I wish to express my concern and formally raise a complaint about an inaccurate 30-day late payment report by HATFIELD INC DBA GRID. This incorrect reporting has adversely affected my credit score, and I am reaching out to the CFPB to help address and rectify this issue. Sequence of Events : XX/XX/XXXX : I initiated an account with HATFIELD INC DBA GRID, encompassing a XXXX XXXX monthly subscription and a {$200.00} credit line. I received confirmation that auto-pay would be in effect immediately upon account setup. XX/XX/XXXX : To ensure clarity, I engaged with GRID 's support, who validated the activation of the auto-pay mechanism on my account. XX/XX/XXXX : Notably, while the auto-pay did cover the monthly subscription in XX/XX/XXXX, it neglected to address the due payment for the credit line. It is essential to note that this was the sole instance of non-payment over a 12-month period. GRID did not notify me or provide reasons for this omission. My bank records affirm the monthly subscription payment and show no debit attempts for the credit line. Despite available funds and GRID 's terms stipulating repeated payment attempts in case of initial failure, no such efforts were made on their part. XX/XX/XXXX : A subsequent review of my credit revealed a decline of 28 points, attributable to GRID 's 30-day late payment report a report which conflicts with the auto-pay assurances given by GRID. Impact and Expected Resolution : This incorrect report shifted my credit category from " Good '' to " Fair '', compromising my financial credibility and opportunities. Such misinformation is not only concerning but also jeopardizes my long-term financial stability. In light of the above, I kindly request the CFPB to : Advocate for the removal of the incorrect 30-day late payment report on my credit file. Encourage HATFIELD INC DBA GRID to assess and refine their auto-pay system, ensuring future reliability. Seek a formal written acknowledgment and apology from HATFIELD INC DBA GRID for the oversight and its potential implications. I have attached pertinent documents, including interactions with GRID and the credit report indicating the error, for your consideration. Your efforts in aiding resolution and ensuring consumer rights remain safeguarded are greatly valued. I eagerly await a positive outcome.

My complaint is against company Hatfield , Inc. XXXX XXXX. When I joined or signed up for XXXX I was asked to submit my recent paystub information. Fast forwarding to recent events and the nature of my complaint today, I requested a loan on XX/XX/2022 for the total amount of {$60.00}. This was successfully delivered to my bank checking account on the same day, XX/XX/XXXX. On Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX payments of {$14.00} and one payment of {$3.00} totaling {$60.00}. This payment that was deducted on XX/XX/XXXX caused my checking account to go into overdraft which resulted in bank overdraft fees. Per Hatfield, XXXX on the app it specifically states under the article/question " Can I Change My Repayment Date '' the following : " Our system automatically check your account balance and debit your connected account for the remainder of the advance ONCE THERE ARE SUFFICIENT FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT. '' This statement is inaccurate and falsely advertised by the company. I provided paystubs documentation that shows my pay dates are every OTHER FRIDAY. However, they deducted funds from my account on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX which is earlier than what I provided to the company as my documented pay dates and also the day that I am able to afford to repay the loan. I contacted customer support on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX to dispute this transaction and explain the above. I explained to them that my bank as a COURTSEY to their customers may release my pay check early which falls on a Wednesday but this is a COURTSEY and my confirmed/documented pay date as shown on my paystubs. The respond that I received from customer care via email was that I need to have sufficient funds in my account to cover the repayment funds and also in a later email correspondence ( after going back and forth with them ) they stated that the system can in error detect an incorrect pay date and at this time they are working on their system. This is unacceptable, if you are a company that lends money. Additionally, on several occasions via email I have asked/requested contact information so that I can speak with a LIVE HUMAN about this matter and no contact information have been provided to me from customer support as of today 's XX/XX/XXXX - date.

Grid is reporting two accounts within their company under my profile- while I only believe to have one account with them I understand the basis that I have a credit line and an advance line through them under the same account. However, my issue within this company is the false reporting. They are currently reporting that I am 120 days late, I have never been 120 days late with their company. I disputed the reporting XX/XX/31. They updated my account as paid as agreed and then as of last week changed it back to over 120 days late, which is wrong. They are violating my rights of the Fair Credit Reporting Act by falsely reporting my account as over 120 days late. I have attempted to resolve this issue in a multitude of differing ways and nothing has been resolved. I am in the process of trying to buy a house and their false reporting is destroying my chances of getting my home. If they can not fix this and correct my report I will have no other choice but to turn to other actions to resolve this violation of my rights.

XXXX XXXX stated that they didnt put this on my credit file or reported it to the credit bureau but a huge outstanding balance thats totally incorrect is on my credit report grid put this on my credit report and they stated they didnt bring me to credit over this I wouldnt call the police on on my own brother over the improper use of credit or ask for a report we talked things over this needs to be done and over with and removed off my credit if this wasnt on my credit then this dispute would be non existent

This company has charged my debit card multiple times for a subscription that is supposed to be billed monthly. I have been charged 4x in one day on some charges and twice in a month for others. Nearly {$100.00} in charges. I have chatted in with them and they have not explained the charges, only stating that I owe them. Unsure is this is a robot or a real person. There is no phone number to reach this company. I have asked multiple times to close the account and they are stating that I still owe them money that needs to be paid before closing the account. I have a checking account and debit card attached to the account. I was able to reset my banking password to prevent them from withdrawing from it. But my debit card is still on the app and the company will not allow me to remove it. Today, they attempted to charge my card again for {$11.00}. Unsure of the reason. Had I not locked my card, this charge wouldve came through. They just charged my card {$10.00} on XXXX and another {$10.00} on XXXX.

I got a payday advance from this company. when I went to try and pay it back it always said something is wrong with your card. I didnt think most of it at the time because I seen that they were taking small amount out of my account to go towards the loan. When when I noticed they was taking a monthly payment amount of {$10.00} I went to check the app because I know I selected a free subscription. When I go on the app it does say Im under a free subscription but when I reach out they say Im not. But they can not example to me why my subscription says free and Ive sent them a screenshot of my subscription showing free. This company has taken over {$100.00} out of my account. With my subscription as free in the app but saying they see its not, I feel that this is misleading.

I submitted two separate tickets to cancel my membership with this company. However the first ticket was not honored. They make it seem as if your request will be handled in email however they only respond in a hidden chat box hidden in the app. Also after submitting a ticket to cancel in the chat box it states If you would like to chat with a live agent, please stay in the chat. This is very misleading. After submitting a ticket where you clearly express that you would like to cancel and delete your account, nothing is stated that you have to respond to them in the chat in the app in order to actually have the account cancelled. I was charged for two months of the subscription because of this and only after the second ticket was I able to cancel this service.

On XX/XX/XXXX I requested my ACH authorization be revoked from XXXX XXXX ( Hatfield, Inc ). XXXX agreed and stated my account was unlinked and not to be charged but that repayment was still due. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX charged my banked account via ACH for 5 {$10.00} transactions and one {$60.00} transaction. My account was never re-linked, and no new authorization was given. This mean they stored my information for months and used it to charge me almost 6 months later. I talked to XXXX who refunded {$50.00} but not the other {$60.00}, despite no authorization being given. I advised XXXX and provided the documentation from them that authorization was revoked, and they unliked my account on XX/XX/XXXX, yet they will not return the other {$60.00}.

I took an advance from Grid months ago. Once it was repaid, I wanted to delete my entire account with them. This was in XX/XX/2023. They do not allow you to delete your information from their mobile applications or from your online account profile. I was told that they had to do it from their end. Today, XX/XX/2023, they have again charged me {$10.00} for a " membership fee '' that I did not want ... which showed me that they didn't delete my banking information from their databases. These people are a scam. They will continue to charge you even after you have cancelled your " membership '' with them. Do NOT get involved with them!!!!

On XX/XX/, I noticed the credit card company Grid never initiated a payment for my monthly credit card bill after I requested it to be drawn out. I've requested a total number of 6 requests and no money was ever taking out. I reached out to the credit card company on XX/XX/XXXX and they told me to pay it another way in their system. On XX/XX/XXXX I did that and I noticed the payment was voided on their end. So on XX/XX/XXXX I noticed that my credit score decreased XXXX points because they sent late payment information to the credit bureau 's. I asked this company to cancel my subscription. I have called this company multiple times and no one answers and they direct you to an bot to chat with. I told this bot to cancel my subscription and now Im having money stolen from my bank account. This is fraud.
