On XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a collection notice in the amount of {$47.00} from the Law Office of Gregory Hagan which he claims I owe to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent out a letter of dispute and debt verification to his office via certified mail. Attorney Hagan received my letter and personally signed for it on the green form which I recieved back in the mail on XX/XX/XXXX. After never receiving any form of validation from Attorney Hagan I then recieved a 2nd collection letter 0n XX/XX/XXXX stating that I ignored his first letter and this will not be tolerated. He also stated that if legal action becomes necessary I will have to pay court costs and legal fees. I called Attorney Hagans office on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to speak with him and continue to recieve voicemail. His office called and left me a voice mail as well after my first attempt in contacting him. I have spoke with a local FDCPA Attorney on this matter and was told that Attorney Hagan violated FDCPA law by continuing to collect wothout validating the debt and by writing misleading and untrue information in his 2nd letter since I clearly contacted him and didnot ignore his 1st letter.
