Hameroff Law Firm, in XXXX, Arizona sued me for a debt less than XXXX dollars for collection. Before the lawsuit, they would call me at all hours of the day, leaving horrible messages and the few times I spoke to them, they left me in a state of panic. I explained the current circumstances at the time and how I could pay but they would not accept it, they wanted all the money at one time and immediately. Communication with them was absolutely terrifying and I was afraid to even answer the phone. Hameroff sued me, I went to the courthouse but it would cost me additional money to answer, money I did not have. I left messages to the company but they did not return my calls. I began working with XXXX to help restructure my debt and even they had a difficult time establishing any kind of worthwhile communication. Hammeroff, treated them the same way they were treating me. Eventually, they got a judgment against me and garnished my wages for close to {$300.00} dollars every two weeks - that is the equivalent of half my paycheck. The debt could have been paid in one payment, but rather, they penalized me with close to {$1200.00} in fees for a debt that was less than {$300.00} dollars. Hameroff Law Firm, made it impossible for me to reply in court, make arrangements for payment or work with me - rather it was abusive phone calls, threats and harassment. Thank you.

After what I considered unfair treatment by XXXX, I had a credit card charge-off in XX/XX/2008. A few months ago, my wife was served papers for a lawsuit filed by a collection agency with my name and hers as defendants. More than six years had passed since the approximately {$7500.00} debt had been charged off, and now a debt collection agency in XXXX was suing me. I feel there are many problems with the suit, among them the amount of time since the charge-off, the fact that no attempt was made to contact me about paying the debt, my wife and I did not know each other at the time I incurred the debt and it was charged off, yet now she was named as a defendant, and I was never given the opportunity to 'have my day in court. ' I filed a response at the courthouse ( at a cost of almost {$300.00} XXXX, and was never granted the opportunity to plead my case. I heard from the law firm suing me that I lost and also that there was to be a hearing about garnishment, but all of these communications were sent ( I believe purposely ) to an incorrect address so that I would not receive them. Now my paycheck is being garnished, and I have never had the chance to speak in court. I do n't know what to do.

I got a car loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At the time I could afford it and was making my payments. I lost my job a year and a half later ans went from XXXX to XXXX in one year. I turned the car in and was sued by Hamerhoff Law Group in XXXX They attached it to my home title and now I am becoming homeless. I called to do a settlement on XXXX so I would have enough money to move and still paying them XXXX but I was told too bad by a very snobby and rude assistant named XXXX. I asked her if there was any way of settling the account and she said no way and kept saying WHAT IS YOUR OFFER!!! ... .Remember I turned in the car. Not only that, I gave my brother and his family money to move for they have children. I can not believe that there is no compassion for people any more. I need a solution to be able to pay them and still have money to move. Thank you ...

A letter for debt collection was sent to me from the Hameroff law offices dated XX/XX/XXXX. In response, I mailed a letter ( certified ), dated XX/XX/XXXX, in which I requested not to be contacted about this debt any further. The statute of limitations for legal action on this account has passed. I have not made any payments on this debt since at least XX/XX/XXXX. In this letter, I stated : " Let this letter serve as notification that I do not wish to be contacted about this debt any further except to be notified that future collection efforts are terminated. Any other communication regarding this debt will be taken as a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. " I received another collections letter from them dated XX/XX/XXXX. Nowhere on this notice does it say anything their confirmation of my request.

On or around XX/XX/2022 I noticed a credit inquiry on my credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I immediately called them and they said they hold a judgement against me on a debt I do not recognize. They said they had the right to seize {$17000.00} from bank accounts. I can not find any record of a judgement and the alleged credit card company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, shows me " paid as agreed '' and in good standing all the way from present date to years before the alleged debt. I sent XXXX a Debt Validation Letter pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and received a USPS signed receipt for the letter from XXXX dated XX/XX/2022. I have had no response at all as of XX/XX/2022 and am highly concerned that they may try to collect the debt by seizing funds from my checking account.

This paper was signed a year after the company claimed I owed them money, no original paper work has ever been provided with my name or signature. I was truly afraid I was going to jail and had 4-5 calls a day threaten ing me.

I was never made aware or served any notice for court but was sued and now I have a judgement against me. I was originally sued for {$2100.00}. I am still getting harassing phone calls at work trying to garnish my wages and I receive letters telling me that my judgement is occurring interest. I have a letter that came 3 years after after my judgement with an amount greater then my judgement. I am unaware of this debt and was never made aware of any court but obviously I was n't there so the judge ruled in their favor. With this judgement on my credit report it is hurting me from getting a loan or opening any new line of credit to advance my lifestyle and business.

I had a car financed with a friend, we were behind on making payments, but we were nearly caught up when XXXX XXXX XXXX decided to repo the vehicle. They neglected to tell us we still owed on the vehicle, this was back in 2012. This year XXXX has filed a complaint with the courts ( lawsuit ) back in XX/XX/XXXX they initiated contact at my work, they were asked not to contact me there anymore, they said I failed to the court proceeding and I did but incorrectly, they decided to send the letter to my job, my store manager was furious since we already told them not to contact me there.

credit card opened by spouse solely XXXX credit card co charged of debt XXXX debt was purchased by Western State Financial Management, LLC Judgement was sub- served to mother of spouse. Spouse was in hospital in critical care when sub-served. spouse passed away shortly after without knowledge of service on judgment. Hamerhoff Law obtained judgment after attaching me as spouse. I had no knowledge, never signed or requested said credit. Hamerhoff Law then renewed judgment XXXX. Now remarried - have lein against the title of home purchased under my name, and new wifes name.

XXXX XXXX , XXXX Represented by Hameroff law Group XXXX as. Went to our bank XXXX XXXX and was allowed to take XXXX out of our savings account. We were never told about this. We only have our SSI coming in. The bank never told us about this either. It said they could never do this but they did. What can we do now? We have no other income.
