing, I never received any evidence or justification of amount I've been paying or what I had in my account. The associate on the phone gave me an answer that made no sense and could not answer why I am paying on the account that would have been uncollectible debt over a year plus ago. I feel I was scammed into a " program '' to pay off my debts at a reduced rate and my credit school which was good at the time is incredibly bad as a result.

I have paid over {$12000.00} to this company for a service that at first was provided. Since my final payment in XXXX this company has not honored in finishing their agreement to settling 3 accounts. Once I finished my part of the arrangement and I fully paid, suddenly I became the easiest to ignore. I have called, emailed, used the webpage contact us, and my login access page. All attempts from me to contact anyone of authority to finish their side and resolve my 3 accounts have been fully ignored. I have had no success in getting this company to honor their end and finish settlements. In phone calls to this company, I have even had individuals claim they could not see details ( dates ) and even so much as they can not send me to another person for assistance ( while others can do both ). This company worked hard when I was making active payments and then I had them fully paid off in XXXX. Now conveniently since XXXX and early XXXX this company has done nothing to finish their side of the commitment and finish the resolution process on 3 accounts. Now this company not only has taken over {$12000.00} from me but they have NOT done the service I paid for, and they have worked to actively ignore me on all my communication attempts to get them to finish what they have been paid to do.

I am assisting XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX 's only source of income is XXXX. Despite her very limited income, which is exempt from collection, Helbing Law Group induced her to sign up for its debt settlement services. She agreed to pay Helbing Law Group {$7300.00} from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX to settle XXXX debts totaling approximately {$10000.00}. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX paid Helbing Law Group a total of {$7600.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, there appears to have been an additional payment of {$3000.00}, which XXXX XXXX never authorized.
XXXX XXXX would like the additional {$3000.00} payment to be returned. She would also like written confirmation of which debts have been settled in full, as well as a refund for all fees corresponding to debts that were not settled in full.
I have tried contacting Helbing Law Group on several occasions, but they have refused to speak with me, despite receiving oral and written permission from XXXX XXXX.

I am dealing with a company called Helbing Law Group ; my Client ID : XXXX.I have a contract of XXXX payments of XXXX per mo. Ending of payment contract states XX/XX/2023. To date they have not paid a single debit off. This came to my attention when I got my tax refund this year and asked for a payoff amount which they wanted XXXX to pay off my contract. This is almost double my contract payoff. I started digging into this more and found not even a single card has been paid off. I am still getting negative marks on my credit report and I just got a lien on my house from XXXX. I called and asked for my money back. They told me basically I would get XXXX back and nothing to show of the XXXX XXXX plus I have already paid them. Here is their information. Can I take them to small claims court? Signed up with Helbing Law Group for debt consolidation on XX/XX/2019. Made XXXX monthly payments of {$540.00}, XXXX payments of {$830.00} and a legal fee of {$370.00}. I have been summoned to court both credit card companies. I learned today that Helbing never contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX on my behalf. I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating that I have an account balance of {$13000.00} and that I will need to pay them another {$14000.00}. XXXX also stated that my settlement amounts are XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX He never contacted the creditors on my behalf. I also had to pay the legal fee for representation to another creditor because they wanted to take my home. I am asking for assistance to get my {$22.00}, XXXX back from Helbing Law Group. I have sent emails and call everyday with no response. Helbing Law Group is debiting my bank account {$250.00} monthly.
i have called customer service 3 times in 30 days requesting email documentation of progress in negociating my 4 credit cards. No results XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX spoke with XXXX in customer service.
XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX XXXX in customer service she disconnected call.
I emailed Helbing Law group XX/XX/XXXX requesting current status of account. NO responce, Helbing law group deducts {$250.00} monthly from my bank account. I requested on XX/XX/XXXX to not debit my account again until i receive updated information. I received call today and was confirmed from their customer service that they will debit my account or I can't participate in program.
i asked for XXXX accounting of how much money they have in escow. No response.
I am told they are working for best seetlement percentage. NO PROOF of any work being done.

I agreed to a 2 & 12 program payments of {$330.00}, which was supposed to end on XXXX however the my client portal on there website which is Helbing Law Group they added XXXX extra monthly payments of {$330.00}. I checked again and they added another monthly payment. They have lied to me over the phone numerous time about the balance, also last XXXX 2021 i paid {$1000.00} so the can settle with home depot which i never agreed to. after they collect on XXXX of {$330.00}, i want to cancel and stop these payments by changes bank accounts so they can stop collecting is this the right thing to do, if not they will keep scam my money.

My Credit scores drop from the high 700s to the low 500 dealing with this fraudulent organization.
I also explained to them I'm not making the same amount of money since the Covid issues have diminished.
So I explained to them I want out of the program, because my salary is not the same.
But these criminals have not provided any useful information to help this solution.
They want the same payments. All the worry abut is the money. Now I see they reporting Im 60 days late, I not paying them anything. They need to refund what I put in like I asked.
I recommend nobody use this service.

To whom it may concern : I have been using Helbing Law firm LLC for 3.5 years. They claimed to be able to improve my credit to debt by reporting to all 3 credit agencies as I made monthly payments to them.
Helbing LLC. has only settled 1 account in the 3.5 years and has not been reporting my payments to the credit agencies. Also, Helbing has settlement amounts higher than the original amount as well as used my payments towards accounts that are not mine.
I have not heard from them for the past year until I threatened to make this claim.
