I began the loan process on XX/XX/2020. I started out with XXXX XXXX as my loan officer. I had an in depth conversation with her about my circumstances to ensure there would be no issues before formally applying. I applied and things were moving along fine until the week I was suppose to close. I signed disclosures, locked a rate and was approved by the lender. After all of this XXXX disappeared without notice. After calling over and over, I was finally told she no longer worked with the company. Even tho disclosures were signed I was then told they no longer offered the kind of loan ( for self employed people ) that I had applied for. I was a qualified applicant with a binding legal document executed and yet I after asking repeatedly I was given no real concrete answer as to why my loan was all of a sudden not fulfilled.
Because this originator is a broker they told me they would " flip me to a new lender '' .I was then made to go through the entire underwriting process again. This took another full month. Once again I met the criteria and was approved. Again I was promised I was going to be able to close XX/XX/XXXX XXXX on the XXXX I was told that my loan wouldn't close " because of Covid 19 ''! They said the lender XXXX Mortgage was not funding loans due to the crisis and was not going to do that type of loan anymore. I talked directly with XXXX XXXX and they said that was false information. I am writing this complaint because I believe I was discriminated against due to being self employed among other factors. I am requesting this lender been fined, their license be taken away and/or my loan be honored, whatever is appropriate in the case of discriminatory lending practices. I have good credit and met income criteria. Just because I am a XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX should not mean I can not get a loan like anyone else who is qualified.

Multiple missed deadlines. Claimed to be able to close the loan on several dates and all deadlines were missed. Communication was non existent between the lender and all related parties. Lender lied about when things were performed. Items that were supposedly ordered were never ordered. Calls to the lender went un-returned. XXXX XXXX the sr. Loan officer explicitly lied to seller, buyer and real estate agent. Conditions of the loan were changed from the initial conversation. Contention of conditions that could not be met went unacknowledged and were not addressed until the contract expired. The contract expired multiple times due to XXXX XXXX not working on the loan. Items that were needed for the loan were submitted multiple times due to the blatant neglect and disorganized nature of their business. The CEO was completely condescending and rude and failed to return calls and the loan was denied without merit after the contract had expired giving me no time to exercise clauses that would let me exit the loan without losing my earnest money. Had the conditions been addressed in a timely manner, I would have been able to exit the contract without penalty. I am now out XXXX $ due to the failure to perform on XXXX XXXX part.
