This complaint is a continuation of Complaint # XXXX. That Complaint was unfortunately closed without resolution. I am refiling that complaint as I have additional information today. The Heartland Resolution Group called me from XXXX on XXXX. The phone rang once and then disconnected so I called that number back. The person who answered purported to be a debt collector and said that I owed a debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I let that CSR know I do not owe them ( XXXX XXXX XXXX or Heartland Resolution Group anything becuase none of my medical bills are in collections or have gone unpaid. The CSR proceeded to press me for my personal information, which I declined to give. She hung up on me. I googled this company and they are a scam company with bad reviews. I XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and got their number and called them. I asked for them to review my account with them, as I saw they are affiliated with XXXX XXXX XXXX, which I have gone to for medical care in the past. They advised me, on a recorded line, that I do not owe them anything, other than a XXXX dollar invoice that is being billed to my insurance company, and is under review, so it is not in collections and I do not need to take any action, as far as payment on it, at this time. When I filed the prior Complaint # XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Complaints XXXX, from Heartland Resolution Group XXXX responded and basically said they can not move forward to resolve the complaint because they do not know who I am. He left this number for me to call - XXXX, which I called. When I called that number, a man answered and I asked him why is his company, Heartland Resolution Group, claiming that I have medical debt and that they are attempting to collect it, when I have no such thing. He looked up my account and provided me with their reference number XXXX and said that the medical debt is {$40.00}, it is under my son 's name, and that XXXX XXXX XXXX " gave '' them this account for them to collect from me. My son is XXXX XXXX XXXX. This CSR from Heartland Resolution Group did not give me a date of service for this alleged debt and I asked for the number they had for XXXX XXXX Phys. and he gave me XXXX, which is NOT the number for XXXX XXXX XXXX, it is for the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX. and they told me the same thing as before, that neither my son nor I have any debt with them, they see nothing has ever been sent to collections under me or my son for non-payment and furthermore they have NOT A CLUE as to who Heartland Resolution Group is. I want to know who XXXX is, how they got my son 's personal information, why they were attempting to collect that my son DOES NOT OWE and why they were so evasive and vague when confronted with direct questions from me.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received services at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio. After receiving this services, I was charged {$850.00} which I paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Heartland Resolution Group saying I owed an additional {$420.00} as a result of this hospital visit. Heartland Resolution Group explained in the email that they were a debt collector trying to collect a debt that I owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I called XXXX, they had no record of my account but said that's common when an account is sent to collection. I then called XXXX XXXX to ask if this sounded like an accurate charge, and they said they would send me an itemized receipt, but in the meantime said that it was POSSIBLE this was an accurate charge as hospital/facility charges and physician charges often come up as separate charges. I contacted Heartland Resolution Group directly to ask about the nature of the charges, and they had no details but offered to reduce my charge to {$100.00} if I paid before XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX was not able to mail me the itemized receipt before this date, so I felt I had no choice but to pay the {$100.00} to avoid paying more later. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received ANOTHER charge from Heartland Resolution Group saying I owed the rest of the {$420.00} debt, amounting to {$310.00}. Then on XX/XX/XXXX, I finally received the full itemized receipt from XXXX XXXX, and there was absolutely NO record of this {$420.00} charge. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Heartland Resolution Group again to ask what was going on and they said that my account had been sent " somewhere else, '' but they had absolutely no record of where my account went. The representative I spoke to said " I guess that might mean your case is closed, but I don't really know. '' I then asked him if he had record of the {$100.00} I paid, and he said no. I told him I had record of the receipt in my email, and he told me to hold on to that, and that I could go ahead and ignore the {$310.00} charge and " all further communications '' from Heartland Resolution Group.

This is a continuation of two prior complaints I have filed against Heartland Resolution Group LLC. The two prior complaints are XXXX and XXXX. Both of these complaints were closed because, according to Heartland Resolution Group, they " could not identify who has submitted this complaint ''. Heartland Resolution Group - here are YOUR REFERNCE numbers of accounts in YOUR computer systems, which YOU gave to ME. These should suffice to identify me as these are literally the reference/account numbers YOU ASSIGNED TO ME - # XXXX and # XXXX. I am not going to give any personal information over this platform, especially when these accounts are for a MINOR. You can look me/the minors account with those two reference numbers as they are YOURS, as noted in the letters YOU mailed to me. Heartland Resolution Group ( HRG ) is a scam company attempting to collect debt that is not owed and/or time barred. HRG works with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX as their unlawful " debt collectors ''. XXXX XXXX XXXX purchases medical and billing information from XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX sells their patient's/client 's personally identifiable information without written consent from the patient/client. Heartland Resolution Group has been mailed, by me a dispute letter disputing these unlawful and DEBTS NOT OWED. I have also included a CEASE AND DESIST all communications from Heartland Resolution Group to me. I do not owe you anything. I have called XXXX XXXX XXXX and inquired about these alleged debts. They have on all occasions on a recorded line stated that they have forwarded any unpaid medical debts under my or my son to XXXX XXXX XXXX and they even went so far as to deny knowing who HRG even is. Leave me alone, Heartland Resolution Group. Stop your unlawful debt collection practices. I do not owe you or anyone ANYTHING. I have reached out to an attorney for help as well my state 's Attorney General. You are a scam company. Get real jobs and stop preying on innocent consumers. Thanks.

The Heartland Resolution Group called me from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX around XXXX XXXX. My phone rang once and disconnected, so I called them back. They purport to be a debt collector company and alleged I owed a medical debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I told them I don't owe them or anyone any debt and none of my medical bills are in collections. They pressed me for personal information to " check my account " and I said no, and they hung up on me. I XXXX them and they are a scam company that goes by the names Heartland Resolution Group, Heartland XXXX XXXX, and/or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and asked them to check if any of my accounts with them are in bad standing or have gone to collections and they told me no, and that furthermore, they have no idea who the Heartland Resolution Group, XXXX or Heartland Group even are. I called Heartland back and let them know that I know they are a scam, fraud company and again they hung up on me. Read the reviews that are written about them online as it shows the extent of their con and fraud. They are basically conning people into setting up debt " payment plans ''. They keep the money you give them thinking you are paying off debt and do not give it to the real creditors. My outstanding bill with XXXX XXXX is around XXXX dollars and still in review with my insurance company so I have no clue how they even knew about it. I am reporting them to the Attorney General of my state for investigation. They are thieves of the lowest kind.

On XXXX I received a call from XXXX XXXX from Heartland Resolution Group. Says I owe {$48.00}, but they are willing to settle for {$12.00}. Date of incident is XXXX. From XXXX XXXX XXXX. On this date I was the victim of a rear end automobile accident. The other drivers insurance- XXXX XXXX my insurance XXXX XXXX paid all these claims. XXXX said the original bill was {$1100.00} & the adjusted payment was {$1100.00}. And I owe the balance. Due to its age, they will settle for {$12.00}. I let him know I'm no responsible for the bill. And the fact there was an adjusted amount, usually between companies, they negotiate the amount owed & payment was made & accepted. A company doesn't negotiate amount owed with insurance them go after the patient for rest, especially when the insurance company is 100 % responsible for all medical bills. I asked for a hard copy of bill owed to get nothing. XXXX won't speak to me because I'm represented by counsel. I di not plan to give my credit card info over the phone. And the rep said that even due to its age, it's almost going to fall off. I responded, if you are willing to reduce {$48.00} to {$12.00}. How bout you just zero this out. I do not owe & have no plans to pay. I pay bills I'm responsible for & that's it.

Received multiple phone calls from a company called Heartland Resolution Group claiming to be a debt collection agency about an outstanding debt of {$45.00} from an ER bill from 2016 they claim has been unpaid. I have no outstanding bills from any of my medical visits. The company, Heartland Resolution Group, is claiming I can pay {$6.00} to get the debt removed from my credit report. I have yet to receive any actual communication from Heartland other than the phone calls regarding this bill. When I asked for them to send me a copy of the statement from the ER/Hospital, they claimed they couldnt find which hospital I was being billed from and neither could they find the name of the doctor who serviced me. In speaking to a representative on a different occasion, they claimed they knew what hospital I was seen at and named said hospital. Talking to a different representative, I was given a completely different response. They also mentioned they received my unpaid bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX.

I received a letter from Heartland Resolution Group on XX/XX/XXXX intending to collect a debt that was already charged of as the original date of service was XX/XX/XXXX. I then started to receive calls from XXXX that lead to them. I called back and spoke to XXXX and I told her that I would be filling a complaint. I specifically asked not to contact me any longer. I just had to block the number as they called again after asking them not to do it. It seems like they're buying old charged off accounts that surpass the seven year mark and trying to submit it as new. The information on this letter is the account number they assigned of XXXX with an original account of XXXX. The original creditor is TX XXXX XXXX and date of service was XX/XX/XXXX. The letter stated that they purchased the account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Heartland Resolution Group sent me a collection letter dated XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to collect a debt from XXXX. They did not send me notification that they had acquired my debt and did not verify my debt. I had been receiving collecting calls from them as well before I changed my number. They are trying to collect on a debt that is over 11 years old! This is unacceptable and violates the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act in numerous ways. I called them once I recieved the letter and they told me the client withdrew their request to collect the debt and not to worry about it. I asked if I will receive a letter saying that and they told me maybe.

I have been harassed about this " debt '' for well over 7 years now. I originally had a medical bill from 2013, and paid it off a month or two later through my insurance. I have since been harassed by numerous agencies trying to collect on this " Debt '' despite the statue of limitations ( even if I did owe it ) ran out years ago. They claim I owe a debt from 2013, 8 years and 10 months ago. They are harassing me, claiming I owe a debt which I do not. They are even being unscrupulous in their efforts to try to force me to claim the debt is mine ( It isnt ) by saying I can pay a very small amount in 60 days ( which would make 9 years later )

I just received a collection notice from Heartland Resolution Group dated XX/XX/XXXX for a sate of service XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. All my medical bills received for that date of service were paid back in XXXX. I had no outstanding accounts. Additionally, I have not received anything until today about this. It's been over 10 years. I would like assistance looking into this claim to 1. make sure it is not fraud, but 2. also dispute this claim as the service was over the statute of limitations for NJ of 6 years. The amt is XXXX, but the comments say I have an opportunity to pay only XXXX. Something does not seem right here.

They ignored my request and continued to harass me by calling my phone 27 times from XXXX XX/XX/2022 after receiving my cease and desist which is a violation of 15 USC 1692d ( 5 ) They never responded to my request for validation of the alleged debt and they have had more than enough time to validate the alleged debt.

I have been getting calls all day from Heartland Resolutions Group. They called me 6 times one day. Every time I answered the phone it would be dead air. I tried calling back to find out what it was about. I could only reach a voicemail box. I left a message asking them to stop calling me not saying anything. They continued to call the last call I got. The lady threatened to continue calling me which I consider harassment. She wouldnt tell me what the call was about or anything. They have been harassing me during my work hours calling me very early in the morning and it has become a major problem for me.
