Greystone Alliance ( XXXX ) has continued to call me on my cell phone and landline about a debt that is not mine. Ostensibly, it is my brother 's. The company has continued to call on a regular basis, per the caller identification feature on my phones. I have repeatedly told the company this information and told them to take me off their call list. I recall doing this in XX/XX/XXXX. Again, on XX/XX/2019, I provided this information and told them to take my name off their calling lists. I was assured this would be done. Greystone called again on XX/XX/2019, and I repeated the information and my request. On XX/XX/2019, my brother contacted Greystone and told them to remove my numbers from their call list, and was assured that my phone numbers were removed by someone identifying herself as XXXX XXXX. Later in the morning, Greystone called me again on my landline. I called the company and requested to speak with a representative 's supervisor, and the representative hung up. I called again, and a different representative told me that my numbers were removed. I noted that contrary to what she had said, I had continued to get called. I requested the full company 's name, the states the company did business in, and to speak with the representative 's supervisor. The representative hung up.

They call my dad and say it is XXXX XXXX calling because a formal legal complaint has been filed against me and if he or I do not call back that they will have to get the police involved to find me. I call their number, XXXX. I am my dad 's XXXX and with him all day. This caused unnecessary stress for us both. I called the number and it is XXXX XXXX. They are a collection agency that demands payment immediately by credit card or they threaten you with court and jail time telling you that you committed a crime. We had a call exactly like this 5 months ago where we reacted to the fear tactics and we paid off more than {$600.00} for a supposed pay day loan that I never took out. I will not pay another fear mongering debt collector for a charge that is bullied and not mine. I especially ca n't get past them trying to scare my dad with the way they leave their messages and try to pretend the person they are calling about is about to be arrested if not for immediate action. I honestly do not know if this is connected to the company I dealt with over the supposed payday loan months again but their tactics are identical. I ca n't help feeling they are the same company or connected to them. Please help put a stop to this type of fear and lie based calling of relatives.

I have attempted to call this company, along with disputing the debt through the credit reporting agencies. They are reporting this on my credit as a delinquent collection. But also sent me a letter stating that it wasn't a collection agency. I contact the apartment complex XXXX XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX, she stated over the phone that I didn't owe them any money. I requested that she send me a copy of the bills that were sent to me. She then sent me an email with the ledger for my account. What this company is trying to collect for is fraudulent as I have not owed money since XX/XX/2015. I have attached the ledger sent from the apartment complex

My husband and myself gotten multiple calls from XXXX this past week. I was told that this is for a debt from XX/XX/2009. I was told that there was mail returned to them from an address that I moved from over 9 years ago. I was told that they have filed charges against me and threatened to sue me for this debt. I asked them about the statue of limitations and was told there is no limitations and they can sue me and put me in jail at any time. I told them I am not claiming ownership of this debt and would contact the CFPB for assistance. The last rep I spoke to was XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX.

After making 3 years of good payments at the apartments XXXX I was living in # XXXX, just leaving the Dealership to pursue my event goals, and was upfront about not renewing my lease. After i moved out, cleaned and left the key for inspection, i moved XXXX. I noticed after i got into a new apartment for another couple of years i saw that there was a deragragoty on my credit. someone took my info, or the apartments may have thought is was me and charged me for a couple months remaining? i would have never broken my lease by 1 month..
