I was looking for a female physician and got an appointment with Dr. XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2019. While making the appointment on phone I had asked for her rates. I was informed that the very first, initial visit will be {$260.00}. It will be just a meet-and-greet type event, but NO treatment. Doctor and I will talk and discuss my health, build a relationship/rapport, and then, based on our discussion, the doctor will suggest future treatments and office visits. However, after my visit, they billed me {$390.00} instead of {$260.00}. I spoke with their billing department ( XXXX ) a few times, but no help. They would tell me that the doctor 's office has billed this and they can't do anything. ( The billing department is in a different state, making it inaccessible to patients. Almost impossible to meet a human in person to resolve the matter. Looks like they intentionally wear out a patient into financial " submission. '' ) I also visited the doctor 's office a couple of times, the billing manager there informed me that my " initial meeting '' went over their allotted 15-20 minutes and that's why they billed me {$390.00} instead of {$260.00}. NOBODY ever told me that the " initial visit '' had a time limit. In any event, the doctor herself talked a lot about her immigrant life and her health, without informing me that her talk would extend the time period and I would have to pay for it. Furthermore, it is reasonable for a patient to think that the " initial visit '' WITHOUT any diagnosis would be charged at the flat rate of {$260.00}, and NOT at an unknown random rate based on time count. If my visit had been over in 5 minutes, would they have charged me less than {$260.00}? Of course, not. I have read online that many patients have faced exaggerated bills from this service provider through its parent company -- XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NC. I tried to resolve this on my own, but now I have received a notice from a collection agency that they have sent this bill for collection. If they had charged me the agreed amount of {$260.00}, then {$300.00} paid by my insurance would result in a credit of {$40.00}. In other words, I would NOT owe anything and would not have to face collection harassment. Their approach to promise something on phone and then bill something else ( while keeping the patient in dark or uninformed ) is a classic example of luring a patient ( kind of entrapment ) by offering a low rate on phone ( without any detail or warnings ) and then giving a sticker shock later. Very shrewd way of fleecing a patient. This is clearly a deceptive and unfair trade practice. Many patients like me would have suffered financially and emotionally by such a cunning way of doing business. Hope CFPB office will look into this nefarious practice. Thanks for all your help.

Healthcare Receivables Group violated my H.I.P.P.A. rights once again and is attempting to collect on an alleged debt that does not belong to me. I have previously experienced unfair treatment from Healthcare Receivables Group. This is now my 3rd complaint about this company. Please be advised Healthcare Receivables Group are not Holders in Due Course. Healthcare Receivables Group received a validation notice from me stamped by the postmaster and received XX/XX/XXXX ; Healthcare Receivables Group have not responded and has continued to damage my credit files. An authorized representative from Healthcare Receivables Group responded to complaint no. : XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX stating their account would be deleted from my credit report and sent back to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX this account was NOT removed from my credit file and was actually UPDATED. I have uploaded a current credit report from XXXX to support that Healthcare Receivables Group continues to violate the FCRA & the FDCPA. On XX/XX/XXXX An authorized representative from Healthcare Receivables responded to complaint no. : XXXX stating their account was removed from my credit profile on XX/XX/XXXX and confirmation was confirmed on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX. I spoke with a customer service rep from XXXX. ( I will not name her. She was extremely helpful. ) Healthcare receivables UPDATED their account again, it was not removed as stated in their response to my complaint dated XX/XX/XXXX. I did not sign or approve a medical releases of my private information to Healthcare Receivables Group. It has been proven that Healthcare Receivables Group are not Holders in Due Course, it has also been proven that my HIPPA rights have been violated once again and that I have never received any goods or services from these debt collectors. Please remove this account from my credit file It must also be noted that Healthcare Receivables Group never allowed me to properly dispute their debt before placing their account with the bureaus for collection. Proving they do not honorably allow their alleged clients to dispute the validity of their debts before placing their accounts with the bureaus for collection.

Hi, To whom this may concern, I have contacted Healthcare Receivables on XX/XX/XXXX to Request my Debt Validation with the following information below, The name and address of the original creditor, the account number, and the amount owed. Verification that there is a valid basis for claiming I am required to pay the current amount owed. Details about the age and amount of the debt, including a copy of the last billing statement from the original creditor ; a detailed explanation of any interest added or payments made since the last billing statement and the legal authorization for this interest ; the date the original creditor claims this debt became delinquent. Whether this debt is within the statute of limitations and how that was determined. Details about their authority to collect this debt : whether they are licensed in my state and if so provide the date of the license, name on the license, license number, and the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. If they are contacting me from outside my state, provide the licensing information from their state as well. I was contacted from a representative XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX that accidentally called without realizing that her company had sent out a letter or mail with information regarding my case. She then realized that her company submitted my information to the wrong address. I contacted the company last month and hadn't received a phone call or email until today. This is a violation of HIPAA due to it is unethical to send out a person 's personal information without confirming their correct address. I provided the representative with my correct information but, due to the federal law it states that the company had 30 days to respond to my letter and unfortunately, I am locating in Texas and they are now having to reverse and send out a new letter to my correct address, which will cause a interference and time constraint with the 30 day time frame.

XX/XX/XXXX, I said in my dispute : I did receive medical care but I had Medicaid because I was XXXX and unable to work! This debt was incurred because the insurance coder at the medical facility entered in my insurance info incorrectly or failed to enter it in. I never received any bill or other communication from this facility so I thought the bill was paid by Medicaid as it should have been. Now they have turned it over to collections when I was never even notified. I tried to contact the hospital to get them to run my insurance info but they wouldn't because this was in XXXX. It is their employees fault and I am not responsible for this debt! I had no income due to high risk XXXX, I had my daughter XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This is in collections, the only collection I have. Collection Agency : HEALTHCARE RECEIVABLES GROUP. Original Creditor Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Amount {$520.00}. Company responded on XX/XX/XXXX : Company 's Response Thanks for sharing this information. We are closing your account and returning it to our client so it can be properly handled there. We are also deleting the account from the credit reporting agencies. I have been fighting to have this removed for over a year now. At this point, the debt should have been removed per the companys information theyre providing me but I have disputed this debt with XXXX multiple times & they keep coming back saying the debt has been verified by the collection agency as accurate! The debt is from XXXX & has surpassed the statute of limitations for Virginia at this point. I want it removed from my XXXX credit report.

I requested debt validation from Healthcare Receivables and I received back some charges but they changed the account numbers from what I request I requested a validation of debt from this company and they received it on XX/XX/XXXX. They sent back some charges and they did not respond to the account numbers that they have listed in my credit reports which are hurting me greatly. They have sent back fictitious accounts numbers bc they can not verify that this is my debt. The response on my complaint with XXXX was the I was basically confused on what was an account number. They sent me some foreign account numbers that affected me being able to dispute with the credit bureaus. I will attach proof to this complaint. I have kept very meticulous records of my dealings with them. The correspondence that they sent has my named spelled wrong and an address I am not aware of. I do know my rights and I plan to use them to the fullest extent. I have no idea of these treatment locations nor this debt. I am convinced they are making this up to acquire money from people who don't know there rights. The dates they are showing on this paperwork is incorrect. I have witnesses as to where I was on the dates reported and will have that proof once we go to court. I KNOW THAT UNDER THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACT WHAT MY RIGHTS ARE : REPORTING INFORMATION THAT YOU KNOW IS BLATANTLY A LIE AND INACCURATE VIOLATE MY RIGHTS UNDER THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT! I do not recognize thus charges and will let it be known that I am disputing it.

The company name is HealthCare Receivables Group. I woke up one morning to check my bank account. Only to find on my credit report 159 new accounts opened in my name. Apparently they opened debt collection accounts in my name with multiple duplicates. We're talking some charges duplicated as much as 15 or possibly even 20 times. Which also inflates the amount owed and makes the amount of credit owed appear greater than it actually is. This is a direct attempt to sabotage my credit after I've told them to stop contacting me. And they contact me nearly daily. Sometimes two or three times a day as well. I do not believe these multiple duplicate charges to be " accidents '' they're not being paid, they've been told not to contact, and they break pretty much every single protection that a consumer is supposed to have from being harassed. Also when they contact to collect they lie about the nature of the call. When you ask what this is in regaurds to they state and this is a direct quote : " It's in regaurds to a personal business matter for ( insert x ) '' Not at any point disclosing this is an attempt to collect a debt. Or even the name of their own company. They don't even disclose that. As a result it now looks like I owe 160 creditors and it's 1 SINGLE company. It also looks like I owe about XXXX when it's probably more like XXXX. If that even. Anyone that thinks about using this collections agency don't. You're literally giving them license to harass your clients. Because that's all they do.

EMAIL : XXXX MAIL : Healthcare Receivables Group, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TN XXXX PHONE:XXXX ( toll-free ) or XXXX ( local ) HRG never ever reported ANY of the payments I made on my collection account which opened up well over 12 months! In addition, HRG illegally refreshed and reported the remaining balance of approx {$160.00} to my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX, which I paid off on XX/XX/XXXX ( approx {$170.00} ). The original account balance which opened up on my credit report approx 15 months ago, was unchanged from the {$1000.00}, which gave the deceitful appearance I never paid down my account monthly. You are in violation of illegal, inaccurate and willful neglect to accurately reflect the payments I made on this collection account over more than 12 months since the account opened, and you intentionally and in violation of Unfair, deceptive and abusive acts or practices ( UDAAP ) under the CFPB deceptively and unfairly refreshed and re-reported the debt on XX/XX/XXXX after having never reporting monthly updates to payments made on my account. This deceptive and willful unfair act caused harm and reduced my credit score over 58 points via XXXX. HRG needs to remove this inaccurate reporting on XX/XX/XXXX given these factors above. I am also going to start a complaint with the CFPB for your violation of FDCPA and UDAAP.

On XX/XX/2018 I contacted Health Receivables Group. I wanted to pay a XXXX medical debt on my XXXX credit report. When I contacted them, they also stated, there was another bill in their office for XXXX. So I paid both of these. They also had more medical bills from when I became XXXX, so I made payment arrangements of XXXX a month to come out of my XXXX every month. I contacted XXXX and asked them why this was on my credit report still and they stated I needed to file a dispute. The dispute came back I still owed the XXXX even though I paid it. So I called Healthcare Receivables Group up and they said they never said that. I filed two more disputes and they it came back I still owed that amount. I am enclosing the credit charge to show that I paid that. The payment in the photo attachment is shown under HRG. And it should be removed. I am also stating if I am paying XXXX a month on the bills owed, they should be showing up on my credit report for the other medical bills on my credit report. But, they are not reporting the amounts on my credit report that I am paying like the other collection agencies and this directly affects my credit report which I am trying to clean up even on a small limited income.

I have never received any communication from the debts from Healthcare Receivables that are reporting on my credit report. Per government statue medical collections are given a 6 month window before the post a collection on your account. I would of paid the collection for {$120.00} and the other on that is for {$160.00}. It amazes me that doing the time of Covid that companies will have such illegal debt practices. I contacted the original creditor and my account was billed to insurance and covered, so why the need to collect? I'm submitting this complaint against HEALTHCARE RECEIVABLES GROUP due to their total disrespect for my consumer rights under the FCRA/FCBA/FDCPA. I've been disputing incorrect and unverifiable information and requested intimate information about the suspected account, including a copy of an agreement with my signature on it, but I have yet to receive anything. They refuse to provide it, which is not right and is not compliant with the FCRA/FDCPA. My life has been completely ruined by this as I am in the process of getting a mortgage. I need help as I have had enough of their stalling tactics. I hope to get a positive response soon.

This collection company, Health Care Receivables group, have been attempting to collect a debt in the amount of {$3100.00} which has also been placed on my credit report. I do not have a contract with this company nor have I received any services from this company for the company to allege that I owe them this debt. I have requested validation of this debt, however this company have failed to provide proof of services they have rendered to me. I have tried to resolve this issue before and requested to have this debt removed from any and all credit reporting companies, however, the company responded with incorrect information. The company responded with inaccurate information which in addition, is also why the debt need to be removed from my credit report. The company responded that I had only made 3 payments to account, this information is incorrect, ive made payments from XX/XX/XXXX up until XX/XX/XXXX which is when the collection took place which account should have never been a collection. Next incorrect information is the balance of the debt. The high balance shows {$3300.00} and another {$3200.00}. The debt can not have 2 different balances.

I disputed an account, it was removed from all the other credit reports except for XXXX. I received verbal confirmation that it had been removed from Healthcare Receivables Group on XX/XX/2022 when I called on XX/XX/2022. I paid the original creditor on XX/XX/2022. I submitted a dispute, but according to XXXX the debt collection agency, the original creditor is still reporting the account as unpaid and open to XXXX I've been getting the runaround from both companies about how to proceed. I had another verbal conversation that it had been removed on their end ( HRC ) on XX/XX/2022, and that it is no longer with them per their supervisor. I had received additional confirmation that it had been taken off of the report on XX/XX/2022. Health Care Receivables Group 's contact info is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the original creditor 's contact info is XXXX XXXX said that they can't remove it unless XXXX reports it as removed and that they will do so as soon as it's reported to them, XXXX has said that it's up to XXXX to remove it. Receipts are attached, it's been paid in full. I'm very frustrated and tired of getting the runaround from both companies.

I received a bill from the doctors that I didn't agree with the amount because it seemed extremely high and like it might not have been my bill and requested a detailed bill from the doctors office. The hospital never complied after 2 request. On XX/XX/2019, I received a collection bill from Health Care Receivables Group and immediately requested a debt validation on XX/XX/2019 of the debt because I still believed there was an error. Healthcare Receivables Group never validated the debt within 30 days, even though I submitted my request within days of receiving the initial notification. They continued after this moment to call me numerous times a day and leaving voicemails regarding this debt. on XX/XX/2019, I finally answered and told them to stop calling me and that I had asked for validation months ago and never received it and they immediately slapped this collection account on my credit report at that point on XX/XX/2019. I am currently under contract for a house an their unfair collection practices have cause me tremendous XXXX and XXXX, not to mention could cause me to loose my earnest deposit and due diligence.

Second I have been XXXX and have had XXXX since XXXX of this year and before that and during XXXX I also had XXXX XXXX who I spoke to and they confirmed they paid all my vlaims from when I had insurance with XXXX. Healthcare Receivables Group are debt collectors attempting to collect a debt on behalf of medical services I have not received from them. I am not a party to their agreement with XXXX XXXX and I have not agreed to pay anything to Healthcare Receivables Group. I have not provided any releases of my medical information to Healthcare Receivables Group ; I have attempted to mail Healthcare Receivables Group several letters to multiple addresses to allow Healthcare Receivables Group to validate their debt and the mail was ignored. I have no idea how Healthcare Receivables Group received my private medical information. Healthcare Receivables Group have once again damaged my credit scores and violated my H.I.P.P.A. rights and is attempting to collect on an alleged debt that does not belong to me. Healthcare Receivables Group continuously violates the FDCPA by attempting to collect on alleged debts without providing any proof of service or goods. I have proof of previous disputes from Healthcare Receivables Group that was satisfied.

I received a collection statement for an XXXX visit, dated XX/XX/XXXX. The first {$50.00} payment was made online on XX/XX/XXXX, and every month after that. I have a total of 5 accounts for medical bills with Healthcare Receivables Group. I attempted to pay off two of these accounts, and have those two accounts removed from my XXXX credit report. I was told by the supervisor, XXXX, that the policy with the company was they would not report those accounts as paid in full to the credit agency until I paid off all 5 accounts. I do not feel this is a fair practice as each account was put on my credit at different times, each account has different dates of service, and different amounts. This company has already closed all 5 accounts on my XXXX score even though they are not paid in full. I want to file a complaint because I feel a debt agency should not hold my paid in full accounts " hostage '' for me to pay the entire amount that is owed. Points were deducted from my credit score for each account, so each account that is paid in full should then be submitted back to the credit agency to increase my score.

Hello. I had a fraudulent charge of {$320.00} reported on my account by Healthcare Receivables Group and I called and wrote to both them and XXXX. I never received anything back from either company. I then issued a dispute and transunion replied it was investigated and was a valid charge. I then wrote and called again and the billing company finally found their error and notified transition that it was in fact a billing error. On XX/XX/XXXX my credit account was changed to say the {$320.00} was " paid off '' implying that I paid the fraudulent charge instead of just removing it from my credit report. I then issued another dispute with them but it still say 's " paid off '' and it would stay on my credit report until 2026. That would not be fair as I never owed that money. Thank you for handling this for me as I have spent many frustrating days on the phone and writing letters.

I did receive medical care but I had XXXX because I was XXXX and unable to work! This debt was incurred because the insurance coder at the medical facility entered in my insurance info incorrectly or failed to enter it in. I never received any bill or other communication from this facility so I thought the bill was paid by XXXX as it should have been. Now they have turned it over to collections when I was never even notified. I tried to contact the hospital to get them to run my insurance info but they wouldn't because this was in 2015. It is their employees fault and I am not responsible for this debt! I had no income due to high risk XXXX, I had my daughter XXXX weeks early and we both almost died. This is in collections, the only collection I have. Collection Agency : HEALTHCARE RECEIVABLES GROUP. Original Creditor Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Amount {$520.00}

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from healthcare receivables stating I owed a debt, when they asked if I was who I was and what my DOB was I would not provide them that information and they would hang up. They called me once a week for about 3 months. Every time they called I asked for them to validate who they were and where they were calling from, each time they would say we cant release that information until we know its you I never once received anything in writing stating who they were or where this debt came from. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a certified letter, a debt validation letter, asking them to send me an itemized bill along with a contract that I signed stating that I had the debt they were claiming I owed. It has been over 30 days and there has been no contact from Healthcare Receivables.

Healthcare Receivables Group has reported an alleged debt in the amount of {$780.00} to the consumer reporting agencies. I have not entered into a contractual agreement with this company and there was never an initial communication between us. Healthcare Receivables Group obtained and furnished my personal information without my direct consent which constitutes identity theft and a violation of my individual privacy rights as a consumer pursuant to 15 USC 1692. The furnishing of this alleged debt to my consumer reports is harmful to my reputation pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 2 ). I am disputing the validity of this alleged debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692g. I have sent a debt validation letter to Healthcare Receivables Group on XX/XX/2021 and I await a response.

This creditor continues to report outstanding balances regarding medical debt to my credit report. I have advised and requested over a period of multiple years that either them or the original creditor can submit any outstanding medical debts to either XXXX XXXXXXXX or XXXX depending on dates of service. They have also been advised by me that they could have presented these bills in a retroactive manner. I have also requested to the current and original creditors to provide to me in writing that they have submitted any bills to the eligible insurance companies for payment and that they were denied by the insurance company. Despite my many requests to provide in writing, as of XX/XX/2022 I have no received any notification of denied claim in writing.

Healthcare Receivables Group is consistently harassing me. The company has called from different area codes repeatedly every day for months, even after I have asked them to cease calls. They also send mail even after relocation to a different address that I do not provide to them. I have disputed against the company on numerous occasions and there has been no resolution. Upon further investigation, the state of North Carolina requires collection agencies to be licensed and active within their state. Healthcare Receivables Group is currently SUSPENDED with North Carolina 's Secretary State and should therefore be removed from all credit bureau agencies immediately due to a non active status.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with a woman who stated her name was XXXX and represented herself as a manger. I gave her a verbal cease and desist and stated any further communication should be conducted by US mail. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received 3 phone calls from this company in a little over an hour. On numerous occasions I have attempted to give this company the numerous adjusters and claim information to pursue the insurance for these bills. I have occupational hazard insurance, personal medical insurance, medical payments coverage, as well as third party liability insurance in relation to these bills. I was told the company would not submit bills to the insurance and I needed to pay them.

The collection account shows as Healthcare Receivables Group on my credit report with the original creditor shown as XXXX XXXX Hospital. I did not receive any written notice or communication about this debit nor any written communication that the debt would be placed on credit report. I had been making {$25.00} payments monthly, sometimes more so I did not understand why the debt was now a collection. Once I noticed the collection account, I contacted XXXX XXXX to find out why the account was now a collection, I was told there was nothing they could do.
